Almost an entire episode without Chopper, and I definitely felt that... I love PondPhuwin and both characters they're impersonating, but boy their script is horrid and this episode seemed like a collage of deleted scenes written by random people without much sense.
Still: 1. Love Perth. 2. PondPhuwin are masters sniffkissers! 3. Uncle Kit reminds me of Ms.BadWomanOnStilettoHeels from Oh!MySunshineNight... but, thank God, Nat is a better actor (love you Naaaaat!!!). 4. Palm's father always has this useless look, he's probably the most useless character of the whole series. 5. Just one last episode to go, finally. Sorry NLMG, I like you but we're not destined to be in love. 6. Did I say "love Perth" already, right?
Something's off with me lately because I'm crying at every drama's poignant scene...! I was so torn in every Alex…
That said... just some random thoughts.
1. Love the fact that Alex talked about "they/them" while speaking about Molly. He's so respectful! (Although I don't speak Thai so I don't know how personal pronouns are, so maybe it was just something from the subs.)
2. I was rooting for Alex&Kat but maybe Tony is just the right kind of sweet and kind love that Kat deserves... they were pretty cute together! I just hope she can find happiness and open up her heart, she rocks!
3. Army&Joe are still my favourite couple. I got so emotional during their scenes and I was so proud of Joe opening up with the team! In the preview we've seen a scene of both of them as young students in the bathroom... it would be great if Alex can help them too while going back, maybe solving their issue sooner might help Joe's "openness".
4. I'm downloading almost every song on this drama. The OST is amazing.
Alex doesn't get much appreciation, he did his best to solve everyone issues, he is the first stright dude to…
Totally agreed! He has done a mistake as a teen, but who hasn't? I don't have enough fingers in my hand to cunt how many mistakes I did as a teen, both small and big! Yes, his actions scarred Jean forever, but he's grown into a caring human being and he's trying his best to make up to her.
Once again, Gaipa and his mom made me cry. Bless all those parents who are so supportive and understanding to their sons/daughters, whatever the issue might be!
First is an acting hurricane, everyone is doing amazing here but he showed up for 5mins and stole all the attention, well done First!
Perth outshines everyone. His eyes are just... a whole other level. Sometimes I go check how old is he, because I just can't believe an actor this young could have such an amazing charisma.
Might it be me who's overly emotional today, but I swear I cried during so many scenes of this ep3! Not out of sadness, but out of SO MUCH that was expressed by the actors: eyes, moves, facial expressions... adding music and cinematography, and my heart just melt!
Favourite scene: Gaipa and his mother sending flowers to the water Goddess. I love their relationship, and it was so symbolic to see these two generations coming together in a traditional act, with so much love, tenderness and support for each other.
The level of acting and directing of this drama is just top notch... every second feels real and delivers so much.
Is it just me, so some scenes are way too much whitened? Like there's an excessive amount of white-light on the…
Yes at times. It was pretty evident during the walk on the bridge - but I felt it was meant to be, since it was contrasting with darker scenes... like, one character was full-light and then the scene was switching to the other character that was full-shadow... like the two poles of the tao symbol.
What is Eew's job? Seriously, he's never doing anything but staying home or playing games. I'm really curious…
I wish I could have his job too, always playing videogames! XD
Anyway, he works in a photography shop (film development), probably owned by the family since at the beginning of the show we've seen his father there too. The room where he plays videogames is right after the shop's entrance.
this is such an amazing drama, but I think they’ve done a bit of a misstep with the lead couple - since episode…
I think most of us agree with you, it would feel too "forced" or "faked" to have Alex&Jean end up together - it's just so unreal to have them all end up with their first loves... people grow up and change, feelings change, expectations change, ideals change... as of now, I think Tony would fit more to Jean; and as for Alex&Kat, I love how they look together but their conversation in ep.9 was great and it would be ok even if they end up like that.
1. Tinn is the best possible boyfriend ever. 2. Tiwson's the best possible friend ever. 3. Some usual BL plot holes in this episode, but the aforementioned points, along with everything else, make this drama so enjoyable that I just can't say anything,
PS, I was almost forgetting: Satang's smile is so damn cute!
I rewatch the trailer from time to time (it's so cool!!) and: can't wait to see all of the couples again, BUT my heart is with Tian&Phupha - need a happily ever after for them. <3
That said, after watching this week's episode I feel so torn! The development of the story just doesn't make sense, but still, the drama is entertaining and interesting and I can't wait for next week.
I love how Palm&Nueng are getting layers and layers in their relationship, and PondPhuwin deserve some compliments because they are actually delivering their roles better than many other actors out there in the BL world. I would have expected a moment of "anger issues solving" after the beach scene, I get it was out of pain but we've seen Palm has violence bursts and we still need to see a soothing of this problem.
I'm sorry Palm but that bracelet is just so kitsch. >_<
Chopper is love. I just hope nobody in this freaking screenwriting team thinks it might be a good idea to make Chopper sacrifice himself to prove his good intents: I swear if Chopper dies I'll go kicking GMMTV's writers.
From next week's preview: Nueng needs to buy smaller jackets, he disappears inside those huge suits.

Missed these characters, i'm so happy to start bingewatching! =D
