Me and trust me many others agree with the fact that DM and JP don't fit. I'm 24 and I am a machine learning developer in the same field as DS , in a country technologically advanced like South Korea and DM and DS were like high schoolers in my eyes till the very end. I was ok with them being together but this drama had a pretty bad story line as noted by the majority of the audience and that has not much to do with the ships but more to do with bad writing

I don't know why the commenters of True Beauty keep saying that the comment section of Start-Up was war or something like from what I remeber it was full of mature people who justified whatever they believed in, no matter what you ship, and honestly I made so many drama chingus here so I am so confused about why they felt so...angry? and what war when the majority of national and international audience wanted the same thing lol

whatever I thought of DS applied to what to thought of DM and they are perfect together for sure. Most people were frustated JP wasn't given a breathing space away from these two because tbh the Jidal supporters were less but JP fans more and all they wanted was his happiness, which clearly he wouldn't find with DM as you pointed out correctly

I did that on Start Up which I dropped at episode 9 and I actually made most of drama chingus there in that comment section ahaha

I agree, people shouldn't assume nobody is enjoying the main couple. Majority seems pretty invested and the progression is not that bad, as long as they end this useless triangle and give SJ his own happiness

that is of course true: everyone is free to interpret art with their own eyes

there is absolutely nothing wrong in liking a character more than other and I don't think anyone need to justify that either. The point being, the majority seems mature enough anyways and wish the SL to have a happy ending in friendship and career but most importantly, out of the triangle. It just gets super weird if people want JK to start a relationship with SJ at this stage of the drama when she doesn't even look in his direction no matter how much SJ does for JK. But that's a small minority I guess

ikr, I think that was away to bring all of them together in one place so that each of them can actually see everything that is going on behind Suho and SJ's hatered, Suho's dad's absolute evil face, JK opening her eyes on communication in a relationship and so on. Once these problems are out of the way, seems like a good time for the next chapter and JK's battle with Soojin

it's litterally the clearest triangle ever. She only has eyes for one guy, which is the main lead so don't worry, you will know since the very beginning
