Yeah I’m starting to get bored as well. I really like this at first but I’m a bit disappointed with the phasing…
I can tell you Theo didn't get a character development, he got worse...
As for Kluen, I'll never like him. He can now be the perfect boyfriend to Dao and I'll still not like him because they killed the character for me. I could understand the difficulty to confess his love but several times he had opportunities to come clean about his girl friend but he didn't, he even prevented his friend from explaining the situation at Sean's birthday! He knows Dao still likes him but tells him to go out with Phoon! He knows he's hurting Dao but he prefers to stay in his comfort zone. The guy doesn't make sense. I'm sorry for Joong because his first character in GMMtv is badly written.

oh then you might wanna stay away from Secret Crush on You. The childishness of that one will have you ripping…
Where did op say anything about watching SCOY? Why critizice the series out of nowhere? SCOY has childish but likeable characters that act mature when it's needed, unless Theo who's a brat from start to finish. I don't know if op has seen SCOY but they shouldn't be talked out of doing so because of your gratuitous comment.

He is totally unlikable. I put him with Theo in the league of awful characters from Gmmtv lol.

Dao already explained in EP 4 (Q&A portion) that he will not choose a person based on appearance or personality…
What's got to do with sexual identity? Is a crush different when it's about 2 guys? Compatibility means we click together, either because we share same interests/hobbies or we share same values, same humour etc. Sometimes, it's not even that, you just feel this connexion, this sexual tension lol so you want to explore it.
I had a crush for a guy in high school. Contrary to Dao, the guy was my classmate and friend for 2 years. I was so infatuated I sometimes couldn't look into his eyes. At that time I was a tsundere so it was hard for people to know what I was thinking. I never confessed. I've met him several times after graduation, I still liked his face and his humour but I wasn't thinking like "oh my god, I love him, he's the love of my life" though I could have because I actually had a relationship with him, I had a lot of good memories with him...What Dao and Kuen had together?
What I'm saying is they're selling this love story like it's so grand but it lacks foundation, for both of them. Anyway, to each their own.

It seems to me people talking trash about Toh weirdness and saying the show is glorifying problematic behaviour aren't watching the series with eyes and ears open. Toh's issue has been adressed and explained several times (his low self-esteem and his fear of abandonment). His friends even set up a plan so he'd stop hoarding. Of course in real life he'd need to go to therapy but have you ever seen an asian bl character in therapy? He wasn't a threat to Nuea or anyone else, he's not delusional and he knows he has to change. Apart from this freaky behaviour, he's funny, honest, very kind and loving.

Nuea's reaction to finding Toh's secret isn't strange to me because Nuea knew Toh was "stalking" him, he even joked about Toh having lots of photos of him. He's aware Toh has many quirks, and he loves that about him. Actually I would have been surprised if he had reacted another way, it would have been inconsistent with the writing so far. The couple's conflit was never about Toh stalking Nuea but rather Toh's hoarding habit. I love how they played it : Toh's insecurities ("I'm not good enough, he'll leave me soon"), which manifest as a hoarding habit, are causing insecurities in Nuea. So now Toh has to heal, has to gain confidence in himself and in Nuea's love for him so that Nuea can be at peace and their relationship can endure.

NueaToh is now one of my favorite BL couples. Not only because their chemistry is 100% but also because their relationship is healthy (yes I said it) : no useless miscommunication, no over the top jealousy, no violence... They always communicate what they feel and what they want from the other and they aren't afraid to show their vulnerability. That's mature and refreshing.
I'm so fed up of BL couples acting childishly for no good reason that I need to praise series that portray lovers acting like actual adults (*side-glance at Cutie Pie, Star In My Mind and past BLs that infuriated me lol).

Ok but what compatibility? In high school they didn't spend time together, they never talked. Now in Uni, they've been hanging out for like 1 month, but still Kluen rarely shares what's in his mind, what he likes etc. Is this enough for Dao to cling to this crush and call it love? The show is written in a way I can't get into it, I'm not invested in their romance.

You know what I love about Toh? That slow grin when he looks at Nuea like he wants to climb him like a tree, eat…
Same! It's such a mischievous grin. I laugh everytime he does that. I love him 100% : his flaws, his innocence and his lust for Nuea lol. I've never seen such a character.

Infuriating series. The acting in some scenes is wooden (from both actors) and the storyline is all over the place. They went too far with the miscommunication, so much so that the conversation between Nua and Kluen don't really make sense. You don't need to be an expert in love to understand that refusing to be honest will cause misunderstanding and heartbreak to your loved one. His excuse was laughable.
Also, he needs to stop kissing Nuea when he wants him to shut up. Instead of answering honestly he kisses him without consent to make a point. That's not cute nor sexy.
Kluen is, withTheo, one of the most unlikable main character I've seen from GMMtv. I'm dropping this.

As a doctor you'd think Prakan would know he's not God and can't save everyone. But he's acting like he's fresh out of school, like it's the first time he's lost patients. I could understand his thinking the first time the reaper appeared but it's been 7 episodes of the same discussion : "don't take my patients, I'm a failure I couldn't save this person, what's the point of being a doctor...". It's tiresome now. They should focus on the main plot (the past relationship between the reaper and the doctor and how the reaper died) instead of recycling the same conversation!

Hang on everyone. Imma be mean for a second. Because I feel like it and it's been a wild ride and somehow this…
Ahahah I feel you. I swear I don't know why people can't see a shit show a miles away. After years of watching every kind of dramas I only need 1 or 2 episodes to see the script flaws and predict how bad it will be. And unfortunately I'm never wrong.
I dropped Cutie Pie after episode 1 because I couldn't wrap my head around the premises, it seemed so stupid and unecessary ("drama for the sake of drama"). People told me to wait, told me to read the novel... Even my sister who's easily entertained has nothing good to say about the series lol.

Kluen's character is so disingenuous:
- He never answers honestly. He either evades the convo or serves platitudes. I rolled my eyes when he said "what is not mine I will never take, what is already mine I don't loose" or something like that.
- Definitely wants to be around Nuea, to know more about him but keeps his mysterious persona.
- Wants to know if Nuea still likes him but he asks him while Nuea is drunk!
- And most of all, he doesn't explain the situation with the girlfriend.
They're making him so mysterious just for the sake of creating miscommunication and angst.

What he said to Phoon implies he knew about Nuea in high school, I mean before Nuea confessed to him. I'm sure they're gonna tell us he liked him too. That's cute and all but it would still not explain why he's being secretive.

Anyway, the series is cute but frustrating. It's a good thing it only has 8 episodes because the script is thin as paper...

Why couldn't this be 12 episodes? 😭
Because the script is thin like paper? This series reminds me of FUTS which had more episodes and suffered from it. 8 episodes is enough when there's no real intrigue imo.

Ok series with a cliché and old school storyline. Nothing intense or funny but it's a good watch.
The acting is ok: Dunk is doing good for a newbie but Joong is a bit stiff though I can understand since it's not that easy to play the cold & silent character without appearing wooden.
However I must say I don't like Kluen. The appeal of tsundere-like character is lost on me after decades of watching romcoms and reading romance novels. It was fun when I was young but now I found these characters annoying. All this angst could be prevented if Kluen was real to Nuea.
First, when Nuea confessed, what kind of answer was "have a safe flight"? Like come on, there was only two ways to answer that: "ok but I don't like you" or "I like you too but you're going abroad so there's no point starting something". You just don't ignore the confession!
Then he's blowing hot and cold on Nuea for no reason. Well, some of you argue he's not being upfront because he doesn't know if Nuea still likes him but I'd say if he wants to know why not ask him or openly show his interest in him? His attitude feels childish to me.
