The leads for Love In The Clouds will be happy that you gave "Love In The Clouds" 10/10! I hear the romance…
Thank you, I'm about to watch ep26 so as of now, they just "captured" the Pavillion, saved Zhong Chunji and started their healing journey for TLC. I was in awe during the battle against the bad guys, as I said in one post: this drama has some amazing choreographies when it comes to "people VS people" fights using actual weapons... it kinda reminds me of "Word of Honor", in the sense that I feel like I'm watching a ballet or a classical dance stage instead of a fight: everything is so stunningly beautiful, ethereal and elegant!

I actually started watching this beacause of Xiao Shunyao, and I'm really loving his character... but I think the two actors I'm most impressed with are the main lead and the main antagonist... especially Liu Yan's actor is giving me the chills, he really looks like a crazy mad dog!

Thanks for all the links, I'll give them a watch when I finish the series!

Thank you! I honestly never would have guessed XD

I just finished ep16 and I don't really feel the need of a romantic add to the already so rich story! I'm really enjoying the growing friendship and understanding among the group of main leads tho'.

I can understand, tho', why a female character would fall for Tang Lici because he's such a charismatic lead!

I LOVE this show, there is so much positivity in it!
Thee&Peach have wonderful communication, they are so different but they're really growing together... and so are Thee&Mok who have such a deep bond - their moments are peak, they always show how these two really understand and support each other since childhood!

And you know what, what I mostly love is this heartwarming vibe that exudes from every important scene: Peach coming out to Plub, PeachThee coming out to the Lee family, the whole orphanage moments... there is no "drama tragedy crycrycry it's terrible" mood, somehow I always know Peach and Thee will just sit down for a moment, talks things out, and overcome whatever things might happen.

And I love this, because as a queer person I'm so sick of tragedies and "outcast" vibes when we're talking about BL... we need more positivity, happiness and good energy! <3

And more golden retrievers for everyone! XD

PS, side note.... Santa is one hell of an actor, in his 5 minutes of screentime this episode he could have won an award for his intensity!

So in this winter-wuxia-craze, as I planned I finished Guardians of Dafeng and I finally started this one. <3

I must admit I had some issues adjusting to the pace and graphics of the first few episodes: sceneries and costumes are amazing, and also the fighting scenes that involve actual action from the leads (like Cloud's crescent moon knives fights) ... but some of the CGI scenes, on the other hand, felt somehow sloppy and cringe. Sometimes I honestly prefer simpler direction choices than bad cgi that feels like they wanted to do something but they didn't really nail it.

Anyway, I'm on ep8 rn and the plot is really enthralling, and so are the characters.... plus the ML is very charismatic and you can definitely feel there is muuuuuuuuuch more behind the story, so I can't wait to see how everything turns out!

PS, I love when friendly faces pop up, I was so happy to see Bai Shu and Xia Zhi Guang! <3

I'm sorry to ask, but what does CP stand for?

Is this on the same line of Mysterious Lotus Casebook in terms of mystery/investigation? I LOVED that series and I especially loved the fact that there was no romance but everything was focused on the development of the story and of the characters... and now I'm desperately looking for something similar.

This was one hell of a ride - I laughed, I cried, I giggled, I had peak adrenaline moments and I LOVED each and every episode (the only down moment was that whole "princess mistake" issue at the beginning which felt a bit too long, BUT the ML acting and comedic timing was always on point so... it passed pretty quickly).

Every character was memorable, especially the Guardian team who had insane chemistry as a group and who made me teary eyed every time they acted to uphold justice and their members' efforts/reputation.

The comedy was always there, although I was expecting a bit more (but I'm probably not used to china mainland comedy since I usually watch thai and japanese series) - stellar acting and great OST.

10/10 for me, I can't wait for season two!

And I will say this too, don't laugh at me: Dylan Wang is def very goodlooking and he was an incredible charismatic lead, but I just couldn't stop seeing Kou Shibasaki while watching him! He reminds me so much of her! XD

I really enjoyed this drama. It is definitely more friendship focused and about the connections the ML makes with…
thank you! I just started watching Guardians of the Dafeng, because most of the comments say the comedy is top-tier and I definitely need some laughs right now… as soon as I finish that one, I will start this one! <3

WHAT A SERIES!
This was my first time watching Cheng Yi's acting (actually, I tried Journey of Legend but wasn't my cup of tea) and it was really amazing, along with the other two main leads: the story is great of course, and so are the characters, but the three actors really made them come to life with such strenght, passion and emotion that I felt like their charisma was the major force of this series.

There were some minor flaws here and there, mostly direction and some sequence cuts, BUT I couldn't stop watching - I bingewatched everything in like... three days? Because I had to know what was happening in the story, but most of all I had to know what was happening to the trio.
LLH, DFS and FDB had their past, their flaws, their strenghts, but most of all their growth that was shown throughout their actions.

If there was a series I would love to forget, just to start watching it again... it would be this one! (...and Word of Honor...!)

10/10, thank you to everyone involved in the creation of this unforgettable journey.

Ok, I see no romance tag for this drama, which for me is a HUGE plus because I'm more into friendship/mystery/adventure/action when it comes to wuxia/xianxia series... can you guys confirm this has no romance?

I loved Aero's role in MLC so I'm curious to see him in other series too, and this seems a nice one!

Hmmmm something feels off about this series, for some reasons I feel like the cuts and scenes are kinda low-budget…
The forensic doctor was sus for me! When he said that he got the group's call for a doctor because the station is short handed? Plus for some reason I can't believe Sing is just there doing a side-side-side kick XD

Hmmmm something feels off about this series, for some reasons I feel like the cuts and scenes are kinda low-budget or not really cared for a lot. I'm liking more Dunk's acting than Joong's this time, which for me is a first but I'm happy to see him improving every time and I hope he keeps it till the end.

And since they asked for our previsions for the killer...

Title 10Dance
Technically amazing movie: the acting was stellar, as I expected - both main leads own their characters and shine in their polar opposite roles. I also appreciated the "untold" emotions, the strong force pulling these two together (or separating them, like a magnet).

Unfortunately I have been forced to practice classical dance my whole childhood and grew to hate anything that is dance-related, so I couldn't really enjoy the setting... but I watched till the end and, if they will ever do a sequel with the ending of the manga AND the 10D competition (and maybe also an ending that is an actual ending), I will watch for sure.

PS, for those saying that the ending wasn't satisfying... I personally felt like their "love relationship" was secondary - the main point for me was in how both Shinyas realized, through and thanks to each other, their inner strenghts, faults, and feelings (both for each other, and for the love of dancing).

Title Interminable
Finally managed to watch every episode and catch up - it's a very nice project, building up week after week, with a nice balance of past/present moments (but I prefer their past lifes honestly) and very accurate costume/scenes.

I must agree with those saying, however, that it's incredibly slow - and not in terms of plot (I LOVE slower paced series in which events and feelings unfold step by step) but in terms of actual "slowness", i don't know how to say this: everything happens in slow motion - movements, talks, dialogues, cuts... I usually don't watch at faster speed, but this is the first series ever I have been watching at 1.5 and incredibly it feels normal like that. o.o

Anyway, fun thing - at the beginning of the series I was like: "omg Heng in a funny role, love this!" .... and after few episodes he was running around being a red-eyed angry spirit, and I was like.... "ok, that's more like it!". XD

Oddioooo!!! *_*
This is one of the few series in which we can actually say: every episode is better than the one before, and it never disappoints!

I LOVED the coming out scene with Plub, it didn't feel forced and it underlined the strong bond between the siblings, and also that that Peach is actually thinking a lot about Thee and the dynamics of their relationship. (plus, Bonnie is the cutest girl on earth!)

Another positive note: it keeps being funny as hell! Often these kinds of dramas get a bit more serious as the episodes go on, but here Thee keeps being so over-the-top and so ridiculous, I just can't stop laughing!

Hm, this series has a very interesting "balance" of fluffiness VS mystery: the point is, the fluff is within two people who are actually "acting" like that trying to investigate something, and I find this to be pretty intriguing.

Plus, I think there is way more than a memory loss in Botpleng's condition, and the revelation at the end of ep3 had me thinking, "but WHY would Thanphob do that?"... so yeah, every little mystery brings out a new one.

It's not a very "energetic" or "active" series, it's more mental, but that's just like how series like these are... they develop hint after hint, and we're only on ep3, so we have plenty of more time/episodes to discover more!
