Can, I take a second here and just say how proud I am of all you fans out there, and this community in particular.
All this support for HJP just goes to show me that, even though our fictional Oppas refuse to grow up, we as viewers have. No longer do we viewers accept what the writer, promotional material, and OST shove down our throats. No longer do we hero worship venerable writers. And no longer do we allow toxicity to exist in our show without pushing back.
While we may have lost a potentially great Kdrama in Start Up, we have gained something far more important. An inner voice that swells up when we see injustice and toxicity in Kdrama.
And for that, I thank Start Up for letting us the viewers grow, even though our fictional Oppas refuse to do so.
Anyone annoyed how SST kept belittling Silicon Valley? Constantly call it boring, no thrills. I guess humility is the one thing they didn't bring back from the US...
After they spent the first 12 episodes talking about the US tech sector as the next big thing, suddenly it's ho hum? too easy? boring?
If I worked in the tech sector in the US, I would feel a little bit miffed. They acted like living in SF in Silicon Valley was torture, while they ride their yacht and sip wine...
In the end the boys of SST are still super entitled. They don't hope and pray that good fortune comes, they expect it... pretty disgusting mindset. Grow up boys!
I hope for everyone's sake, NOBODY try to gain any morals from this show.
I want to just tell all the guys and girls out there. Being obsessed with someone is not love, it's creepy. Girls do not like it when guys pine for them for years, making them their dream and obsession, it's not romantic, it's creepy and borderline stalker-like.
NDS fans are simply secret HJP fans, who don't want to get their heart broken by a Dodal ending, and thus fake defends NDS to help make the upcoming ending less painful.
It was shown in the hidden unofficial time skip summary that NDS mom has wanted to be live a healthier lifestyle, and decides to walk everywhere.
So SDM is a better stalker than NDS? I did not see this coming. I'm devastated...
What a plot twist!
But what does the show decide to do? Increase NDS screen time either showing him in angst or crying. So i'm not expecting much.
You are a stronger person than I, I am not that resilient.

All this does it make her think that her toxic romance formula is working.

Production Assistant: How about HJP?
Writer: Perfect!
