Korean laws are crazy!

If all of this is really what the penal system is like in Korea, it explains why corruption is rampant throughout the country. Korean Police seem to be treated with no respect and the laws allow it. Their pay is so low they’re practically begging for cops to be corrupt and we all know money is everything there. It’s also always completely boggled my mind how lenient their criminal punishments are. The way the system is set up it’s like their just asking for crime level to occur. Their are some things I like that they’re allowed to do like the leniency they’ve got for warrants. However, were that leniency here in the US, police corruption would be even worse than it already is. I like the way their legal system is setup (judges, prosecutors, etc.) and I love that their gun laws result in many emergency doctors rarely, if ever, have seen and/treated bullet wounds firsthand. I think it’s hilarious how their shows blur out knives but not guns. 🤷‍♀️Oh! And children under 14 not being able to be charged for certain crimes?! Madness! Especially with how bad the bullying is in Korea. Having laws like that in the US would lead to the wild Wild West all over again lol

Gawwwwd!

Why is Sang Su so dimwitted? I guess he’s supposed to be seen as innocent and childlike in a cute way. Instead he just comes across as somewhat clueless and extremely childish for a grown ass man. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike his character. He just irritates the heck out of me sometimes. I don’t see how a strong, confident and intelligent woman like Jeong Oh (or most women for that matter) would be able to see and treat him as anything but a little brother they need to protect, care for and look after. Seriously. Hye Ri also irritates me with her immaturity too though. They both need to mature. And WOW is Yang Chon having it hard throughout this series. His role should be the lead. His life is crazy!

Sang Su is so immature!

OMG I can’t get over how immature Sang Su is! He just continuously acts like a child throwing a tantrum. Other that being cute and making her laugh I truly can’t get on board with he and Jeong Oh ever getting together. They should never be more than close friends, like more of a brother-sister relationship. He needs to grow the hell up!

Somewhat irritated

Even though this is my 2nd time watching this it’s been a while so I’d forgotten most of the details. Fu Pei is an idiot for behaving like she was cheating on him. All he does is make her feel like trash, his reaction included. But what irritated me more is that neither of the leads called him out on his foolishness. He’s repeatedly said in front of both that she wasn’t his girlfriend. At the very least one of them could have reminded him of that.I also have to say though that I’m also disappointed in the FL for not ever properly thanking ML each time he’s taken care of her. Just basic manners people. Doesn’t she realize the disregard she shows him each time Fu Pei finally shows up is no better than how Fu Pei constantly forgets and disregards her?

Seriously?!

Okay I’m so sick of An Xi treating You Quian like crap, like he doesn’t matter. She always puts him last. Couldn’t she have talked to him about giving her 3 days to try to convince Yen Ze, instead of stabbing him in the back like she did? There’s a total pattern of her treating him like crap compared to everyone else. Because he keeps letting her do it too she’s not at all learning her lesson. He needs to walk away and make her chase his ass for once.

Here we go

6 minutes in and I’m already annoyed with the female lead character, Park Kae In. I realize her overreaction when they first met on the bus is supposed to be humerous but they it was just too rude fir me. Clearly you were going to sit on his work and even if it was a toy it wouldn’t have mattered, but it was so much worse that it was his livelihood. He would have been totally justified in suing her for damages.Anyway, after watching more of the episode I’ll admit it has my attention. Definitely interested in seeing how things play out. And yes, yes! That elevator scene was hilarious.Gotta say. That ending was CLASSIC!

Nuh uh, no.

Now I’m pissed at Yun Duo. She’s a freaking idiot and a terrible girlfriend. I seriously thought about stopping watching the rest of this. That’s how turned off I am. But I’m trying to convince myself that I can’t stop after coming this far. It’s really difficult for me to watch now though. It’s the first time I’ve wanted to give this a bad rating. They didn’t have to make her so foolish and weak and suddenly throw away all her principles for that jerk, while also betraying her damn boyfriend.

Lin Zi’s story

So Lin Zi’s story does nothing to make me like him more. He’s just playing the blame game. I realize I keep harping on about him but usually by now I feel some level of pity or understanding of the antagonist but it simply doesn’t seem to be happening with him. I hate manipulative people who always think they’re right and know better than others what’s best for them than they themselves, and who goes so far as to underhandedly try to control their lives using the ignorant excuse of doing so for the person’s “best interest”. Please they’re just controlling assholes. What makes things worse is that he’s been spending so much time with Yun Duo that you’d think he’d have learned and picked up some of her principles and values. But nope. That idiot still didn’t learn a thing. Whoever wrote the scenes for that character had to have the patience of Jesus to do it for this long. LOL!

Finally !!!

Finally, finally, finally! Finally they kiss and get together. Finally she figures out Lin Zi’s lie (one of the many). And okay, her “best friend” really is a piece of trash, but I still hate Lin Zi’s self-richeous ways more. At least she doesn’t pretend to play innocent.

Ughhhhh

I still seriously don’t like Lin Zi at all. I realize they’re building it up so we should feel sorry for him or maybe he more forgiving once his full story unfolds but the way he lies, manipulates and tries to control Yun Duo’s life just makes me sick. Plus it’s not like he behaves that way impulsively. No he does it all in a very calculating and self-rewarding way. Yes, her best friend’s behavior is terrible as well and she obviously took things too far but at least for her it was a pure act of desperation when facing such a life-changing challenge. And at least she she had enough of a conscience to try to stop herself, and she clearly knows what she did was wrong. Lin Zi is just all out a damn liar and doesn’t ever really seem to feel any guilt about his behavior since all her really cares about is getting what he wants. I absolutely want him to get punched right in his face. Hard. Ugh! I wish the truth would all just come out already. With these dang Asian dramas these guys always get let off easy so I know more aggravation for me is forthcoming but at least Yun Duo better not trust his stanky ass anymore.

Ugh, Lin Zi

Can I just say how much I’ve disliked and continue to dislike that Lin Zi/James Lin character? I can’t stand his sneaky, deceptive, manipulative behavior. Even when he does supposedly nice things it’s all calculated. He’s like a nasty stain that won’t go away. Or a tick!

Ummm...steal much?

**Spoilers***I just started watching this first episode and am appalled that no one had a problem with the fact that this chick was basically going to steal that guys very expensive hockey stick! I mean, really. She realized it wasn’t hers and immediately started talking about taking it home and even went at far as fighting someone over it. She had no intention of trying to return it to the owner. How is no one else bothered by her behavior?! That just seriously irked me.

Don’t really care for Gyu Ri

Three things seriously aggravated the hell out of me during this episode. First, if you can use the Find My Phone function you can also disable the missing phone until you find it. That should have been the first thing he did when he realized it was missing, definitely once he knew someone had it and was using it. Second, that Gyu Ri chick is a bit@h. Someone’s calling for help on the dudes work phone and even if she didn’t understand what was going on she didn’t even care to find out and just continued with her sh!tty behavior. I’m glad she stopped herself from stealing his money but the f@ck wouldn’t she stop his dad? Yeah she AGAIN eventually grows a conscience but the kid wouldn’t have lost ALL of his money had she stopped his disgusting father before he could take it all in the first place. Third, how the heck could he be in that business and not know how to properly secure his things, especially that much money. Who in hell leaves someone in their home alone without taking care of that first? In fact, why in hell would he use the same passcode on his personal and work phones and also not change the passcode to his home??? I understand that he’s young but he’s also very intelligent and clearly put a lot of effort into protecting his identity and keeping his secret before. How’d he last so long without covering those basics first? Yeah, they’re starting to lose me now. Okay so watching to the end of this episode I’m not even sure I want to continue. I was really enjoying it after the 1st episode but my severe dislike of that Gyu Ri chick character makes me not even want to watch anymore. I really just don’t know if it’s worth it..

Oh to hell with him!

He broke their trust first and had her reeling from his betrayal which spanned almost a year long of his unfaithfulness. Getting upset about her ALMOST slip up as a result of her emotions going haywire is understandable and okay but to take it to the extent of wanting to separate and end things?! Hard as it might be to do she should have just ended it there and then. He put her through all that and at her first inclination of a mistake he’s ready to call it quits. When he pulled that crap she should have called him on how quick he seems to be to want to throw her away - first with his cheating and now with his reaction to the pictures.

Okay now I’ll admit

I’m actually loving it now. It’s no longer as cheesy as the first few episodes and the humor is actually funny. I love the way the story is developing.
