I've watched a lot of BL series and so far, this is the first time that I got hooked and felt a separation anxiety when it ended. I never felt separation anxiety from any series or movies. But this one really did it.
And despite with the disappointments from the last episode(s), I'd still give this series a 9. To be honest, if not for some of those disappointments, I would give this a 10.
Why? I'm not going to be technical here, I'm not an expert on that. But this series made me feel romantically excited with every episodes. It made all of my weekends (during covid19) less stressful.
Sure, they somehow lost that spark when they were together or showed less intimacy during the last episode, but hey, I'd be betraying all those good feels that we felt when we watched this series if I'm going to give this less than 9.
Bright and Win really did great portraying Sarawat and Tine's characters.
My Favorite episode(s)/Scene(s):
Episode 7 - It's when Tine realized his love towards Sarawat. and that line "You don't need to like me that much. Just keep your heart open for me." from Sarawat.
Episode 10 - everything in this episode about tine and sarawat
Episode 11 - That old clip from Sarawat and the backstory POV of Sarawat is sooo dammmn goood.
Scenes:
- When they watched P'Dim's band and yet they listened to Everything by Scrubb together.
- That scene when they watched SCRUBB concert together and Win sat on the fence while his hand is on Sarawat's shoulder. That felt real.
- All of the "couch" scenes *wink*
- The proposal scene "will you marry me" really got me big time
- The scene where Tine hugged Sarawat and asked about Pam. I felt that.
- That crying scene from Tine really put me to tears. He's really good.
All songs from SCRUBB are sooo daaammn goooood. I'm an instant fan. Although I don't know any thai language but whenever I listen to to their songs especially those songs in the series, I feel so good.
Just like what Sarawat said "You don't need to understand music. You just need to feel it". That's what the songs from SCRUBB really did.
I am really hoping for a special episode and of course, like everyone does, I am also hoping for a Season 2.
I'd still re-watch this from episode 1 and relive all those positive things that I felt from this series . :)
