Oh no, episode 6 was such a let down! Why did they feel the need to add this manufacturated conflict when AthipPoon barely got together? Poon's actions make no sense this episode. He didn't do his job proprely, yet he didn't expect disciplinary action. Some customers got food poisoning because he didn't manage the team correctly! Any other chief would have been fired. The fact that he's angry at Thip for the sanction shows that he indeed (subconsciously?) thought he wouldn't get punished. Then, the biggest wtf: he went to the competition. I was on board with him when he decided to reopen his stall during his supsension but why would he work for the competition while still being employed at Athip's restaurant? Who does that? It was stupid and disloyal. I did like this series, despite its flaws but I can't deal with characters acting OOC and stupidly.
I'm not sure how things are done in Thailand, but when a person leaves a position, it becomes the responsibility…
Poon is the new head chef, he replaced Mayom IIRC, so it was his responsability to manage the team accordingly. And if he couldn't do it then it was his responsability to warn Athip. Mayom even apologized for not doing the handover with Poon, implying that it's Poon's job now to redistribute tasks. Athip is CEO, he's not working in the kitchen so it's definitly not his fault Poon didn't do his job correctly.
The plot is all over the place. The series doesn't know what it wants to be : a fluff romcom? a thriller ? There's not enough time to add a jealous roomate and a stalker. I could have done without the female character since the subplot related to her doesn't bring anything interesting.
This MDL comment section vs. the YT comment section is like two different worlds, it amazes me everytime 🤣
I've noticed YT comments are always very positive to the point of being ridiculous. I never see negative comments. It's like people posting there have no critical mind...
I liked this a lot, but I think it could have either been 12 episodes or things condensed and more room made for…
Seng is wonderful! Lot of people are praising Billy but for me Seng was the revelation. You have to be great to act a character like Toh and still make him likeable and funny.
People are really hard on this show - is there some underlying external reason I'm missing?I get why the secondary…
I think the issue is the directing. It is boring and slow. With a common story like this, you need to add some spice to make it entertaining: a bit of humour, a pinch of dynamism or some originality in the directing. Plus & Minus lack all of that.
Who is the writer of this series? Hahahahaha it's so hard to like this series wherein we all know the story is…
Thank you! Some people should really raise their standards. They're excusing and buying into every crap series. There's no excuse for writing a bad series where characters actions are unrealistic and unecessary. It's ok to adapt a novel into a series but you should improve the storyline!
Nuea is being overdramatic. What he feels is not even love, it's most likely a crush, because you can't just love…
According to the novel, in high school, Daonuea was doing Kluen's art homeworks. Kluen found out and became aware of Dao. That's how he "felt in love with him". When Dao confessed to him, he was already in love with him but since he doesn't know how to communicate, he blurted out "have a nice flight" instead of answering proprely. I agree they made Daonuea overdramatic since episode 5. He acts like Kluen is the love of his life when they don't even know each other that much.
It's because of P'New, the director. He's not good imo. He just adapts novels into series but doesn't improve…
You're right. I shouldn't be so critical about P'New. I guess at this point I'm biased against him because I don't like his works (except for LBC). Of course, writers should also be criticised but let's be honest, thai BLs are mostly adaptations and they seldom deviate from the novels. So, if the writers don't do their job, I expect the directors to give their inputs and add their personal touch. We've seen that for example with P'Anuch (Not Me) and P'Aof's works so it's not impossible.
The fact that this has the same rating as I told Sunset about you is a crime against humanity.
Don't worry, the score will go down when the series ends. Usually people change their initial score after completing the series. It doesn't even deserve a 5/10.
Same. Phoon is nice, honest and communicates like an adult. Kluen is a moron.
Read my comment above where I said they trashed his character. Also I didn't say he was perfect... I guess I dislike Kluen so much I'd take Phoon over him lol.
