I only love To My Star, Light On Me and now Semantic Error. I know WYEL is popular but I couldn't connect with the story and the characters. Tasty Florida was nice but they ruined the ending. Korea is producing a lot of BLs nowadays but few of them are quality. I'd rather have 3 or 4 good dramas a year than 10 forgettable dramas.

Ah finally a great addition to Kbl since To My Star and Light on Me! I'm loving the storyline (I have a thing for enemies-to-lovers plot) and the acting. I also love that they took time to present the characters personality and set up the conflict. This is already so good!!

What did I just watch?This is so bad! Korean bls have original concepts but they lack in the execution. They still don't understand they should prioritize tight and efficience script (characters development and consistant plot) over substance: the cinematography might be great but we don't care about slow mo, kpop bgm, flashbacks, cliché scenes, cartoonish vilain etc. There's no time for all that with a 10min episode!

Cutie Pie has just started, it was ok. As for Not Me, I don't really care about it (I can't get into it).

I'm glad I kept watching this series because it got way better from episode 4. All the couples are interesting in their own way. The acting is good. I especially like that the screentime for the 3 couples is fairly divided (that's so rare in BLs, though My Engineer did a pretty good job). Since Bad Buddy, it's the only series I'm waiting for every week.

If you want to compare, Aii is nervous/anxious and Fah is stiff. That's not really the same thing.

Hira isn't even a stalker. Obsessed maybe but I wouldn't call him a stalker. Toh is so much worse lol.

Episode 2 was so funny! I think the title Secret Crush On You also pertains to Nuea. The way he acts I'm sure he has a crush on Toh! That's why he's not put off by Toh antics. However I feel he's not ready to make a move; he's like toying with Toh, maybe waiting for him to confess ?
Anyway, this series is fcked up and the cringe level is unprecedented but I'm having a good time watching it. I just hope we'll have some serious conversation to develop Toh's character and give depth to their romance.

Thank you!! Do you know how long Kuea was abroad? I understand the plot about Fake Kuea but it would have made more sense if Lian and Kuea had been strangers, if they hadn't grow up together. You would think they would have known each other enough to be honest in this relationship. So I wonder if Kuea went abroad when he was a kid, which would explain the situation.

There's a video on GMMtv channel where ForceBook are on a date in their old neighborhood. You can see Book has some pimples or scars around his nose. Maybe that's what they're trying to hide.

Because they really wanted to try our patience with this harem plot, so they made them main role. You know, so we wouldn't guess AkkTheo is endgame :-)

There's no need to have something romantic between them; they're childhood friends. Todd knows him like no one else; That's enough to make it difficult for Black to kill him.

Not bad, but I expected more. I couldn't get into the first episode. It took me 1h to finish part 1... Yeah, I have issues with episode 1 :
- the cinematography is great, quality movie for sure. Everything is pretty...maybe too pretty? It reminds me of Enchanté where Theo's skin is so smoothed out it's almost blurry. I guess I prefer a more natural style, more realistic. I don't need everything smooth, colorful (red and orange hues) and bright...
- while the series is pretty to look at, I think the execution is quite too common and outdated: the useless intro monologue (please thai directors, stop with these intro!), dizzy cuts and transitions, some comedy moments felt like early 2000's kdramas (e.g. Kuea imagination at the restaurant)...
- the whole Kuea's fake personality. I mean, what is this about? Why and since when Kuea decided to act submissive to Lian ? Lian and Kuea are childhood friends, they're supposed to know each other so why Kuea thinks Lian wants an Anabelle ? Lian knows Kuea is faking with him so why not confront him? This situation is supposed to be funny but I find it ridiculous. I hope they have a very good explanation for this.
That being said, the acting is good. NuNew is doing good for a newbie and Daddy Zee is delicious as usual. Hope to see more of MaxNat next episode because I didn't get their relationship.

I agree. I'm not interested in following crazy rich characters, even less when they're acting cold and too serious.
Also I don't get the plot : why Kuea has a secret life? I would understand if he lied to his parents but why being fake with his fiancé? Did Hia ever make him think he wanted a submissive husband? If Hia knows Kuea is faking it why does he let him lies and acts fed up with him? The whole plot is strange and pointless.

Many of us guessed who Enchanté is (or have been spoiled) so there will be no surprise. Unless they decide to not follow the novel, but I don't think so.

I really like Akk. Poor guy is hurting his back carrying the show. I wish the character was in a better series. Theo is boring. I don't need him to be eccentric but he's bland and passive. I'm not even going to talk about the 4 enchanté because I don't care about them or this predictable plot.
