Title KinnPorsche Spoiler
Vegas captures Pete and r@pes him, tortures him
Oh, that's good, I hope you are right. It's just that 'falling in love with your rapist' is such a horrible trope. Replacing woman with the man does not make it better. Also, the older I get, the more I curate my entertainment experience. Thank you.

I have been reading comments and, if I understood it correctly, Pete ends up with Vegas (I haven't read the book), after Vegas does something terrible to him. Will someone spoil me so I can mentally prepare? Pete is a sweetheart and I already hate the thought of seeing him hurt.

It's done. Bai Yu's and Chen Kun's last scene together made me bawl.
Very good drama that got better as it moved along. The spy games became mind blowing by the end.

Frankly, I suspected almost from the beginning that Chen Gong would die. After all, no matter how good of a spy he was, he was one of the pawns that could be sacrificed for 'the greater good'. After his wife died, I was almost 100% certain. But I am a sap, so I hoped that the brothers would both survive. Also, politics is a quagmire and politicians - filth. Not one higher up in the Agency or politician was even decent if not 'good'. Only for Xun Xu you could say that he had some moral backbone, so he was obviously in the wrong business.

The acting was top-notch across the board and I quite liked the realistic cinematography - no beautifying filters for this drama. I think the drama passes one important test - I will re-watch it in the future for sure. Mind you, the drama requires patience and close attention. However it's very rewarding.

Usually, I avoid dramas that don't end on a positive note. Like, life is full of bad things, I can avoid them in my entertainment. I couldn't avoid it this time because it was airing drama. Still, in spite of it, I liked it a lot and the ending left me satisfied. I liked it more than Luoyang based on the work of the same novelist.

I don't care who is going to win, I just hope Xun Xu ruins all their plans because he always gets a shorter stick and gets hurt due to everyone's scheming. He's the most honest among them.

I was right, it did got crazier from there! All the scheming, double and triple crossing? It makes my head spin. And there are only four episodes left!

I finished episode 17 and the drama has gone insane. I should savor the remaining episodes but I'm afraid I'm just going to binge them instead because every episode is more interesting then the last. Will it end in tragedy? I hope not, but...

This is the first Chen Kun's work I saw. Any recommendations from the comment section?
Thank you, I hesitate with the Phoenixes because 70 episodes is a lot to invest into and not get a good ending.

I really liked how Chen Gong made away with Mi Chong after his river plot was averted. Talk about quick thinking.
