Even 8.8 is a lucky number, I hope that the rating will break 9. This show deserves it so far.

Duke Su is so strategic and aware that I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly how you described it...he is winning her over, gaining her trust in his own way. He is making sure that she knows she is helping him as well so that ultimately they don't owe each other anything.

I hope so. All I know is that usually when the villains are not properly killed off, they will keep coming back. So she might somehow join again with the crazy Princess to try and take Jiang Li down.

You're right...he already sees her as his to protect awhile ago. The progress in ep 28 was that he made it clear to her.

I see yours too :) I think as long as they feature more of Duke Su with Jiang Li, no matter what kind of interaction, the daily popularity index will increase. Maybe the producer will see the same thing you pointed out and insert more of their scenes in the next episodes. I really hope for the wedding night scenes - haha!

I wished none of them died. Even the bad one can testify against JSR when she pops up again which I am sure she will.

Actually I saw constant progress in the OTP relationship. Just in ep 28, their conversation was a good one, showing that the Duke no longer sees their interactions as transactions, that Jiang Li no longer had to count favors. Also, the scene after, when he acknowledged he was in a good mood after seeing JL.
We needed the stepmother arc to get rid of her.

Jiang Li's loss in ep 28 was such a great one. The whole scenes as she said goodbye and and then having to let her go was just 😭😭😭

Perhaps you thought so but I wouldn’t compare Sol’s character to Eun Ha. Sol’s character was not judgmental and rash like this one. I wouldn’t also compare this character to the ML’s. Not even close. I’m not sure why you consider her green flag. She attacked him, accused him immediately all for things she misunderstood. Definitely not very green flag.
I assure you, if a ML behaved like her, I would also be critical of him at first,
She exposed the real video because she was also being judged for being so low. So yes she may have a backbone for doing that but not entirely for unselfish reasons. Her statements to the PD implied that. I hope she does quit that company. It’s too toxic for her idealistic nature.
Hopefully for me, she will become more endearing as the show progresses. If not, no biggie. I’ll continue to ignore her since there are other enjoyable elements of the show.

Yeah, I don’t like her character, and the actress doesn’t appeal to me. Maybe later on, she will grow on me.

After 2 episodes, I’m staying for the ML and his gang. The comedy is pretty good. I just don’t like the FL at this point. She’s the usual reckless full of bravado character, quick to misunderstand and not very smart. I’ll ignore her for now.

CSR blamed himself, really??? For someone filled with guilt all his life, he was able to carry on an affair with the woman who started all the tragedies.

If the screenwriters are trying to make us feel sympathy for CSR acting all noble now, they totally failed. I just find his character detestable. Ultimately it was still his fault.
I don't get why they cannot just punish the grandfather and that rat of a major. They were clearly leading a rebellion that got squashed in front of everyone. What further evidence is needed??? Weren't their actions enough?
