We think this is under the rights of the company and not an individual. That's why.
It's been pretty clear CBS will go above and beyond to do a good and thorough job when it comes to his work, I think having more to do with his integrity and work ethics. Also remember he's been working for the same company for a long time before being transferred due to cutbacks in which he was recognized year after year at his old branch. He possibly did it out of good faith or assumed this could be a favorable bargaining chip if needed down the road. But one things for certain is as good of a guy he is, he's proven he won't take being treated like crap lying down and will use his wits to cleverly retaliate.
Maybe she knew she was already on thin ice and counted her blessings for not being canned but I was expecting…
I do agree. Ultimately her job is to carry out whatever corporate decides, but based on my initial viewing she just seemed surprisingly colder towards CBS than expected despite what they've been through. At this point in their professional relationship I figured they’re at the level where she could be honest and tell him what she’s dealing with, obviously a less interesting approach than where we’re at now. Lol Also rewatching at the moment now that English subs are available and I totally missed the part where she’s trying to negotiate a decent severance packages with the finance dept in which her friend/roommate sorta threw her under the bus and suggested she use some of her salary lol. Definitely sucks to be in her shoes.
Mr Choi got up at the end of this episode and said " Imma show yall why this show's title is what it is"🤣🤣🤣.…
Maybe she knew she was already on thin ice and counted her blessings for not being canned but I was expecting her to at the least put up some sort of fight for Mr. Choi, especially since was HIS ingenuity that helped save the company as well as her position.
yes you are right! check out this behind the scenes video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xit-ScWgtOs&ab_channel=NetflixJapan
Thanks so much for the link! Yeah I've seen this since finishing. I was really impressed how they recreated the live action streets of Shibuya! Looking forward to Season 2!
Touching end. I’ll admit for some it may be confusing but without going into spoiler territory not sure if the could’ve shot it differently. Although I knew there had to be a twist half way didn’t expect the one we got and that’s a good thing. Would recommend~
And yet you’re realizing these tropes now?? Here are a few more tropes used all the time in no order: long lost family members, memory loss, love triangles, lovers from different classes and their opposing family, DNA relation discovery by testing toothbrush, accidental death or memory loss by getting hit or falling down on head or by oncoming vehicle which has plenty of time to stop but doesn’t stop… I can go on.. ;)
Just started and finished watching Sweet Home over the weekend and who do I happen to pleasantly be surprised to find but Mr. Shin! Who happens to be pretty badass in that. Definitely compared to his character here esp while brandishing a katana! Lol
Lee Sang Yeob has great range. He’s such a jerk here but he’s so different in Love Affairs in the Afternoon.…
Also in Once Again. That’s where I first saw him and pretty much the reason I gave this drama a go since he was the only actor I recognized. His character in that drama was the total opposite than the one here. As much as I have much disdain for his character he is a talented actor.
This will be a fun drama if anything just to see her in a role that I’ve never seen her in.
