First moments of the new episode, and can I scream one stupid thing that is really futile amidst all this nonsense, but it's really REALLY hurting my nerves?
Which is: jeez, they spent MILLIONS on horses cars bikes actors houses... AND they couldn't afford to buy a freaking PLANT? Those plastic plants that Kim's holds on to are just kicking my nerves!

These days I was too tired to give this series the attention it deserved so I put it on hold, but I finally finished watching.

Yes, it's not perfect.
Yes, 6 episodes would have been enough and yes, it feels very theatrical (and I honestly loved that).
Yes, Mol is at times unbearable (and yet, being a single mother of an "atypical" child I can relate ---to some extent).
Yes, In is a freaking coward but he told us: he lived things that scarred him and not all of us are equally brave.
Yes, Wang is the only adult in the movie (and I adored his character!)
Yes, the plot is not the most creative AND we all guessed the "mystery" from the very beginning.

And yet, this was one of the most immersive, engaging, addictive, interesting, deep dramas I've seen recently, touching so many topics and shades of humanity/human-personality by depicting three totally believable characters portrayed by mesmerizing acting, also beautifully directed! I loved the atmosphere, the music, the weight of all the dialogues (both in terms of WHAT they said but even more of HOW they said and expressed it).

10/10 for me, and that's also because I'm so happy to see a product going way out of BLs lines and being "a story with people".

And last thing, again: I fell in love with all the actors, they were amazing and shining in every episode.

Being bored as hell by this, I'm just reading the comments for some fun (I think this is the series that most disappointed all of us, at this point...), and this ---> "It must be a well-stocked bar." <--- made me laugh so hard! XD

Ep.13 award for best acting goes to... Kim's albino plastic plant!
Ep.14 award for most sane character goes to... SnowWhite the horse!

Oh, well. It started out great, lost itself along the way, but all in all I honestly enjoyed it.
I had fun and the cast was cute (I'm a mountain person but this is one Sea I definitely love! *_*), it could have been much better with a good screenplay but i think it was meant to be something easy and light-hearted and so it was.

And now, again: I need Lalana in a GL, please. She was the most beautiful thing of these 12 episodes.

I'm starting to think Khaotung would be amazing even if he were to act as the pinetree in a school recital.
His lines in this show are somehow predictable (but I'm loving his character), yet he manages to perfectly portray his role.

Nice episode! Sea was this week's protagonist, kudos! He's doing great for being a rookie: his crying is never cringe and his smiling is just so damn cute!

"I watched at least 20 cumulative minutes of it💚" had me laughing too much! XDDDD

I felt like this episode was "liberatory" for many of the characters:
-- Ayan finally letting the walls down with Akk
-- Khan realizing he really likes Thua
-- Thua permitting himself to "feel"
-- Akk permitting Aye to subtly fall deeper into his thoughts

I cried in so many moments because I really felt the weight of what the characters were delivering.
Amazing performances by Khaotung! And kudos to Neo and Luis too!

I think that scene wasn't meant to be a "first kiss", but more of a moment in which Khan actually takes out the courage to act (even tho' he thought Thua was asleep so not that brave in the end...) and recognizes the fact that he likes him.

You know, this drama feels like those tacky afternoon telenovelas that grandmas watch while cooking and doing crosswords, where nothing ever happens but even so it takes millions of minutes of screentime to get things (badly) done while an overly dramatic music plays loudly.

Ahahah, è una piccola grande addiction! Venerdì ero via per lavoro in Austria e magicamente sono finita in un quartiere pieno di negozi etnici, fra i quali anche un ThaiShop... sono dovuta fiondarmi a vedere se c'era qualcosa che conoscevo! Ho fatto una spesa di chips alle alghe, bibite strane, ramen pronti (però non c'era il gusto carbonara, mannaggia!) e cose simili! XD

Boss is so hot/beautiful/charming that they should label him as illegal.


That said... the most sensual and emotional scene of this series up to now, with all the steamyness and sexyness and tongueness and so on, has been: Payu humming early in the morning while making coffee. I must admit I cried because of so much beauty.

Whatever, I still love this show.
Yes, it could have been waaaay better with a great cast (I mean: so many great cameos, secondary characters and even Sea&Jimmy could have rocked more with a good direction!) and with better screenwriting, but still ---- I find it fun and entertaining.

Sidenotes:
-I swear I didn't get it was "pink".
-Nanon looks awful in that minute of guest appearence, what happened to him? o.o
-"Friend credits" is the best thing of this show.
-Poor Sea will get cramps because of all the unnatural poses they put him through in kissing scenes...
-and what's more: who kisses so stiff in a bathtub? cmon guys are your hands dead? o.o'
-I need a GL series with Lalana. pretty please?
-Aou&Fuse. Yes, might be a thing.
-Mix brightens the screen whatever he does.
-yes, those commercials actually worked: I bought a nose inhaler AND oishi lemon! ....and I had to do a 3hrs car drive to do so! (i'm italian living in a rural area: few asian shops around here and selling nothing from thailand)

I wish next week could be the last, because i'm really eager to get to the ending.

This is actually very interesting! I think it was pretty obvious that Talay&Puen wouldn't go back together because they needed to make the cliffhanger last a bit longer, but since they both dreamed together and realized together the portkey thing, this might be a good hypothesis as of why one went back and the other didn't.

Every week I think I've seen the best episode, yet the week after is always even better. This series might have some strange "plot thingies" but everything else is so amazing (acting, charaters, themes and rapresentation, direction, ost...) that Friday is the day I wait the most in my week.

And this tender kiss was one of the best ones recently after Pat/Pran's in episode 5 and Sean/White's in episode 8.

Pretty confused by this... loved how it started, loved how it ended, loved the acting and the summernostalgia vibes, loved the side characters and Shin was the best boy ever... but all in all it felt way too dragged. Even so, I laughed and smiled a lot and I would definitely love to see a SP episode with some fluff, love and laughter again. <3

Oh and on a side note: I really love what J-BLs are doing with the endings, with final credits that always "develop" and add something to the flow.

I'm sorry for asking, I might be overly stupid but I can't see it... is there a way to change order in these sort of lists? I would love to see the titles in (for example) rating order or airing year or something that makes it easier to see which ones I'm actually missing. XD

(Somehow I miss the times in which we got a couple of BLs and that was all... now we're flooded and it's a bit difficult to follow every good series amidst all the random trash.)
