The fact that the time skip is happening so early, we basically get at least 3 more episodes of push and pull.

I'd like to give the writer more credit that she knew she wrote a very unlikeable NDS.

i'm rating it an 8 myself. But depends on the next 4 episodes, it could go lower. But presently its a respectable 8.

I find it weird they are pulling all this out as early as EP. 13.

I normally see time skips and the reset button happen much later in the drama, I was thinking more ep 15 than anything.

I mean even if they show it in ep.13 What does it matter what they talked about 3 years ago? That post credit scene at the of of ep. 12, instead of showing a useless scene of NDS crying, maybe show us what Halmoni and HJP talked about?

Based on recommendations here, i'll probably put 18 again, hospital playlist and dodosol on my watching list.

Yeah I have such an active imagination, I can't sleep after watching those darker themes, suspense and the likes.

I mean for me, a big part of the thing I like about kdrama is the rom-com's.

I may continue it as I like the first 30 minutes, wasn't able to finish it, But i'll probably start it, since it has only 2 more episodes left.

It's sad, we all keep going back to the noodle scenes, since it's the only scene where HJP and SDM are in the same frame LOL!

I've heard good things about the IONTBO, but the darker themes is not my cup of tea.

I firmly believe if Injae's company was acqhired instead of SST.

The two twins AND Injae would be included. No way Alex does not hire someone as impressive as Injae. I mean she can even speak mandarin, that alone increases her usefulness to Alex. The other two staff of Injae unfortunately would be cut. Of course Injae would reject the offer, but still she would have been heavily considered.

It is because SDM hasn't shown anything impressive to Alex that she wasn't included. Plus when Alex asked SDM a question, she had to take 5 minutes to look at NDS, and NDS was the one who ended up answering the question.

Not picking up Saha makes sense, since eastern graphic designers clash and are often very different from westernized notions of graphic design.

Also if you wanted to renegotiate, or discuss with Alex how SDM and Saha are useful and vital to the company, you don't physically threaten the other guy. That is negotiation 101. LOL!

NDS has brainwashed SDM on her own usefulness that she feels angry that Alex didn't choose her. Is she forgetting that she is still a college dropout that hasn't really shown much? On how she has a share count of 7%?, or that every time she has a chance to prove herself, NDS saves her?

If i'm Alex, I would also have trouble explaining to my boss why we are hiring the girlfriend of our engineer, who is basically not only redundant, but not even qualified for her job. In fact, Injae hiring SDM doesn't make sense, it's basically nepotism. What does SDM know about business strategic planning? Noon Gil never even entered this stage of the start up process.

In fact, the difference between Alex and HJP is that Alex acts cool, seems so nice and friendly, but he has less heart, and morals than HJP.

Its an interesting parallel don't you think? HJP had the same message to Yong San's brothers start up which according to Yong San pushed the brother to kill himself.

Alex message is actually even harsher, but it's delivered with a much softer, more cuter tone, yet the results are just as devastating, to the point NDS thought Yong San will kill himself.

is it good though? I also noticed the dad there is the same dad of WIJ, so funny!

The start seemed like my kind of comedy though. Just not sure if it's good, it's not rated that high for a new drama, so i'm curious.

Yes, it certainly can.

But I just felt, a future filled with hopes and dreams that will never come, really describes her relationship with NDS quite well. As NDS has been SDM's staunchest cheerleader to the point where he is telling her things that are not necessarily true.

It's like imagine your dad always telling you how you are genius and super smart. But when you take the college test, you fail hard, because apparently your dad kept telling you lies to make you feel better.

Telling children of how good they are at one thing, even if they are not just go give them confidence IMO is a bad tactic, because eventually they will find out that they are not as good as they thought they were, and the fall will be hard and painful.

It was an open ending, but heavily hinted their romance had started.

It was enough to satisfy IU fans, since the completely closed the other ship by pairing GHJ with CTH.

Who here wants to place some bets on whether we will ever get to see in flashbacks what HJP and Grandma talked about after the hug?

Because I agree with you, if I was in HJP, I would be caught off guard especially since the last topic they discussed was having noodles again, and whether or not to have pork cartilage or not.

So it's totally possible HJP thought she was talking about their relationship.

Also notice, when SDM asked what happened to HJP face, and he said she fell, and she said, I don't buy it, we legit see HJP about to tell SDM the real reason they fought. But he stops himself.

This is maturity from HJP. Even though he didn't start the fight with NDS, he realizes NDS has a point, and he instead apologizes to SDM.

Well the agency would never admit it of course, that would be a huge scandal I would think.

But yeah, at the time I remember it was mostly IU fans who are pretty crazy in their own right. In fact most kpop stans are borderline crazy.

An important dialogue, and my personal take, on the noodle date of SDM and HJP that I want more people to realize:

HJP: What do you want to hear?

Translation: Who will you choose?

SDM: I want Facts

Translation: I want you.

SDM: Not a future filled with hopes and dreams.

Translation: Not NDS, who is a dreamer.

SDM: That will never come.

Translation: NDS gives me false hope.

SDM: I want honesty. I want your honest and objective opinion.

Translation: I want you HJP, because you have always been honest and objective with me. Never giving me false hope.

Keep in mind in Episode 11, the path both men decided to walk to give SDM confidence parallel this dialogue.

HJP gives SDM confidence, be being both honest and objective. His vote of confidence, was told to a group of CEO, so his words of encouragement was just straight up facts. It was based on reality. No fluff.

NDS on the other hand, decided that the best way to give SDM confidence is to fill her mind with hopes and dreams. To make SDM feel she is the most important thing to SST success. How she is a vital part of the company. NDS gave her false hope.

This thought is obliterated by Alex, as he sees SDM and Saha as redundant and not needed, he didn't see SDM value to the company.
