Before the review I would like to say, I'm not a fan of ghost romance stories, they are either too dramatic or irritating. But this one was weird in a good way. The whole concept of a guy trying to find his killer, is to be honest a very common plot.
Romance between Mes, a ghost and Than, a human is executed very well. Than suggesting Mes to accompany him, offering to help him to find his culprits was heartwarming. The part where Mes disappears heartbroken and Than desperately searching him, was acted well. The killer was quite predictive but you can just ignore it.
Coming to our leads, SingtoOhm, both of them just slayed it. Singto has grown into a handsome guy and actor ever since Sotus and i hope he achieves great. He playing a cute ghost character was something new and played the character well as always. Ohm was so natural with his acting. A child who finds solace in a ghost and wants him to be with him forever, Ohm was just perfect in his role. I hope he receives lots of love and good male lead ventures in future. I hope both of them can work together again. I loved their chemistry and acting.
Ssing, Gunsmile as always never failed to make me laugh. ChimonGigie were sweet(I hope they are again paired together). Background score was so good, it merged well with the scenes.
I feel it was a new experience in BL world to have romance between a ghost and human(Not to forget it had a happy ending). It a very warm, cute drama which is super underrated. I hope people forget KristSingto for a moment while watching this and give this one a try because it is worth it(I really love their friendship though!!).

I saw the trailer of this and thought it was boring and left. But after few days when it was ongoing, I came across a Insta post from 5th ep and liked it instantly. Quickly opened Youtube and started watching it. I binge watched those 5 episodes and was waiting for Friday to come. Till 7th episode it was fun, cute moments, Sarawat teasing Tine, it was bliss to watch. But I guess after that they just lost charm. Story became repetitive, acting awkward all of a sudden. But was still watchable, few scenes here and there.

Right after the "Will you be my boyfriend" scene, the characters took a 360 degree turn. They felt more like best friends rather than boyfriends. Sarawat suddenly turning into some ignorant freak towards Tine, all the unwanted jealously and many countless things. Tine on the other hand became someone I couldn't recognize. I have no problem with only few kissing scenes or Sarawat patting Tine's head or even the high-fy, I was upset because the characters just abruptly changed their personalities.

ManType were so cute, I literally was blushing when they came onscreen. MilPhukong just felt forced. I really love Drake and Frank's chemistry but I feel they are underrated and their talent is not utilized. Green was so cute, I wish they would have shown DimGreen more.

Coming to the acting, Win being a newcomer did a pretty descent job. His acting was monotonous in some scenes but in other he just slayed it. I know he will improve. Bright was just passive. He had those weird smirks and eye twitching which was not something I expect from someone who has been in the industry for long. I hope he improves and proves me wrong. Supporting casts did an amazing job. I have no complaints with anyone.

Music was pleasant and soothing. All in all in would say its not completely a bad series, only lost its direction towards end but if you want to watch it definitely try it once.

The idea of having 5 BL couples in one series itself is adorable. I'll review it episode-wise and how is it relatable in real world.

Episode 1 - PickRome(OffGun)
OffGun always have the best onscreen chemistry. Their story emphasizes on how we should never belittle other's work. Whatever it might be, its equally important. PickRome getting swapped and understanding each other was best.

Episode 2 - InSun (PleumChimon)
Out of all the couples here, PleumChimon were somewhere lacking in the chemistry. I guess their story teaches us how we should never wait for the right moment to come, whenever we start its the right time. All in all their story was a mess to me (Mike somehow saved the episode).

Episode 3 - TeeMork (FrankDrake)
FrankDrake have flaming chemistry. It teaches how we should always trust any relationship. If there's a problem, discuss it rather than stretching it like a rubber band. I really wish FrankDrake star in a new BL as main lead, they deserve it.

Episode 4 - PeteKao(TayNew)
This episode was PeteKao being TayNew. This episode is how we should spend sometime with our better half and enjoy every moment with them. Rather than giving excuses, just do whatever you want with each other. TayNew have such a natural onscreen chemistry, everything felt real.

Episode 5 - ArthitKong(KristSingto)
Krist was quite relaxed here. This episode teaches one of the most important thing that is, "Never take decision without other person's consent". Being in a relationship is a two-way thing, so everything needs to be shared. KristSingto were as usual good but I felt Singto was a bit tired.

Music was nice. I loved its feel everytime they played the OST. I hope they surprise us with such mini-series.

Could have been better

I read a lot of reviews saying this is similar to Kingdom but to be honest this is nowhere near it. The story was sloppy with no consistency.

It starts with Crown Prince killing himself which was so not needed. The king being this stupid person who gets manipulated easily. Hyun Bin enters the scene to protect Crown Princes' pregnant wife and then all the zombie drama starts.

Everyone starts turning into zombie and few villagers along with Hyun Bin are trying to save the country. Amist all this Crown Prince wife wanted to stay there for some morale which was super frustrating and then suddenly everyone's motto was, "To save Crown Prince Wife" (Eye roll). The same plot used again for zombie theme, nothing new to offer.

All the actors did a fabulous job but I feel this one didn't use their talents well.

Ost was nothing special and definitely not a rewatch material.

Most of the BL have typical story which is focused only on the leads and their surrounding. But this drama just changed my perspective towards everything.

The writers have focused on a very important topic which most of the people face in real life, to come out to their parents and confess about your boyfriend being a boy yourself. The scene where Kao confronts his mother about the whole fiasco is the best. I really loved New's acting there. His expressions were on point.
Pete's character had a good development. He was a jealous, possessive, hot-headed guy but gradually started understanding other's situation. I can understand why he was so insecure about his relationship with Kao. Being in a relationship for 3 years with only 2 to 3 knowing about it, is really difficult. But I never blamed Kao for it. He had his own reasons and was trying to balance his personal and professional life. Pete Kao both were right on their side.

I think we all have Non in our lives, who always tests our patience and its our duty to battle it out with a victory(AJ did a fabulous job. He made me hate him even after having such a cute face!!!). SunMork are one of those side couples which I enjoyed watching. They were cute and I loved Mork's face whenever Sun used to flirt with him. RainManow, our straight couple really flattered me throughout. Supporting cast did a pretty good job(My favourite are Pete's Dad and Kao's Mom. Everyone needs such parents).

Coming to chemistry between couples, everyone did an amazing job but TayNew were on fire. Being friends for more than 7 years in real life did wonders onscreen. They were so natural, whenever PeteKao used to tease each other, I could see TayNew in them. I wish they have more dramas together.

Music could have been more better in some situation but it was overall nice. I just hope there are more such BL where they focus on family perspective without much drama.

The plot is very typical, a girl time travels to the past and gets involved with the kingdom and people over there. Even after being warned, she interferes in their lives and thus causes a chaos. After her death she returns to the present only to know everything she thought of as a dream was actually real.
Now coming to our actors, IU is one of those idols who can act and has done a fantastic job here. There were variations to her character, from bubbly to serious to cute. LJG, I guess the name is enough. His acting, dialogue delivery, everything was mesmerizing. I've become a big fan of him after this. All the supporting actors have played their role well.
Music is too good. All the Ost can be played on loop for hours. I wish the makers plan for 2nd season. This season's ending was too sad. I want HS and WS to be together in future.

Firstly, I am so guilty for delaying this gem even after liking the cast, director and everything.
This drama is one of the best I've ever watched. From acting to direction, everything is just brilliant. I know many have watched this drama for Lee Dong Wook and I am no exception(come on, he is so handsome!!!) but kuddos to the supporting cast for making it even more worth watching.
I was actually surprised with Im Siwan. He has improved a lot compared to his previous works. I hope he continues with this and achieves big.
The only thing that irritated me was Min Ji Eun(Jong Woo's girlfriend). She never really tried to understand Jong Woo. Was always busy with her life and never cared for her bf. Even went against him and thought of him as a crackhead. She was hands down the most annoying character for me(No offense to the actress though, she did a fantastic job).
Music was just amazing. Background scores were used perfectly with every situation.
Lastly i would like to say, if anyone is delaying this like I did due to some reasons, please just go and watch it. It's really worth the hype and you wont regret it.

I started this drama because its very rare for Koreans to produce a BL series. It's usually kinda awkward, lousy acting. But this one is really good. I was astonished with the acting by leads especially HGC considering its his first acting venture. JES has an attractive aura which will make you want to see him more.
Story wise, I feel it was a bit cliche, a bodyguard and master falling in love was no surprise but the way they executed it was amazing. A mediocre story was uplifted with good acting, direction.
The part which surprised me the most was the kiss. I know it's common in BL when the leads kiss, but we need to keep in mind that this was a Korean BL where people have still not accepted LGBTQ community wholeheartedly.
Supporting cast did a pretty descent job. I have no complaints about the length of the drama. I think it was a great idea to keep it short rather than dragging it. Kuddos to the entire team!!
Music played a major role in excelling the drama. In future, if they plan to make a BL, I hope they focus more on real world problems rather than only romance factor between the leads.
