She was stranded on an island for 15 years without other human contact and is suppose to have the emotional level,…
I'm confused you first started off talking about how 'stupid' she is and now you're arguing that she's smarter than typical kids her age after a long term isolation?
There are studies of isolation and how it effects a person's psyche and they aren't positive. 15 years is a LOOONG time. Realistically, it does't matter how resourceful you are and chances are she wouldn't have survived but obviously this is a fictional drama and unless you're Supergirl or Strong Girl Namsoon, if you're gonna argue that she's somehow not gonna be affected negatively and maintain all her wit and social maturity then I don't know what to say.
no, woohak is older than bogoel both in their original and fake identities. kiho is the same age as mokha. but…
Ey that goes without saying but some people don't appreciate misinformation is all and if I'm wrong then I'm wrong, no biggie. Also it's a bit ironic if you're not interested in the conversation why bother even posting about it? lol
That was confusing and annoying af. Correct me if I'm wrong but apparently it was subbed using AI. It's in one…
I'll have to check it out there when I get a chance. Yeah it's a little over the top with the drugs and effects but didn't really watch enough to decide whether to drop it or not. I gave it a shot cuz of CHW but coming off of Twinkling Waternelon this role seems a bit of a let down. lol

How did she have 'street smarts' before getting stranded? 15 years(?) away from civilization when you're still that young, she wouldn't have had the social opportunities and experiences to develop certain skills or knowledge compared to someone her age who wasn't isolated. That doesn't mean she's dumb but naiive at least while she readjusts.

That has nothing to do with being 'mentally challenged'. There's book smarts and then there's street smarts which is kinda hard to develop if you were isolated for so many years and your only social contact was a bird.
What a ride~ Never would've imagined I'd be so invested into a drama especially with 'Twinkling' and 'Watermelon' in the title. All 4 main leads were meant for their roles especially CHW. His charisma and personality really made the drama what it is as well as the chemistry between all the characters.
That scene of HEG saying goodbye to HYC before leaving the past and how his friendship meant so much to HYC as being a sort of a father figure that he never had... it's been awhile since a show has given me the feels as much as this has. Also encouraged by the message about living life to its fullest and embracing life's hardships and not giving up, as cliche as it sounds it's a lesson that reminded me that some things are just beyond your control. Sucks it's come to it's conclusion already. Would've been nice to see more of HEG and CSK spending time together after they got back or some sort of cut scenes of how life progressed for the others after these 2 left but that's just minor wishful thinking. I also loved the somewhat Back to the Future vibes~ Looking forward to what's next for these actors.
As far as stories go involving time travel, this is definitely up there and you know a drama is good when you know you're gonna miss the characters~ 🥲
Really had no expectations going in and seeing where the story was heading I was ready to drop. So glad I didn't. This drama has been pleasantly entertaining and satisfying so far from the get go as far as revenge plots go The acting is great but mainly gave this a shot because of Jung Yoo Min since discovering her in Red Balloon and Sung Hoon has been another welcome discovery and their chemistry is great.Looking forward to further going down this rabbit hole!

I've put this drama on hold and haven't checked lately but if you watch an episode and in the beginning it says 'Translate by AI provided by www.watchasian' and you see Korean names translated as Chinese then it's bad because aside from names the dialogue for the most part will make no sense and gets distracting but you might have a higher tolerance? Hope this helps.
