Just catching up—now on episode 21, and how heartbreaking. The moment when He Simu breaks down, crying bitterly after being left all alone, hit hard… and then that scene right after, with Duan Xu holding her “heart.” Dilraba truly shines in emotional scenes—she makes every bit of that angst feel so real
I enjoyed this overall, but the predictable ending ended up being a letdown—especially after the show raised my expectations with all its twists. It kept me guessing almost until the very end, and I thought there was no way the writers would go with the most obvious choice for the killer. Turns out… they did.
OK, maybe it's just me but things have become clearer but also muddier after episode 15. Despite that, I love the chaotic mess and all the action! It keeps things very interesting.
That scene where LWY was struck and falling backward, with her dress billowing in slow motion, was beautiful. I really feel for her; even to the end, she was still searching for her beloved JiLing.
This was engaging enough that I watched all 10 episodes in one day. It's not excellent but I thought the stories flowed well into each other. The leads were great but the bromance was a little flat, a little too restrained. I also liked Mibu, Machida's character. Kujo was more of an anti-hero, working with unsavory characters, believing that everyone has the right to be represented and defended. Wasn't expecting the possibility of season 2 but I hope it airs soon.
This was a good watch - one of the better short dramas. Despite the inconsistent plot, it was decent and the acting was fine. The ML is beautiful! Probably too gorgeous to be mainstream. It will be difficult to find FLs that would not be overshadowed by him.
Rewatching the past episodes just because I loved watching Simu discover what it means to truly live, alongside Duan Xu. And the way he just kept falling deeper… ❤️ Now bracing myself for the inevitable angst to come.
Sad how the social structures in South Korea drive so much bullying. I appreciate shows that keep highlighting how bad the situation is. Emotional episode this week - and it looks like next one will be sadder!
Episodes 10 & 11 were such a treat—fleshing out the characters' backstories, the relationships between WSG and WWY, and CW with LWY, developing so nicely, and it’s fun to watch. Add in that great soundtrack and more cast that’s easy on the eyes…
