Title La Pluie
Tai needs no confirmation regarding his feelings, he already made his choice. Patt questioned his love for him,…
You talk like Tai & Lomfon had a history together, like Tai owes him something, which would explain Tai needs to give him closure. But they don't, they're not even friends, they met like 4 times. Lomfon never revealed his feelings, Tai didn't even know it until his friend told him to be careful. So why would they need to talk about it? Why should Tai accept a date with him and wait for him to confess in order to turn him down ?
But let's say you're right and that was Tai's plan, why did he lie to Pat about meeting Lomfon? At no point in this series Pat was described as jealous or violent so why are you painting him as such? Pat has always been portrayed as being calm and understanding. They dealt with the "Nara misunderstanding' calmly (though Tai overracted by going to the mountain alone). Pat could feel Lomfon had a crush on Tai but he did nothing, he even kept calm when Lomfon told him about his theory. Until today's episode, Pat never gave Tai a reason to be afraid of him, so he's completely responsible for his own behaviour. He fucked up on his own. And then he doubled down when he refused to explain his actions to a very confused Pat. Saying "I love you, let's talk later" isn't a valid answer to give to your bf whom you lied twice.

Tai’s character kind of frustrates me sometimes. In this episode, he lied TWICE about his plans on Sunday and…
Thank you! I thought I was the only one understanding Pat.

You forgot to explain why Tai lied to Pat 2 times, why did he go out with Lomfon knowing the guy likes him and may confess his feeling for him? Why Tai refused to explain his actions?

I like everything about the first 9 episodes. Ep10 has one of the best scenes but I didn't like the park scene…
3 - Pat didn't lie to Tai to go out in the forest with Nara. Pat didn't even know she was at the camp.

That was a mess, I'm a mess... Don't know why I'm so invested in this series.
I'm so pissed at Tai I want to slap him! Way to destroy a character! I can't stand liars. I can tolerate some shady behaviour but lying is where I draw the line.
I guess Tai was trying to prove something (a theory about soulmates?) but he should have explained it to Pat. Explained that even though they're together now he still has reservations and needs to prove they're really destined for each other.
The whole silent treatment was bs. I was so disappointed I wanted Pat to break up with him instead of begging for an explanation, for Tai's reassurance.

I liked seeing Pat being all over the place, it's a nice change from his Mr Perfect persona. Pee acted so well, I felt his anger, confusion and despair intensely. After 2 years of being ignored, the poor guy finally meets his soulmate, makes the relationship official, sleeps with him and then sees him kiss another guy. Who wouldn't get mad? Who wouldn't press for explanation? Sorry, but I'm on team Pat here. He deserves better.

Poor baby Tian, I'm so sad for him. I don't even want him and Lomfon to end up together. Who wants to be second choice?!

I don't know if I ever screamed that much watching a bl. I ate so much I'm full.
I was worried about tame kisses but they went full on with open mouth kisses and NC scenes. No hesitation, no awkwardness. Damn! I'll be watching this on repeat until next week episode.

I think his savior must have been Tian somehow, but L thinks it was Tai. (Did they show Tai with a similar keychain?)
I think so! I really hope it's Tian. I think the keychain might be Tai's but Tian borrowed it that day. That would explain why he doesn't remember it.

Really. He's annoying.

I can accept many things but not the virgin maiden act: the guy you've loved for a decade loves you back and you don't jump into his arms when he confess?! You don't kiss him?! You even recoil everytime he comes close?! What is this, kindergarten? Even 5yo kids are more demonstrative than that!

Today episode was quite a filler but I love the second half of it. I appreciate the backstory cause it fleshed out Phat's character and indicated that Phat & Tai were destined even before the soulmate thing.
This series could have been great with better directing. Yet I really like it and can't help loving Phat & Tai. They're so cute together and their skinship feels real.
The plot is messy but it's entertaining and keeps you guessing about the whole soulmate thing and Lomfon's unknown savior.
I'll take a series like La Pluie that tries something new over the multitude of plain bls we get every year.

I think I liked the mock trailer better. *ducks*This looks very low angst which I'm not necessarily complaining…
I agree. I expected more angst cause I thought Jung's character wouldn't confess soon. But the new trailer is full of saccharine. It seems they will understand their feelings for each other quickly and will spend time being lovey dovey like in SIMM Our Skyy episode.

Nothing to do with race. Your comments are wack, rude and you're talking as a know-it-all. We've all been to school, I'm sure many of us are highly educated and have high paying jobs. Yet we're not talking shit about people and their preferences. You're not smarter than us so come down from your high horse.
And as a 38yo black woman, I despise people like you who play the racist card. Fix your personality instead of blaming others.

In the novel, it didn't happen. Pat rejected the promotion and Jeng's friend talked some sense into him. The man…
He's down bad 🤣

I dont think the character is nonsense, I like a slow burn, and i dont have an issue with his reaction as subordinate…
"in a slow burn you generally want to leave a trail or sprinkling of potentiality..."
Throughout the series there have been many scenes where we've seen Pat looking at Jeng with admiration, seeking his attention, wanting to spend time with him etc. And let's not forget that when they met Pat was smitten, but as soon as he learnt Jeng was his boss, he shut it down. It's clear Pat reciprocates Jeng's feelings but he doesn't understand it. Like, in his mind he can't be in love with his boss.
In this episode, Pat rejecting Jeng is a defence mechanism: he's insecure, he's immature, he can't understand why Jeng loves him, he's still hurt about Put. He doesn't want Jeng to hurt him (Jeng has the capacity to hurt his feelings but also his career).
I've seen many easy-to-understand characters that acted OOC for the sake of drama, but in SBS I can't fault Pat's characterization.

I hate this comment section, it's rough 😭Anyway, I can't believe we got Jeng sobbing about how much he likes…
I swear I don't understand the hate! It's baffling. I'm thinking it's because people don't like his face so they're masking their shallowness by hating on the character...
