Heyaaaa beautiful people!!!! 🌈

I'm just your average kpop and kdrama fan who also has an account on stan twitter (the ugly side of twitter). I love listening to music and watching dramas from various genres, predominantly originating from S. Korea. Even though I like many groups, there's only 1 group that has managed to entirely capture every bit of my heart and soul.

My fave kpop girlies are of course the ONE &  ONLY, the FABULOUS, the UNRIVALED QUEENS 🥁*drum roll* 🥁                                                                                                                   MAMAMOO!!!!

🎶"I say Mama~ Mama~ Moo~"🎶(If you haven't heard their intro even once, do yourself and your ears a favor, and listen to it right now! I swear their harmonies will melt your ears & open the gates of heaven 😇)

Mamamoo are an enigmatic quartet with charming personalities, outstanding vocals and mind-blowing stage presence, that will captivate you from the moment your eyes land on them. They are infamously known as 'Believe & Listen to Mamamoo' in Korea. This was an affectionate title given to them by the gp since they sound better live than their studio versions (just watch their live stages/concert clips, you'll get why)! Even though they are a vocal group, they each hold their own in dance, and have dominated the industry not only as a group, but also as solos! Their talent was  acknowledged by their peers, as well as legends in the industry! As if their talent wasn't enough, they're all huge dorks and cuties that bring out the crackhead-ery in each other and make every moment into a comedy show 🤣 They're the whole PACKAGE

Moving on to Dramaland:

I've got about A MILLION shows on my "to watch" list and have only finished a handful of them. With how things are going, I don't think I'll be able to make a dent in my lengthy list anytime soon 🫠

I like to think of my rating system as 'strict' since there's a certain standard I hold dramas up to now that I've been watching them for a while. I love well-made shows with good acting and cinematography but do still appreciate works from smaller productions if the plot seems intriguing. I mostly rate shows based on how it made me feel, whether I liked the characters, or it left an impact on me. That being said, let's move on to the ratings. Anything in the 8.5 - 9.0 range is very very good, only a few things I would've liked being done differently. 9.5 - 10.0 must've really impressed me or made me feel strongly for the characters, message, plot or relationships in the story, with a rating of 10 meaning literal PERFECTION. As for 7.0 - 7.5, it was watchable but only because I abused the forward and 2x speed button. Anything below a 7.0 is just horrendous, I'll either end up dropping it before I finish it to spare myself the low rating, or I power through by rage-watching just to see how bad it gets (which rarely ever happens). 

As for some of my favorite works over these past few years, here's a very concise list of shows & movies that I absolutely adore, and will  re-watch over and over again, or obsess about endlessly!

Our Times   Literally THE BEST rom-com I've seen in my entire life! 😭Makes me realize I should've done more fun things in high school lol	Mood Of the Day My first ever Korean movie 🥹. Also the reason why my standards in men and women are so high.	Your Name Engraved Herein A literal MASTERPIECE. The emotions shown in this movie are just *chef's kiss*. Made me cry a river fr 😭 Gave it a 9.0 cause I was pissed at the ending, but after a rewatch, it's a solid 10.0!	Such a beautiful BEAUTFUL movie! Had so much to learn from this about love, life and relationships. So well done, and so so memorable.

Even though I will watch a drama of any genre, there are some standards that I will absolutely NEVER compromise on! This list of "Things that make me drop a drama in a heartbeat" includes; bad acting, bad pacing/time-skips, non-existent storyline/plot (aka boring), unnecessarily helpless female lead, overly toxic male lead, events or situations go against my morals, romanticizing stalking/forcing/threatening/emotional manipulation etc., sexualization of minors (please get help if u enjoy this type of stuff) and terrible CGI or special effects.
