As some of you already pointed it out...I really hate the fact that NDS used the contents of SDM and HJP's letter…
I think that NDS is quite dense. When SDM tells him "your not the Dosan from the letters". I think it triggered in him, then I will be. So he's been studying the letters that SDM wrote to understand how to be more like fake Dosan.
It would be an interesting premise if NDS is the source of the virus. Knowing that when he was younger, no one but him was able to destroy the virus. It would also solidify his manipulative mindset.
Plus it would set up an interesting NDS villain arc.
Plus, I was talking about how NDS hairstyle not changing in the 3 year time skip, may show that he hasn't grown at all.
In the preview scene, both Yong San and Cheul San are sporting new haricuts, with Cheul San even looking a bit more handsome.
Also, I noticed that the preview scenes shows NDS wearing mostly black clothing.
This could be symbolism that we can expect a darker NDS to come back. And I am all for it, it would make the plot a bit more interesting.
There has been one constant on the show. And that is NDS inability to let go of problems. When he sees a bug that needs to be fixed, or a code that needs to be removed, he is very adamant about solving the issue.
My concern is, he is viewing human relationships like this as well. So when SDM breaks up with him, i'm sure he is already devising a way to "fix" the sdm situation.
"From the way I see it, even fairytales like Snow White, and Cinderella had more barriers to their happy ending."Lol.…
SDM and NDS conversation about dreams are way up in the sky.
Their conversations revolved about how they will be the Steve Jobs of Korea. How rich and successful they will be. They rarely talk about the journey, only the end goal.
Interestingly enough, their one proper conversations about real things, is when SDM "breaks up" with him (were they even a couple at that point?!?)
And I think they also had this mentality that they are better than what they really are, which is maybe when offered 3 billion won for their company, no red flags came out.
It's not like they didn't have the opportunity? They had so much time to talk to each other, so so much private time. They even had that god awful phone conversation that lasted for hours. And yet, I get the feeling they still don't understand each other.
NDS is an achiever. No matter what, once he sets his mind on to it, he ultimately wins & achieves his goals.•…
That first line of yours is where I think NDS runs into trouble. "No matter what, once he sets his mind on to it, he ultimately wins & achieves his goals."
For me, just like when they lost in Hackathon, he had to go back and beat the other algorithm. He has this intense need to solve the puzzle.
And for me, although he probably doesn't know it yet, he sees SDM as another puzzle he has yet to solve. And he will do whatever it takes to break the code so to speak. He is going at SDM the same way he would annoying line of code.
The love that SDM and NDS have for each other is very much a honeymoon stage kind of love.
No real conflict to test the relationship. It's still very much high school romance, puppy dog love.
Even by kdrama standards, there isn't enough foundation to imagine the love lasting long.
When the ML, needs to FL to tell him how to make her feel better, that's a bad sign.
I mean geez, look at Cheul San. Saha makes an offhand statement that the deal will cause her sleepless nights, and he borrows recording equipment and makes this video to help her sleep. That's creative and romantic, and the epitome of doing something for a girl that she didn't ask for, but love.
NDS on the other hand, either spies, eavesdrops, and etc... to find out what SDM wants or needs.
NDS: Hey babe, what do you want for your birthday?
SDM: I'll be fine with anything.
NDS: Anything isn't an answer, I need a specific answer, because I don't know.
Honest question. Why do people like NDS? I personally find him grating, but I know some people do enjoy his characters, I would like to understand why, so maybe I also could love him. Maybe.
I would like to hear some logical reasoning.
And no, NJH is so handsome, or he has a nice butt are not good reasons.
uhhmm it’s just Drama guys. why are you so affected by these fictional characters? just watch and move on. lol
Yeah guys, let's talk about what we learned about start ups in Korea instead.
So, apparently in Korea, startups have a CEO, who should own majority shares. Also we learned startups don't have a lot of money and thus need investors to invest in their companies.
It's a disturbing notion regardless.
Plus it would set up an interesting NDS villain arc.

And you know what's weird, in Korea culture, age is such a big issue with them.
The way juniors are suppose to respect Hyungs eventho they dislike them and etc...
I don't hate him :)

And this bothers me.
SDM is not a code to solve, she's a person.

How romantic... Swoon!
Like I mean, English classes near where she lives? NDS lies so effortlessly, and she either ignores it, or thinks it's cute.
Saying yes to every single thing, and seeing the negative ramifications of it, and still ignoring it, is SDM's fault more than anything.
When she found out NDS got into a fight with HJP, NDS completely ignores her, and she doesn't push further.
She's obviously in denial of who NDS is because she's smitten.
Mighty generous of you.
NDS is not broke, he is being taken care financially by his parents.
Ahh yes, he is dumb though, so in that sense your right.
yes because in Kdrama all older people are mature, and all younger people are immature.
I've never seen an immature guy in Kdrama, nor have I seen mature teenagers. Nope, never seen it before :)
I would like to hear some logical reasoning.
And no, NJH is so handsome, or he has a nice butt are not good reasons.
Begin!
Logically of course.
And no mention of how handsome NJH is.
Begin!

Ok your turn.
