Highly recommend - warm rom-com with realistic portrayals of people and their attraction to others. Main leads are cute together and I enjoyed seeing their journey together and apart.
The streaming platform is Tencent or WeTV and they would release the latest episode as express but you have to pay for it. Once you pay, then you have access to the express package eventually.
Just starting ep 4 and loving the vibe, but there's this feeling of dread - probably because it is going way too smoothly for our couple so quickly. Even though I enjoy the actors, the mature storyline, the humor...I am tempted to let this finish airing and get spoilers before I continue.
Nicely done, show! Even though I know there was a grander plan, I still felt the tension of wondering if our FL would pull through and still get her revenge. The leads didn’t disappoint- just like how thy began at first, they naturally and quietly reconciled with no grand gestures. Wasn’t expecting the long wrap up at the end but I appreciate that it was a bona fide…
I enjoyed the Thai original and this version as well. Such a simple but impactful and romantic story, well told and executed. There were some editing issues for this Chinese version but the acting was good. I was lucky to find this one from a flight movie selection.
well, you know only 15 years of nightmares, and smell of bloodperhaps the drama didn't' have enough time to show…
I can understand why she might have snapped but I’m still disappointed that she went that route. Also, I guess the drama didn’t make it clear - did she wait so long and stayed alive purely she could slay her family’s murderer or did she want to clear her father’s name as well? That’s the contradiction for me - I thought she wanted justice for her family which is why she repeatedly seeked it from the emperor. But perhaps she had given up on that so she decided to end it all.
Thank you, yes! Some of the reactions to Huaijin are beyond understanding.
Maybe they are not thinking about the big picture - instant gratification with death versus clearing her father's reputation and seeing the villain properly condemned and punished.
