what do you mean by terribly static. can u explain pls, don't really get it
They haven't met for such a long time and have been through a lot, and yet their kiss was so cold... Basically they were just standing there, still, in a "half-hug" kissing in a way that to me seemed rigid and lacking the chemistry that was present for the whole series. The encounter in the clocktower was sweet and cute, I just didn't feel the climax in the kiss.
I mean, I think we're used to this in BL series, but lately we've seen such great kisses that I'm getting spoiled! XD
This is one of those series that deserve a 10/10 for so many factors: great plot, great acting, great music, great storytelling, great interaction between characters and great chemistry between actors, great message delivered.
Yes, the finale could have been better: I loved TinTol chemistry but the final kiss was terribly static, and Tol's loop deserved at least one more episode... but still, every gap was filled and what remains a mystery hopefully will get a second series... :D :D :D *hopes and fingers crossed!*
The most important thing anyway is... I'm on team Sing till the end!! I will miss this role from Tonnam, he was amazing and looking so hot as a doctor! <3
Vee has an older brother named Yoo, which is already at the start of the series out and about being gay. Vee and…
Thank you very much! I didn't read the novel and this is actually the first "en of love" series that I watch so it was hard to understand some of those attitudes. Thanks for the recap!
From day to night in 3 split seconds, and in those 3 seconds Mark managed to walk pretty far and almost get assaulted.…
Oh and before someone says it: I usually like plots where you have to "build" the information or somehow extract them from the narration... it's just, here there are so many info missing...

This series has amazing main leads and great chemistry, but the editing is terrible and it makes watching it so confusing, there are so many holes in the storytelling... who's Yoo? Vee's brother? And he's gay and his brother hates him for bringing a boyfriend home in the past? When did someone explain it?
I'm forgiving everything because both Vee and Mark are lovely characters (I mean, they have many issues, but they are somehow relatable and likeable) and the two actors are doing an amazing performance (AND they are both so damn goodlooking!)
Great work from all the young actors, I loved Kura-kun from HIS and I think it was great to have him perform a somehow opposite role in this... plus, Mizusawa reminded me a lot from Nino's acting and jestures (Ninomiya from Arashi), so I really doted on him here.
This show might be the answer as to "why?" I really love asian cinematography, especially japanese: the art of giving so much by showing just so little. <3
Somehow I feel like Mark has been a bit off and weird with his acting in the last episodes... he started well in the first ones with his "cool-rigid-distant" mood but now he should be a bit more smooth, instead he keeps on being so rigid... but still, I love PrinceFah interactions and their sweet moments always put a huge smile on my face.
Mek is more and more beautiful at each episode...!
And anyway, this show is worth watching even just for the communication goals the ML are achieving: I love, love, LOVE! the fact that they SPEAK and SOLVE issues talking and explaining, how normal people would do.
Beautifully done. Simple and short, yet poignant and deep. Takeda's voice and acting was so soothing and full of melancholy, while Kimura's was more energic and passionate but with so much suffering trapped inside... they both delivered amazing performances.
The last episode was a perfect ending: I loved Togawa's dialogue when he said that being part of a minority or having an age-gap relationship is actually just like rooting for two baseball teams or coming from two different towns... if people could really be a bit more "ligh-hearted" and see that no difference is as big as it sounds, the world would definitely be a better place.
Son Woo Hyun shined from start to finish. He gave life to one of the best BLs characters of the last years... I will miss Kang Seo Joon smile, laugh, sweetness, care, love, and everything that made him such a lovely character.
That said, I think I liked S2 better than S1: yes, there were some chaotic plot moments, and I must admit I would have loved more time spent on KSJ and HJW past and inner motives instead of having to deal with mother/daughter and ex-girlfriend for half of the series... BUT! Even so, I'm so happy to see adult characters dealing with struggles, suffering, loss and after all of the shit that life gives us... finding a way to keep on going. It's not like problems disappeared from their lives... but they found a way to solve them step by step.
Again, Son Woo Hyun was brilliant. And also: the CEO is the only man in the world who can look cool on a total-pink tuxedo.
Oh! I didn'y know it makes a difference! What does it change if we rate episodes instead of the whole series? I usually rate a series when it's finished because I want to see how everything comes together in the end to be able to rate it in a more complete way, but if rating episde by episode would help my favourite series I'll do that too! XD
I love these two: they are just like normal people having paranoic moments over silly things, but instead of going nuts for endless episodes like they usually do in thai BLs, here they solve everything in half episode and their story actually EVOLVES and it's cute and likeable.
Mek is fascinating, Mark is handsome, Mike is cool, Arm is charming, Joong is hot... but someone please erase Dunk. I just can't stand him and I would prefer 45mins of nothing instead of 3mins of fake cute DaoKhluen moments.
Again, I'm already in withdrawal crisis and can't wait for this week to be over!
I love the show as it is, but it seems that important parts have been cut and put as deleted scenes for VIP-members…
Thank you! I didn't know this and it might be the main reason why I feel so many things are badly told or left out of the storytelling... I usually don't have problems with "bad dramas" (I mean, I followed Tuxedo just to know what absurdity they would come up with at each episode... and I still had fun watching! XD), I get intrigued by characters so that's the main reason why I'll keep watching this too... it's just, it feels like they think we know half the story already, which might not be true for everyone's watching.
I haven't watched anything from the "En of Love" series and I started this one since I was looking for something to fill in the weekly gaps of other series... but, I just can't really follow the plot, I feel like everything is so badly patched together... At the beginning it looks like Marc&Vee are strangers but then Vee does the most bizarre and absurd love confession while Mark has a knife on his throat (WHAT WAS THAT SCENE?? totally crazy, useless, absurd!! and nobody gave a sh!t about Vee's love confession even tho' he was crying and being overly emotional and shouting love from the top of his lungs...)... I really can't get the "timings" of their "relationship". Plus, the whole Ploy/Vee thing is a bit irritating (why can Vee cheat on her, but she can't cheat on him?)...
I must admit, though, that even if I don't like Vee's character I am kinda curious about Mark, AND I like both of the actors who are doing a pretty good job. So, I will keep watching.
