I completely disagree with you! I'm still at the beginning of the series, but QiQi's character is truly indefensible. I only need to ask you one question: if you had a friend in real life where you had to constantly put in all the effort to maintain the friendship, but they could easily cut ties with you just because you weren’t their only friend and showed toxic behavior, would you still continue that friendship? Wouldn’t you feel hurt and frustrated? In reality, people like QiQi are neither understandable nor forgivable. Many people grow up in even worse family environments, but that doesn’t mean we should blame 100% of their toxic behavior on their families. As human beings, we all have the ability to think and make our own decisions.
I don't know why some people are so insistent on bringing the female character down and nitpicking every little thing about her. She's just a realistic and ordinary person; characters don’t all have to be extroverted, do crazy things, or have some kind of out-of-this-world boldness! Many of us are like Shen Xi Fan in our daily lives, so does that mean we’re all boring or incompetent too?

I really don't get why the comments here are so full of hate toward the female character and nitpicking her every little action. Shen Xi Fan is just a normal woman with the struggles of a 27 year old who recently got out of a toxic relationship! I hope you understand how hard her life is right now and how difficult the decisions she has to make are.
It's good we got a drama like this. We could watch it at night and it helps calm our mood from hectic activities
