I love how the photos in this drama, despite being old or from, like, 2010 or even years earlier, all have the whitening filter on them. Every time I see one i just start giggling.

in these typa cdramas will always (almost) be correct with technology but when you look at fashion you just go uh but in this drama they thought of the era they ar ein it;s obvious but they still wanted to make it for the modern audience(more 2020s)

I was thinking they are not gonna have a movie poster of something that came out in the 2020s that would be stupid, let just image search this and they have a poster of a movie from 2021(well tw movies now, i looked at another and now i am thinking maybe it's 2020 cause the outfits would make more sense to extent so will teh Celine bags but then the phones don't)

It's giving the Before Trilogy no wonder I am enjoying it, it's a better version of the last inspiration of it I watched which was that 2015 movie forgot the name it got he girl that played Mulan in Once Upon a Time and Mean Girl in Princess Protection. It takes place in Hong Kong. It seemed like they wanted to have all three movies but at same time they didn't know if they could make another or or a 3rd one do they put everything in the first movie. Like it had a certain pace then outta no wear it started going fast adn then you could see the 2 late Before movies as obvious inspirations but badly and quickly done. I hope this movie doesn't do that like they can just end at one when I watched the first movie fo the trilogy, I didn't know it was a Trilogy so when it ended I was very good with the endding, it's an ending you can decided how it goes so if that's the end or contues so basically they can easily add more to stories which they obvi did this on purpose, I say that to day I think this movie should end like that too. Im sure there's a term for it.

Just walking around doing things or talking I love that but i know it's not gonna be "deep" in any way, or at least it will try to but it will fall flat im still gonna enjoy this. The color grading or saturation mostly makes me think of the first movie. I know there will still/were restrictions on this it's still C-media.

I do like that they are showing something more than hours-long cdramas usually show which is not every single character needs to be "pure" i don't wanna use that word here it sounds weird but the best i can think of as of now. Like even bad boys in Cdramas be "pure." The has only dated one person trope and only date one person trope(I know there's matter of Y/N-ness in there), whom she/he comes to have this unhealthy "love" for if it's a wuxia they die for each other and stuff... I am not gonna start with that

this is 6 days later edit: Was browsing the tomorrow in Hong Kong couple actually got maaried irl, the same year too and still together that's so cute, i mena t least something good I presume came out of that

I love how how diverse the roles she plays are, it's never the same character. Also just realized i've seen like 3 of her dramas and she is already my fav and been one for A WHILE, I feel like that speaks volumes

I should add and she plays them well, people be thinking diverse characters = good acting
