Awwwww my face hurts from smiling! This series is just so cute: it slowly progresses with no huge ups&downs, like an everyday flow of happenings... God and Diew are both taking steps one toward the other with such a positive and heartwarming respect!
To be honest, my only issue up to now is that Big looks a bit too old for this role... but I'm not complaining, I'm so happy to see him in a main role, especially in such a positive one!
Awwww I thought we would start this week but there's a special BTS episode before the series airs? >.<
The trailer was a ride: Ohm rocks any role he's given, with any partner, and Leng has that kind of interesting beauty that will make the ship pretty fun! Can't wait!
I wasn't expecting those kisses! They are so cute together. <3
This episode was a bit less messier than usual, maybe because we had only few chat-scenes; I really can't stand Ozone as a character, and same goes for Pie... plus, I don't quite understand what's the ship supposed to be: Ozone/Pie or Ozone/Sin or Ozone/Min?
I might be the only one who likes the costumes' scenes? I really have a thing for xia's clothes and I sooooooo very much hope we can get some GOOD historical drama with a m/m couple!
10/10 from me. It gives you an idea of what happens behind the scenes in the BL business. They could have stretched…
Agreed! I've watched it as it aired, and rewatched it a few times... it's always a nice ride, somehow I feel like it was one of the first BL series being "less BL" and more "story/character oriented". There are some very meaningful moments and dialogues, and the main cast did an amazing job portraying their roles!
Bruce is a great actor, he shined in every role he played - I really hope we can get more important roles for him.
Another great episode - I would have loved a bit more OffGun, but their moments are always poignant so that's ok! I don't know if it's the make-up or the style, but Off looks so charismatic in this series!
I honestly didn't expect the preview from next episode with Tae wanting to take Bahmee back... I don't see her chemistry with Judy, it looks like she just wants attentions and she feels safe and loved with Judy... but we'll see.
Best thing in the preview: Off with that red shirt, omg!
No more japanese BL adaptations please Gmmtv. Cherry Magic TH is the only one to have managed to impress us. MLMU…
Agreed - and I'm honestly pretty scared for Ossan's love, since it's one of my comfort dramas: I love EarthMix but Earth didn't really convince me in the scenes we saw up to now. Fingers crossed!
The best part of this episode was Kidnap's trailer.
...just joking of course, but: I'm happy it's over - although I liked the final episode, it wasn't enough to redeem the general boredom I felt while watching this series. 10 episodes would probably had been enough. Gem4 did their best, and so did the other actors, but the drama just lacked spark and felt needlessly slow.
That said - I'm really loving Bas' acting, he's so intense and I feel my heart ache when he's on screen... he basically sacrificed all his life, ethics, love, interests for a company and to get recognizion from an a$$hole father. And, he's one fine guy!
I'm really loving all side-characters, Nan backstory was short but poignant and in just few scenes we got a powerful depiction of what she must be feeling.
This is surprisingly fun!! I have low expectation as it's Aiba's drama and I'm not fans of Arashi....but it turned…
I'm a long-time Arashi fan, from their debut times, and Aiba has always been "my favorite" among the group... but I have to agree, although he has gotten better in time, he's probably the less "charismatic" when it comes to screen presence.
(Still haven't watched the drama yet, my watchlist keeps growing and growing, sigh!)
This drama is my guilty pleasure - it makes absolutely no sense, a whole lot of confused ideas thrown on the table with no connection nor objective... BUT I can't stop watching! I'm adoring the boys with the chinese clothes, costume dramas are definitely my kink!
I honestly would have loved something like "a writer telling a wuxia story reminiscing of his past love, and then he finds his reincarnated partner in modern timeline too"... without the whole writing-squad that makes no sense.
And. Tutor has to be one of the most beautiful humans on earth. I'll never get tired of saying it.
This gives me 2009's "My Girl" vibes, a drama that I both loved and disliked... at that time I watched only because of Aiba and here my plan was to watch because of Meguro... I guess I'll just dive in!
Every single country has obviously its own - but saying "asian" is just like saying "western" or "european" or "middle eastern" and so on, setting together similar (not same) moods/traits/characteristics.
I'm watching this weekly but I just realized I totally forgot that ep11 aired... it's a nice and cute drama, but forgetting the penultimate episode is a huge sign of how this series doesn't spark (for me). I found the "mother moment" badly executed and heavy, the Beauty&Beast too long (but both Half & Matmee were amazing in tjhose outfits!), and as always we get 3/4 ads BEFORE each segment PLUS the inner product placement too, which is way too much.
Somehow this show reminds me of some "old but gold" series in which the base storyline is simple, but the execution is just so great that the drama becomes addicting: this was another top episode with great acting and great direction, plus some very funny moments and some emotional scenes too. Loving it, every week more!

Every week is a rollercoaster!

But, best thing ever: Chinzhilla cameo!!!
Loving it, every week more!
And yes, I'm loving how they are often showing characters' hands on frame to display their emotions!
