Thanks so much! I will give all of them a try since I have heard good things about them. I was not able to watch One and Only yet because of the 😭😭😭 scenes. That said, knowing that it was happier in Forever and Ever, I think I can watch it now.

Yeah, the friend's advice is totally for the wrong kind of relationship. It's just too bad she cannot just follow her own instincts and do things her natural way. She would be far more charming because she does know when to flirt back the right way... On the other hand, the ML is just plain awkward...lol

You mean "Only For Love"? I am watching it now. Be prepared for a tropey and cheesy story but I am enjoying it very much because of that! It's been a while since I've watched the Overbearing CEO story ;)
I wish when XS was daydreaming about what happened "that night", they would flash back to the steamy part...lol...although the biting scene was hilarious!

Romantic music playing most time they meet now lol…this part I like but looking at the preview for ep 18, the journey to love will not be as smooth 🥲 My favorite moments though were whenever JH showed her brilliance in strategy and quick responses to situations!
This was a pleasant watch but I can understand the low rating. It would have been better if it was shorter since the story got draggy halfway through. The sad thing was that from episodes 29 until around 35, the show threw in all sorts of issues to create drama but the worst was that the female leads were reduced to pathetic states, unable to help themselves. That was so inconsistent with their character portrayals before that. Smart intelligent outspoken women reduced to little ability to speak up, defend themselves…very annoying 😡 This is a slice of life drama focused on the growth of two women and their friendship so I was not expecting much in the romance department. There was romance but it may not have been enough to satisfy those looking for sizzling scenes between the ML played by Bai Jing Ting and the FL played by Wang Zi Wen. Fans of BJT would appreciate that he appeared a lot and was one of the main characters. He didn’t really have to flex his acting skills that much in this show but he was good. Both female leads acted fine too. It’s just too bad the show did their characters dirty towards the end. Overall, I would still recommend that people give this show a try and maybe watch some episodes on 2x speed to get through the draggy part.

I understand what you mean…it’s interesting to me that there are fans who cannot see their onscreen CPs be matched with other actors. So they compare everything - from age, looks, height, talent and chemistry with the other lead. Easier for me to understand when fans will defend whatever characters their idols play. That’s expected. For me, I mainly like this show because it is so the “overbearing CEO” romance trope. It is exaggerated and set in today’s time, it is pure entertainment. Plus I like the actors and get the impression that they had fun making this show 😁
I stopped at ep 13 cuz someone told me trash is coming and was waiting for people to tell me, it has passed.
I was encouraged by all the comments about eps 15-16 so I binged through the earlier eps can caught up! The story is now interesting to me! I’m dying for a good historical so like you, hoping that WOL 2023 would be a good one 🤞

I’m almost done. It was a nice watch but way too long and they ruined the last few episodes by throwing too many issues at the two female leads. Like you o would have preferred more romance but I guess the story was focused mainly on the FL and the aunt. Anyway, catch you in another drama!
