Wu Jin Yan is killing it as Jiang Li. I really like her expressions and I so appreciate a mature FL who knows how to admire a man, and not act all girly and embarrassed each time there is physical contact.

I am not getting that vibe at all in this adaptation. There was definitely something incestuous in the Hong Kong version.

For most, it’s a good ending but not a 100% concrete one because of censorship of the time travel theme. I personally like to think it was a HE

Wow, in that case, I don’t think I can forgive him unless it was a fiancee forced by his family and he never agreed willingly…you know tropes like that 😁

So far, I like the FL character, her family and her relationship with her brother. There’s a hint of strong female bonds forming too.
No heartache for the FL yet but it will happen. She will go through different phases of her life with different men as you can tell from the synopsis.
The brother is the ML and the show also shows his journey to love.
The show does have a good mix of comic relief so maybe the heartbreaking scenes might be lightened by some humor.

The reveal at the end of ep 18 is almost comical. The writers must thought what else can they throw at the plot!
