PDR's mom and GPS's grandma. 2 most annoyingly shameless characters. Rarely have I found myself so triggered that I'm yelling at the TV bcuz of these 2. ><

I dunno, I mean now that HHS and his family found out JNY is JSJ's sister they have to be SUPER weirded out and suspicious by this huge but unlikely 'coincidence'. If I was HHS, foget yo feelings I'd be demanding that DNA test ASAP!

Plain and simple she's a psychopath with a victim mentality. Everything she's done was premeditated. I mean she even has a diagram of her evil plan on her bedroom wall! LOL

That yell when she told HHS to leave after she was questioned whether he was the father, LOL that was strangely both cringe and satisfying. The nerve that SHE got offended, even though she's the one that created this whole stupid mess! SMH

JNY and her mom deserve every sort of kharma headed their way. They are the most heinous and self centetn b*tches ever! Argh.

Also if she wasn't so self centered she'd realize she's her own biggest obstacle but then again look at her mom.

Can I also add self-centered, obsessive and psychotic? lol Ok, sounds like I didn't miss anything relevant although seems like a huge plot hole but hopefully/maybe it'll be explained as the show progresses.

First apologies if this has already been covered but can somebody explain how/when during the show JNY became so financially independant right after sabotaging JSJ's reputation?? Also if she's tgat well off why diesn't she help her family's living situation?? Thanks!

I can't decide whether it's how the character is written or if it's her acting but it's not a good sign when the main character is starting to annoy you. She's slightly dimwitted and accident prone which is a little cliché. I will say the main FL could easily pass as Kim You Jung's older sister as far as looks go. Unfortunately, that's pretty much where the similarity ends.

So this has become my guilty pleasure.
The cast and direction and storytelling. I've just discovered KHY. Really impressed with her range in acting. She can be soul crushingly sad one minute and a totally adorable the next. Makes me want to check out her other work. Also the rivalry between RSJ and KTS for IS's attention is entertaining as well as the crush IS's friend has on her brother who doesn't seem to give a shit. lol
Can't wait for the next episode.

Back when I learned this was based off an existing show I thought it would be cool to get sort of an idea what the story would be about. Having watched the first episode I'm pretty optimistic this will do well. I really enjoy LJH's work. It was also cool to see the throwback to the original

For anyone interested this is a prequel to the old Kdrama of the same name from the 70's, (obviously minus the '1958'). The old man in the beginning (Choi Bul Am) is the original actor from the series. LJH portrays his younger self as well as the grandson at the start.

Agreed. The way she harshly talked trash about him trying to hide suspicion, literally broke his heart from shock. The woman cannot stop from making bad decisions.

A good mix of action, drama and humor. Loved the characters/acting and chemistry. Upon seeing the first episode I was ready to drop but glad I stuck with it til the end. Definitely one of my top dramas of this year. ^^

not to mention Subway, which gives me cravings so guess it works.
