I didn't like the manhwa but I am here because of my girl Moon Ga Young because I love her acting!!! The direction was also really good and it was hilarious! The sad parts are also well potrayed possibly also because of her great acting. I was extremely angry and heartbroken during the bullying scenes :( I gotta say that the cast is seriously full of good looking people, including the friends, the parents, the siblings and so on. But they are also really cute. I liked all the side chracters. I am a big fan of the actress who plays the older sister as well. I am hoping that unlike the manhwa, this will show positive values about beauty and character development. I am hopeful with the first 2 episodes but I don't want to get my hopes up too much just yet as StartUp was a massive lesson regarding never judging a drama by the first two episodes!

I agree and think that NJH was most definitely trapped inside this bad plot just like the rest of the cast as actors don't get the whole script. I think some people mean that DS is written so unlikable in the second half that perhaps only someone with exceptional acting skills, like some senior actor who is still young looking, could have made him more relatable to the majority of the audience as the writer hoped for. Like I don't think JP was written to be that charming either, if you consider that DS was always written to be the end game. There was no way the writer intended JP to be so charming. As KSH did so much ad-lib, similarly, perhaps someone with acting skills like...say, Kim Soo Hyun could have given DS a bit more personality with microexpressions, like Kim Seonho did to JP. I wasn't among the people who thought DS could have been someone else but I can see why they might be wondering this.
Aww I'm a computer scientist too xx I'm actually working in a startup for AI and machine learning so this drama is basically a badly written fantasy. The world is not roses and flowers like shown here. I wasn't even disappointment enough with the lead but everything apart from KSH's acting, grandma's acting and the colorful direction

I can relate to the female lead of IONTBO. Im a bit extra with fashion but besides that, I am also a harsh speaker who looks at the world outside the box like her.
