It was really cute and funny, but it's not something I really loved. I know better dramas in this genre, so... I can't say it was masterpiece. But it is nice, that's it. So if you want drama, where story line has typical cliche like main point, you can try this. This is really innocent and cool and also you will see the Minho. That's probably why I watched it.

To The Beautiful You was one of the first dramas I ever watched so I have good opinion. It was really nice how I said before.

Also I apologize for my English, I don't have a good knowledge in that.

insane beginning, but still one of my most favorite dramas of this year

My first reaction to this drama was exactly like „uh, what the fuck is this?“ I know I am really girly. My second reaction was very similar to my first, I am not sure but I think I said „excuse me, I am drinking coffee, why are you vomiting your food in front of me?“

Okay, jokes aside now. I was shocked and scared but also interested in it at the same time. And the male lead was so attractive that I couldn’t breathe, let’s be honest. You should know it.

This drama has meaningful story for every watcher, the meaning of this story can be different for everyone. For me, It’s okay to not be okay is about hardships and about looking for your own luck which sometimes can’t be easily find. Also there is included mental disorder which perfectly completes the story – mainly because of this is described in correct way. I am glad the producers now include these things, it's important.

We have here characters who aren’t only people with no background (I am a person who totally loves stories where characters had an interesting development or maybe the past which changed them and is still in their hearts and minds), this is very well done especially because of the mental disorders, ambience of mental hospital and totally impressive story which will touch you, make you cry and scare you at the same time. The characters are telling us their stories the whole time, also we can have a look on stories of secondary characters and that's a thing I really like. Their lives aren’t nice at all – and that’s the purpose, we should realise every person has his nightmares and we shouldn’t judge them because we are the same. Every person is afraid of something or someone.

Everyone can fool you in every time, we are humans and we should be humans. And if we are weak, let’s stick together. Maybe this is the thought I would like to highlight. Okay, I am starting to become psychologist, let’s change the topic, this is not good for me.

I cried, I was in shock, I had goosebumps, I love the story which scared me at first but in the end it gave me so much. The story is really thrilling, the story line can change in every second, it’s sometimes really unpredictable and I am living for it. So if you are looking for something you will not want to turn off, this drama is a perfect choice. It is a mature story, some things they won’t say to you like you are a totally dumb, you must to find out. I really apreciatte it, I was gluted of stories which are so easy, I wanted something more mature and this drama gave me exactly this.

Yes, there were plots which were easy to decipher them (can I even use this word? I am not national speaker so still I have problems with english), but that THING in one of the last episode. I won’t spoiler but I WAS SO SHOCKED, I KNOW I AM DUMB BUT I DIDN’T EXPECT THIS TYPE OF TWIST, REALLY. EVERYTHING I WANT TO SAY. I AM SHOCKED. THIS WAS SCARY… okay, shut up, just watch it!

The actors did amazing work. Kim Soo Hyun now, that’s one thing, I am obsessed with him, but I should take off my hat in front of everyone. I am amazed, I know nothing about acting but this… in my opinion, if watcher is amazed, the actors really did good job. And chemistry between main leads... is that even possible?

Ending of this drama was perfect, it totally suited the situation although at first I was a little dissapointed but then the true light appeared, so don’t be dissapointed, there is no reason for this feeling at all.

So it’s clear I recommend this to you. This is definitely one of my favorite dramas of this year, I hesitated a quite long because I still wasn’t sure if I was ready for this drama but one day I said I had have to try it because it will be probably my cup of coffee. And I was right. Although it scared me at first and i was saying things like „this is insane, my dear, it is“, but the scenes from beginning… just suits this story perfectly. It has a lot to offer, mainly because of the idea and thoughts which this story shares with us. Thank you so much for creating this. Go watch it, I believe you will love it!

And some fun fact at the end of this frickin weird review which I can’t probably call a review. But it’s okay.

I was thinking during 16 episodes who is that guy who appeared in episodes 3, 4 and 16. Really I was thinking about him for the whole time but I was too lazy for finding out who he was. When I was watching episode 16 and he appeared again, i stopped it and went on mydramalist to search. Then I finally found out that I had known him from Love In The Moonlight and I was so proud of myself that I really discovered this information right but then I realised something and started to yell at myself "I CAN‘ BELIEVE I WAS SO DUMB BECAUSE I WAS TOTALLY OBSESSED WITH HIS ROLE IN LOVE IN THE MOONLIGHT. HOW COULD I FORGET HIM?" And according to my research he was acting in My id is a gangnam beauty which I watched too but I totally can’t recall which role he was playing there. I am laughing at my reactions now, be confused is refreshing sometimes.

I know you probably really enjoyed reading my opinion. You wasted your time on my crazy text. And now – go watch It’s okay to not be okay, that’s a command.

It wasn't bad but...

This review probably won't be that long how I am used to write, I don't have many things I want to say (which is weird).

I think it's totally undestandable why I chose this show, I wanted to see BL which will have to be good. I watched 2gether and I didn't like it, so I thought thai dramas probably weren't my style. But two days ago, I was sick and I said something like "ok, let's try some BL, I am tired of myself, I want something where I don't have to think".

TharnType seriously isn't bad show, I liked it more than 2gether, on top of I watched the whole drama which is incredible. It's supposing sweet and nice story about the relationship between openly gay and the boy who hates gays at all. It's not bad but also it wasn't the best, still I am person who wants romance which will be logical and also where the romance won't be too much. This is mainly romance show so still it don't suits my taste. But, yeah, I liked it. Probably.

Chemistry between them was sooo good and probably that's why I like it. I fell in love with Tharn, he is so cute and I like his character. On the opposite side, Type... no, please no, his character was frustrating to me. Can we sometimes have relationship without arguings? Because it's possible in the real life, it is, I want to see it also in drama because I am sure I would love this drama so much!

Some scenes were weird and I didn't understand opinions and decisions of characters (mainly Type, I just don't like his character). But I liked it. This thai bl drama wasn't that bad. So thanks for nice experience.

At the beggining I apologize for my bad English.

Always when I watch movie like this (specifically movie with behind the scenes, which are often so cruel, with thoughts of every member) I always realize one think: I know why I have BTS on my list with top k-pop groups. They share amazing idea in their songs and their creations. It's almost unbeliaveble that we have group like that in our world. And I'm so, so glad for that.

For me their music is really perfection. I have my own lifestyle and positive thinking because I know this is very important for healthy and confident life. And also "Love Yourself" (and having own personality, living without regrets and so on) is an idea I try to share to others. That's why BTS is my blood and I admire them a lot.

This movie perfectly describes situations which take place in backstage and we could see personalities of each member. That scene when Jung Kook was injured I almost cried in that moment. Or Tae with ruined voice... seeing my ultimate bias in that situation was really scary. Their personalities are amazing. I love them. I purple them.

So If you like BTS or only you want to find out who they are, watch this. That's so great movie for everyone who wants to know something about them. (But that's only my humble opinion.)

And I really like sentence which Taehyung said: "I love you more than yesterday but less than tommorow."

Thank you so much for everything, BTS. Really thank you.

Itaewon class is a cradle of all topics and it worth it!

At the beggining, I should admit my reasons why I began to watch Itaewon Class. I have known about this drama since it was airing, but I wasn’t sure if I will had to try it in future. In any case, my great friend recommended this to me and then I found out Kim Dong Hee acts here which was for me really predominant factor because I have known him from the Extracurricular where he amazed me. The another reason for me was also Park Seo Joon who I have met in the Hwarang (which is my nostalgic series although it isn’t anything special).

Although my reasons didn‘t touch story line at all, the story line was exactly what made me to watch this drama farther. Yeah, and of course actors and actresses, romance that wasn’t fluffy and dull, ambience which was just unique and I really want to go to the Itaewon sometime (but I don’t know how I will do it because I live in the heart of Europe, country named Czech republic and that’s why my English is still really bad), topics of gender, different colors of skin, thinking about life in different forms… There was really many things and someone can say that’s why this isn’t good. But exactly opposite – this mix of all topics with great characters and unique story line made this drama extraordinary.

I must admit that before writing this review I read reviews of others. And I freaked out a little bit because of the negative opinions. Again I have different opinion than others, I should be less surprised, I have different opinion almost all the time.

The story has incredibly interesting thought, I liked how emphasis was placed on moral values, which Seo Joon as Park Sae Ro Yi was showing us mainly – his character is one of the most interesting here for me, he compels you to think about yourself and your life and you probably really say something like „he has an interesting view on the world and I think I should live like him“ (but if you are already living like this, you probably won’t say this and your reaction will be same as mine, just you will admire him like character).

In my opinion, the story line is kind of new (or I watched only a few dramas and this story line is actually totaly cliche, what I know, but I loved this), all the time we are wandering in the dark topics, which will fascinate you, melt your heart or often make us cry, and definitely we can’t expect sweet romance like for example in Wait, My Youth. So if the romance is for you main point in the drama, you probably will not be satisfied with this. The story line here serves us romance like the last bite, the moral values, teamwork, hardwork and so on are the main priorities for this plot. Itaewon Class is really good especially because of the thoughts which this tries to tell us. And I love these types of dramas a lot so this is my cup of coffee.

As far as characters, I can mention Park Sae Ro Yi, how I said before, he has incredibly interesting temper and all the time he comples you to be obssesed with his life story. For Yiseo, I probably understand both opinions from viewers, I understand someone doesn’t like her, but also I get why someone loves her. For me Yiseo was like a nut – sometimes I didn’t like her behaviors because sometimes she was obssesed with Park Sae Ro Yi, sometimes her words were maybe too creepy. But I definitely can’t deny that her character was interesting for me. Also her character had nice development (now I want to mention one scene from last episode but I can’t cause I don’t want to spoiler something, so I don’t do that) and I enjoyed that.

Again I must bow to Kim Dong Hee, this boy is amazing actor and again he acted perfectly, character of Jang Geon Soo was fascinating to me the most, although he was secondary character.

Every character won me by something, with exceptions (I don’t like jerks, so sorry, Jang Geun Won). All of them were realistic because they were doing mistakes, nothing wasn’t pink in this drama and I think this is really great.

I have actually only one thing which I didn‘t like and that’s why my rating isn’t 10/10. I didn’t like end’s fighting scene too much – or maybe better saying, I am not a person, who loves these fights, so for me it was too much, but I understand it. Just it wasn’t for me and I believe it could solve in another way. On the other side these action scenes fullfilled the absurdity which I find in every asian drama.

Romance which is waiting for you here is postponed to the background, it is a big plus for me. I am not a person (yes, these sentences „I am not a person“ are my favorites) who is romantic, I watch completely romantic show rarely. So romance here was perfect for me. Also I can say the romance here wasn’t bad like others write in their reviews, I can’t imagine different way of the romance here, the more passionsate love will not suit this story (but it’s only my opinion and we should respect our opinions).

All in all, this review is too long, I definitely can recommend Itaewon Class! I am amazed by this and I think if you want a story which will amaze you with the idea and thoughts, which the story wants to deliver to viewers, here you will definitely find it! Just try that! You have nothing to lose, just try it and you will see if it worth it!

it's just an ordinary story and that's why it's gorgeous

Oh, guys, At a Distance, Spring Is Green is a show which really surprised me and I finished it (so that’s another suprise because these days I am having hard time to complete my „currently watching dramas“). I should somehow warn you – this story doesn’t contain many action, drama or something like… (I don’t even know how I should name it) big boom? Maybe. The thing which matters the most here is ordinary life of students who tries to find themselves and create friendships between each other. And this story takes a lot of time. So if you don’t like stories which flow slowly and you don’t want to see ordinary plots, this definitely won’t be your cup of coffee. Yeah, and one thing we should clear, it is not a BL. But I think everyone would probably think this way when they watched first or maybe second episode.

I am not gonna lie. I found this drama on Viki, when I just didn’t have energy to do other things I needed to do and I actually thought this would have be some funny rom com. Drama which will not give me anything special. Oh man, how wrong I was!
From the beggining, we watch many characters, but the main ones are three. The boy, Yeo Joon, who wants to be loved by everyone because he has problems in his family, the only way out for him is to be popular, but then he realizes he wants to be loved truly. Then the boy, Nam Soo Hyun, who is poor, he needs to work all the time for paying all of his expensives, he is actually very nice, but he doesn’t want to owe something to someone so he only relies on himself and tries to stay away from people. And then our last main character, So Bin, the girl who gives up easily, doesn’t know exactly what she wants in her life, but her probably only desire (and that’s only my opinion) is to be happy and more confident than she is.

What should I say, I really love characters and the vibe of the story. I wouldn’t say that characters are described badly. I know many people assume that So Bin is the most bland character and that she doesn’t have an identity… that’s maybe a true, but if we look at it from another side, aren’t in our lives also people who are somehow bland? Who just don’t know what they should do? They are not happy, nor sad, they are just living something which should be their life. I saw me from five years ago in her. I actually like So Bin’s character because for me she was very refreshing to see – she just didn’t know what was going on with her, she had many weaknesses like her easily giving up thing and many others. So for me this idea was perfect - to describe ordinary life.

Although sometimes you just don’t like the characters you will say "this is a life, girl, you can’t be okay with everyone", so after that you again aprecciate the ordinary story which has a lot to say. I think there is a magic of this drama.

Only thing I just didn’t like that much was a bit of romantic part here (Mi Joo), but I understand what producers wanted to say to us. But for me, this was a thing which didn’t have to be here. However, again, I am here saying, this is a life and there aren’t always things we want to see. Maybe even this part is somehow valuable for me.

The vibe of the story just hits totally different and I am living for that. How I mentioned before, the storyline flows slowly because we have chance to see character‘s developments and because it is slow, that character’s change makes sense.

For acting skills, let’s appreciate Ji Hoon, please. I watched Love Revolution half a year ago and it was very fun. There I got to know Ji Hoon’s acting and I was impressed. But here, he again does amazing job and I am shocked. I can't wait for other dramas with him!

Also I really love music background. There are many songs which are stuck in my head right now and I need to download them to my phone.

I should sum it. If you don’t like slow dramas, this won’t be for you (but I said this thing immediatelly when I started write this review). But if you want ordinary drama, where characters try to find themselves, many amazing interactions between characters, just a bit of romantic line, story which will give you something more, this is really great choice. I am still shocked how good it was.

We're becoming who we are

This drama was great. Really. I enjoyed that a lot, I spend my time with this drama for three long months and I wasn’t tired of it. It is nothing hard for thinking, it’s actually complete opposite.

The story of Twenty-Twenty takes you to teenager’s lives – they are totally ordinary. That’s why it is great to watch something which is close to our lives (at least for me it was like that). Romance in here is only a cherry on cake, because all scenes are beautiful and they have a lot to offer. Plus we have here Chan from A.C.E (and he is just a cutie pie a I love his character so much) and Wooseok (who I admire so much too) in main roles. And I totally love the main actress, Han Sung Min, maybe her acting skills aren’t good for someone but I liked her acting really much. The same goes for Wooseok who maybe plays himself but in the whole drama it looks good and that's important. And Chan is just too natural that it is probably not even possible.

For me Twenty-Twenty was perfect. Although the story hasn’t the most original idea, final form of drama is really good. It is funny, nice and it is a comfortable change because these days I watched action dramas a lot so this one was my escape from them (although I love action dramas the most). This was in short and simply nice, natural, just a story from life. And it had nice though about to become yourself.

I will be honest. I started watching this because of Netlix advertisement and I said something like "yaah, it looks funny actually, I try it". And I was right, it was funny, nice and cute. But I have that feeling only during two episodes. It was fresh, funny, stupid and so on, exactly that type of serial I wanted now because of the quarantine time.

But... really. After two episodes... everything began be bad and cliche. The female lead was ok, I understand her (more or less, not much, but in my opinion she was okay), but male lead... it was too dumb man, he was the typical guy who I don't like in my life, he was so much annoying and awkward. Their relationship was so cliche too. The lead cooker began be nice to our female lead and this wasn't surprising because these plots are frequent in dramas. That fact Hyeon Tae suddenly met Hyeri was again too cliche. I know everything about this story and I didn't watch all episodes. And I don't want to continue this story, rather I will go to watch The Untamed again because this has a sense and it's masterpiece.

I really hate male lead, his character... arg, how can someone love him? Only one normal character was Hyeon Tae, adorable and nice boy, I want him in my life. If I will be the female lead I will choose him of course because he has a brain a he is a sun.

This was just waste of time. I don't reccomend this, I can't do this.

I'm sorry for my english, unfortunately I'm not a national speaker so...

I saw in it something else

Again, I am going up the river of dissapointed reviews. Again, I saw in this drama something else and I don’t regret it. Again, I want to be that weird one and give you my opinion which will be totally confused.

I know I often focuse on psychology of characters, which is pretty basic, but I have feeling that this part of this subject doesn’t take much of our attention. Which I don't like much, maybe. Supressing emotions, communication that no longer works as before, personality problems and more. These are topics I would love to see more in dramas. And yeah, Record of Youth gave me this in full experience, that I was anxious. Maybe I liked it because I saw myself in main characters, maybe. Or maybe not and I loved it for thought which created this story.

Record of Youth doesn’t tell a story about romance which never won’t die, we won’t get many miracles here and also not many dramatic scenes that we are used to from dramas like It’s okay to not be okay and so on.

I can understand why many people don’t like it, second half just hits differently and even though this part of the story gave me headache and I was feeling like I was watching my life crushing, the bigger impression from this show I have. In second half, story turns of, it’s not about a girl, how she falls in love with boy in real life and the same goes for him, we follow life change: Hyejun starts to be more popular and their relationship begins to stagn, it is on place where way out of it isn’t that sure anymore. They didn’t communicate about their hardships and they are with themselves pretending they are okay. She doesn't want to burden him, he does the same. It was amazing watch how it doesn’t work anymore, atmosphere of their relationship got me, not happy anymore, it was just sad and even sadder was how they couldn’t talk it out.

Every character has his space, not much, but has. In the end, yeah, I didn’t get answers on all of my questions, but this is again something, which I somehow like. There were plots which were only outlined, but not finished, still it suited the story so much. Because timing of everything was off and story told us everything is not that easy and it definitely can’t be.

This show definitely has lacks, I admit, but the thought which it gave me was more important. We got a story about a topic that is not discussed very often, I am reminded of "At a distance, Spring is Green", these shows work differently and maybe people are not ready for it or maybe I am just weird, I don’t know that yet. But I love it.

Also big applause for cast, Park Bo Gum gave his best and Park So Dam was fabulous as lead heroine, Heo Hyo was for other people plain, but I saw his internal struggles and again, here we are, with supressing emotions, not talking about it that much. Every character somehow won me over.

I definitely recommend it, but also – you need to have similar thinking as me to like it, it’s a little hard to watch, but worth it.

Feel good and adorable... and definitely sweet (but it's not a problem)

I decided to watch this drama mainly because of one review which I read here on MDL. Girl who wrote it said the chemistry between couple is incredible and also there isn't a second female lead who can turn life of our main character to hell. That's why I gave it try. And I don't regret at all.

It was so sweet, so nice, so adorable. Definitely thing which I needed on Christmas holidays. Mostly during Christmas I watch our Czech fairy tales (we are probably country of fairy tales, yeah), because it's the right time to watch them and they are in TV all the time, really, I mean it, ALL THE TIME. But also I need a drama which I will watch and feel good because of it. Always I need something normal and sweet. And Love is sweet is a good choice (maybe even the title helped me to choose it althought I was saying it's too much cliche).

I don't want to write long review today, so I will just keep it short and simple (I hope so).

This drama is good for you if you want female lead who is not acting like a child and she is going after her dream, I loved her character so much. There is a male lead who isn't arrogant, who is able to care about his girlfriend but also he really seems and behaves like a human and isn't perfect. Plus for it, he is attractive and chemistry between Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai is gold. Also romance here is mature, you won't see many disagreements between them, you can see they live normal life where is also intimacy. Many dramas have a problem with proper kissing and so on, it's like directors are afraid of it. Love is sweet is definitely not this case and I love it!

This drama is also good for you if you are interested in investment banks and economy. There is no much for this plot, yeah, I admit it, but I am a person who study economy and when I saw where this story takes place, it flattered me a lot. Action scenes are thrilling and I especially love one scene in latter episodes where Jiang Jun shows she is intelligent human being. I fell for her one more time.

Although I need to admit, there is a lot of cliche, second couple is not so interesting as main couple (but there were scenes which were gold too!), you can also see there character who really isn't your favorite. This drama worth your time if you want something which is feel good. I love dramas with thrilling plots and also with moral thoughts but sometimes I need drama like this. So if you need it now too or you are more interested in romance plots and you can stand some cliches, you need to watch it!

Yeah... I don’t know what to write about it. In my humble opinion it was really good. I started watching Gank Your Heart because I still couldn’t watching The Untamed (my note: I could, but altought I love it so much, I really needed some pause - I could be a psycho because of it, I really love it). And moreover, Yibo is acting there too so I decided to give a change to it. And I don’t regret.

The story introduces us corners of life where everyone deal with e-sports. Online games became important sport discipline. And although I never expected I can be able to fail for something like this, I completely understand why this was so popular in there. Atmosphere of all competitions, strategies and trainings of every team were unbelievable.

Ji Xiang Kong as main character – I really thank you for that. Finally I got an opportunity to see character in modern drama who ratiocinates reasonably, hasn’t a problem with sacrificing for others, doesn’t hurt feelings of people like idiot (he has a reasons and he can be really desperate in the moment when something like this happens), is able be sad like a normal person. He isn’t typical guy who tries to be the best harsh man in the world. I really like his character. Above that Ji Xiang Kong is strategy genius. Even now I remember that moment when I first saw him in this drama. It was a scene when they were in the final round of competition and he really looked like intelligent person who has a normal thinking and is likeable and so on. He made so good impression to me.

Also Qui Ying had something to offer. She is a nice girl, likeable (I probably really love this word so I apologize… and I apologize for my English too, I’m not a national speaker). I didn’t want to throw her down from bridge (my typical method for characters I don’t like). I appreciate this feeling so much. Only thing which was a problem for me with her was her relationship with her family… but last episodes solved everything actually so now I understand.

Romantic line couldn’t be missed. I must to say I really like this romantic plot (and I’m not so romantic person if you want to know, I like romance only in dramas and also I have an condition that it can’t be cliche, I admire romantic line only if this has something special or it’s just really good that I can't complain about anything – Gank Your Heart is the second option, it’s just good). Romance was nice, their relationship had really good vibe. I liked that sweet romantic line which was murderous from the very beggining and then this had a really big change. During watching Gank Your Heart I was still smiling like a little sun, dramas are only places where I can endure sweet romance like this. Mainly watching Yibo to act role like this was interesting – he was absolutely different person (I know him like quiet Lan Zhan from The Untamed, not like strategic genius). He is really good actor, but I can say this about whole cast from this drama. I really admire perfomances of actors.

I have actually only one problem which mares my evaluation for this serial. And this was a romantic affair with Mi Ya, Ji Xiang Kong's ex-girlfriend. I said all along that if they won’t care about this past romantic affair I will love it more. Unfortunately this wasn’t happened, Mi Ya is a character who is stubborn and she fights for her first love although she knows that Ji Xiang Kong isn’t interested in her. That’s why I can’t like her (the same is for anorectic girl Qiao Xin Xin, I’m so sorry, but she was too skinny that I was teriffied, it’s only my opinion, I’m from Czechia, not Asia and this size is actually really underweight and not okay here). Luckily, the drama solved this problem aka romantic affair really well, Ji Xiang Kong and Qui Ying had difficult times because of it, but it was actually very understandable. And Mi Ya gave peace them in the end. This part wasn’t too blurry but if this won’t be so important for last episodes I would be glad. But I like way which was used for it, it’s really nice ending for their relationship. However, I don’t like Mi Ya, that’s a fact.

I like this drama so much. And I have some notes for ending of this confused review.

Pei Xi had really interesting character’s change and I started to liking him in the end.

Secondary story lines were good and also were ended in the best way.

I was so surprised because of the international part of this drama. We have a competition in there and also we can hear english phrases. And this is really unexpected in the chinese drama so… really interesting experience for me (thank you, Yibo, for your english, I still have one your sentence in my head (This girl is mine), why am I laughing again because of it? I’m a psycho? Already? Perfect!).

Really funny, sweet, elaborate drama. I’m truly glad I gave a chance to this. It was great enjoyment. I recommend it.

At the beggining I must say two things.
The first I apologize for my bad English, I'm not a national speaker.
The second this is really my humble opinion, so please if you like this drama don't be angry. This is only my opinion and everybody has law to share their thoughts.

I chose this drama because I had mood for something in this genre. I don't know why, maybe I was a little tired because of my self-study everyday so I wanted to watch something undemanding. You know what I mean – something I don't have to think about.

So I found this and I started watching... and I finished this at one day. But it wasn't good, I finished it only because of it I didn't want to do something else. And also due the story line went so fast. I liked the speed.

Main plot is too cliche, it is so similar to Fifty Shades if you know this books/movies. And Fifty Shades is focused on BDSM and sexual plot. Addicted Heroin is focused on gay relationship (And I must to say I like BL lines, this isn't the reason why I dislike this) and it has so many similar elements like Fifty Shades. And Fifty Shades is primitive story where everything is wrong. So... because I see similarity in this, I can't like this.

Main characters... I don't know why Da Hai fell in love with someone like main character. Maybe I want better describing feelings, something like that.

I like two another characters more, Yang Meng and You Qi, they were so nice and their plot was nicer for me than the main romantic line. It's a pity they didn't have so much space for describing their relationship, it was really plain.

It was average, but at least it kept me looking at it. I don't think this is so beautiful BL drama. It's a shame.

At the beggining I must say two things:
The first thing is this: I apologize for my bad English, I’m not a national speaker.
The second thing: I really didn’t expect The Untamed will be so amazing. I entered to the story line with zero expectations and I left the story with tears on my cheeks and absolutely amazed.

The story line takes place in the historical China, and to make things worse, there is a pinch of fantasy. And this is true you must get used to on fantasy in this kind of Asian drama. But if you do it, you will love it. I swear. This historical drama is different from the other dramas, it isn’t klasical story line from kingdom, where main topics are fights for throne and unwanted marriages, The Untamed describes place which is more harsh. That’s why this is more interesting. Combination with fantasy is even better! (Yah, I love it.)

Characters and perfomances of actors are the most important point in this drama. This will enthuse you. Especially Xiao Zhan and Wang Yi Bo. I really admire them, they acted in wonderful way, and what is really surprising, is fact both are from Asian music groups. Yi Bo is a member of UNIQ, this isn’t so much surprising, many members are popular because of their acting. For Xiao Zhan, I didn‘t know his group X NINE and also I didn’t know him.

I don't understand this fact, they both are from groups and they both are singers and they both… act so well. Historical dramas are one of the hardest for acting, mainly because of expressions and evolutions of characters. But still their amazing acting was really unexpected. It was perfect and… really wonderful. I bow. And I know I will bow for long time because this is phenomenal.

Also I have a note for LGBT relationship between them which is so gentle and nice. In my opinion their relationship isn’t the main point of this drama, but it is really great and it is so magical bonus for full story line.

The main part of their relationship is primarily strong friendship with each other (which is perfect), there is only a little bit of romance (which looks beautiful and this is the thing I really love). But still I am surprised Asian companies allowed them to acting something in this genre, it’s not habit. That’s a reason why this is a fresh change for drama world. Asian dramas don’t often focuse on LGBT relationships (yeah, exceptions exist and I know many of them, I know, but it isn’t so popular... but this is only my humble opinion). I’m really glad for that they weren't afraid to add LGBT relationship (okay, clearly – they weren’t afraid made a live action for Mo Dao Zu Shi novel). They added it to this drama and it was really fresh and normal. This nonchalance is one of my reasons why I am so happy for this serial. Relationships and orientations are all normal, different sexual orientations aren’t something weird. It’s perfect, thank you for that.

How I said before, this part of drama was so cool. It was subtle, gentle, not exaggerated. That’s why I don’t want to watch anime adaptation. But I want to read a novel because I want to know the first story. What should I say more? It is perfection to watching their friendship with a pinch of romance.

When I will not count Lan Zhan and Wei, I must admit I really admire two another characters.
The first of them is Wen Ning, wonderful character, who maybe I will admire for a long time. The second character is Sizhui, he is so much nice.

But back to Wei and Lan Zhan again. In my opinion, Wei is a great person who manages to sacrifice himself for everyone in every situation. And his character which fights with evil... yah, that is very, very good. I love these types of characters in books or dramas. Lan Zhan is similar to Wei, he has so many life principles in his head. They both of them have experienced a lot and it’s wonderful watching it.

Every moment of this drama is amazing, there isn’t anything what was bad or awful. I really recommend it, maybe I discovered my new nostalgic thing in my life. I have same opinion like my opinion on Yona of the Dawn, so it… really will be my favorite thing.

Camera work is also absolutely great, good job!

Only thing I can say is this: This drama have a so long past story line. And although it’s really good for depicting characters and their past, I wanted to get back to present because I really wanted to know what will happen. But that’s everything. The past was really nice, but also too long. However, it can be forgiven.

The actors are great, really great, their characters in real life are so amazing and I admire them a lot. I have a depression because of this. Thank you so much for this drama!

Everyone lives for Zhou Fei and these heroes

Story about heroes and heroines, justice and injustice, victories and losses, sects, intrigues of Demons, who want to take control of everyone, but also about power of friendships, not giving up and fighting for others in good and in bad. About all of this, and also more, Legend of Fei is. Drama which took my breath away and I would recommend it to everyone who need to live story which has everything. Drama which was criticized a lot, but I found my another nostalgia in it.

I need to be in mood for watching historical dramas. As well as for romance and dark thrillers, I always must to be prepared for that specific genre. So when I was, probably three weeks ago, searching for drama which I would have to give a try and someone reminded me that Legend of Fei was airing, my watcher’s view-finder automatically turned in this direction.

Let’s take it lightly. Legend of Fei is historical Chinese drama with strong heroine Zhou Fei in the leading position, there are many plots around this story which let you go to infinite maze which you can’t escape from. If you aren’t ready for big typhoon of information, in this case, you better avoid this drama. Almost every episode, we get to know new parts of story line and new unfamiliar characters. We can see it like pieces of puzzle which slowly fit into the complicated puzzle. As far as story, it’s an insane tangle. Fight scenes, speeches of main characters, which will stuck in your memory, dramatic moments when you will pray that everything will turn out well, only a few times, like a sweet dot in this tough story, romance appears here when we can watch our main characters how they are able to sacrifice for each other and fight against destiny (and how it will end, you can check out yourself, i am not spoiler box). Everything waits for you to discover it and enjoy it.

Story is thrilling from beggining to end. I had problem only with two episodes which I didn’t enjoy too much but I still don’t know why it was like that, maybe my brain stopped to understand this story line’s tangle (or maybe I just didn’t understand because of English, it’s not my national language so that's possible). But story line doesn’t lack tension, it has everything what it should have. One part actually looks very weird (I don’t want to spoiler), someone would think it is from another universe. Maybe it was only because of that moment, everything was absurd back then, but I still can’t be okay with it. I need to watch it again. Because of two episodes, which weren’t so enjoyable, and this absurdity I can’t get 10 points for story. But it’s only detail.

For characters… Zhou Fei is definitely great main heroin. Fearless, strong girl, she has own head, she can think and she doesn’t have problem to stand up for others. That’s my imagination of perfect female lead, I am living for her. Xie Yun is Zhou Fei’s associate, they are incredible duo. Xie Yun’s character is impressive to watch, he is funny, nice, but also intelligent and has a lot to offer in his mind. He gives an impression that he has deep thoughs and he carries so much in himself, that’s true. Definitely amazing character and Wang Yibo suited this very well! For romance between them I can say that’s exactly what I wanted and expected. It perfectly suits story line, it is nonchalant and casual, interactions between Zhou Fei and Xie Yun aren’t awkward, they don’t have problem to communicate with each other and solve things together, they aren’t afraid of touching, they fight for each other. It is just totally normal, light, nice, definitely good and sweet pot for this story. These two are just amazing!

At the beggining, I wasn’t satisfied with Li Sheng’s character but this man had so big character development that I needed to change my mind. Now I am amazed by his character so much. Chuchu was fantastic character too, I only need to add her intelligence sometimes, I still see that scene in forest. Yang Jin, Li Yan and Poisoner were amazing duo too, Yang Jin is just a great guy. I also really enjoyed scenes with Phoenix who I found very interesting.

Demons are typical sect which want to destroy everyone and be the first one in everything, nothing much to say about them, but because of them we have almost all plots here and that’s amazing!

If I should say something to actors/actresses, that’s a gold valley. Zanilia Zhao is absolutely brilliant, it was my first time watching her acting, it didn’t take long and I fell under her spell. Wang Yibo does excellent job as well, he captured Xie Yun’s character perfectly! And also others act so well, especially Zhang Xin Yu who played Yang Jin, that’s unforgettable!

OSTs are beautiful, especially Wu Hua, I think I am in love.

Also I want to say something to cheap-looking effects which is thing about which others have talked a lot. Yeah, it was visible in some scenes, editing sometimes looked weird, but otherwise I can’t say that it disturbed me that much, maybe I’m the only one. I know a lot of people dropped this drama because of this and that’s a pity, because story is worth it and I really hadn’t some big problem with it!

Legend of Fei amazed me, surprised me, it joined my favorites and I believe I will watch it again in the future. Honestly, I am in mood start watch it again right now, I know I will notice more details when I will watch it again.

So if you want a story which will catch you, you aren’t afraid of confusing plots and Wuxia is your favorite, go ahead and watch it, it’s amazing!
