R-rated because of violence. The plot is intriguing but the follow through is underwhelming.Yoon Kye San is usually…
I just wrote a comment that said they were one dimensional lol. I’m having the same problem. I’m only on episode two and I think the plot is interesting, but the writing his poor. Some times when the characters talk I want to roll my eyes. The characters are very basic, lack depth, and seem cut from the same cloth as any other bad guy/good guy in a mystery/thriller, just changed their names.
It reminds me of the drama Extraordinary You. The writer wrote the same characters over and over again, just changed the setting and their names.
I’m trying to watch this, on episode 2. I think the plot is very interesting. But the writing for some reason is bothering me. I mean as in the lines written for people. It’s just very melodramatic and unnatural.
The character are kind of one dimensional. You could drop them into any criminal tv show. There is nothing that really makes them different.
Again, I’m only at episode 2, and maybe that improves, but I’ve watched other mystery/crime dramas that had me impressed from the very beginning.
The last drama I watched of a similar genre was My Name, and this drama is not holding up to it. My Name’s plot wasn’t original, but the writing, the acting, the characters, were amazing. That’s what I feel this lacks. You can have a great drama without a crazy, original plot, but this doesn’t have either.
Haneul role is made way too big for my liking. It is as if everything turns around her and we don't even know…
I agree. The girl could have been charged with assault and theft multiple times and were just supposed to believe she is misunderstood. And like you said, why is so much time being waster on her. I’ve given up.
If you took Thai BL drama’s to heart you’d think the entire country was made up of engineers and architects. Lol. Okay, sometimes there is an acting program.
Hoping this will be better then the Chinese version. I really disliked the ML’s acting and I didn’t like the character either. Some of the things he did were questionable. Hopefully they make a few adjustments to the story, but I find some Thai adaptions are practically word for word. I’d like to see them put their own spin on this a bit. I am looking for to it. I really like the look of the ML’s.
I’m asking this near just because I may a lot of attention to Boun and Prem; but why does it seem like they always make Thailand actors make a music video. While the actors do have some talent in singing and/or dancing, it doesn’t seem Enough for a full blown music video. And I know they do similar thing for fan meets. It’s like they exploit their popularity to the greatest degree, even if they are performing in a way they have not perfected.
I'm usually fine with step-sibling romances, though I do find it a little strange if they've grown up in the same…
Yea I agree. It implies they would have had feelings even id they were related. In the ML’ defense (if you were talking about the same one) he knew before her, but he was also taking advantage of the situation. How confusing did that have to be for her to think her sibling was acting like this.
I feel like we should take all of these and put them on a line graph, like 1-10 of least amount of red flags to most lol. The heirs and boys over flowers are one of the worst. While bong soon and crash landing on you I think less so. As for the instructions that were left for her to follow in crash landing on you, I felt those were more for her protect herself once he had to return. It was kind of what he was good at and she was still in danger. I think it was less about controlling her and more about telling her what she could do to protect herself.
Binge watching does not equate to being a hater. One has nothing to do with the other. Most people wait until…
I think I understand a part of your point. I do get frustrated when people start putting down characters or a show when we know that there will be character development. Especially in a show like this where you aren’t meant to understand everyone’s actions or reasons. You can’t rush to judge a character in a show like this.
Overall, I really liked the drama. I did feel a certain let down towards the last two episodes. Not sure why. I think the excitement waned a bit. I am glad it was only 12 episodes. I know some people didn’t like the character development, but overall I was fine with it. I think we got to know the characters and their own reasons for what they did.
I wasn’t looking romance, but then the last ten minutes started giving me angsty vibes lol. I mean why start making it a angsty at the end?! SMH.
I’m curious is they are considering a season 2. I think they definitely could do one considering they still can’t let their guard down, Ji Hyuk is clearly going back to work, and the relationship of the two leads. Romantic or not, they clearly have made a connection with one another and Ji Hyuk himself admitted that Je Yi, as a supportive colleague, kept him sane and good.

I actually never used the word ‘opinion’.
The fact is, people can watch a drama however they wish. It doesn’t impact your ability to watch the drama. And skipping portions does not necessarily mean that a person will miss or not enjoy a drama. I have skipped a lot of unnecessary plots and character before that if I was forced to sit through I might have dropped the drama.
I just don’t think we should be judging someone wants to watch something.
I love Namgoong Min, I really do. And his body transformation in this show is wild. But somehow I always find myself…
I think his thighs got too big lol. You can definitely tell it’s effecting the way he walks. I watched his episode of Home Alone and he said he couldn’t wear his older pants because he got bigger, he had to opt for more casual loose clothes.
