I understand where you are coming from but in this situation I feel like she did not even try... You said she…
I see your point, but people aren't perfect, and the fact she didn't try is because something in her mind was preventing her to have that initiative. She probably wasn't even ready to be in a relationship to begin with but went along with her feelings for Sunoh back then. Like you said, he was willing to fight for their love but she wasn't. At the end of the day, when your loved one doesn't want to try, you need to find it in you to let it go, regardless if that's fair or not. Hye Young probably did start of as the new best thing, but don't we all love people differently? As long as she loves him and treats him right, then they are good for each other.
The way I see it is that Jojo's love with Sunoh wasn't really a healthy one for either of them. She couldn't be sincere with him about her emotions and feelings as she was just a confused little girl and he couldn't do anything to heal her from her traumatising past, as he never knew anything about her. And yes they had good fun moments when they dated as teenagers, but 4 years after, that just wasn't enough. From personal experience, I still have feelings for my first love (probably more out of nostalgia now), but I recognise now that after so many years, we could never be in a relationship together because that person isn't a good fit for me and vice versa. This allows me to relate to her as to why even though she can't say why, she isn't able to see herself with him anymore. Ultimately, both Jojo and Sunoh ended up with partners that are better for them in their present selves and I think that's an important message to take from it. Be with someone that brings out your best self.
Eish I completely agree with your review. I was happy with the development before the last episode. Yes, I knew that getting him to have a last minute disease was going to complicate things but they really ruined it lol. They had to go and make my boy a compulsive liar. Ra Ra deserved better. My thoughts at the end were why did he have to come back? I would have been more respectable for everyones development at that point if it turned out he had in fact died from it. He wouldn't have to lie to her once again; his mum wouldn't have to break her heart (that woman should be an actress in her storyline lol) and Ra Ra would actually be with a partner that respected her enough to rely on her during difficult times.
I'm just going to pretend that he never returned and my girl just has a curse that kills off people she cares about. I'm done.
5 years is a long time neither part will be the same when they meet again. It's not 5 months, it's 5 years. I…
At least they had the decency to stop xD Don't get me wrong I loved every bit of this show besides the last episode, even with all the tiny mistakes they did for the sake of dramatic effect. Ahh I'm still frustrated by how it wrapped up. I really hope the screenwriter learns with this experience.

The way they kept introducing "oh we actually met before" scenes was leading me to think that they were going to keep doing that until they were children lol
Totally agree! I felt so betrayed specially in the last episode where I had to mourn his death only for him to come back at the last minute. Did the authors really need to ruin his personality by making him a compulsive liar?
This really is one of the cases where simple is best. If they wanted to kill him off then let him dead. If not, then don't even bother going through all that unnecessary drama.
