Thanks for your sharing. I am contemplating on whether to watch this. I like both Allen and Angelababy past works.…
I would say it is a slow-paced show and more character-driven than plot-driven.
The first 10 episodes focused on showing the characters' backgrounds and history but still left some mystery around why certain things were happening to the FL.
There is some focus on psychological counseling in the form of the FL's lectures and therapy treatment methods, but I don't see it as the show's focal point.
40 episodes do seem too long so I probably will wait for another 10 to air before watching again since following it daily may feel too draggy...
I just discovered this drama is airing and binge-watched up to ep 11. So far, I like it, mainly because Allen Ren is playing a character much goofier than his usual tsundere style and I have always liked Angelababy.
It's an interesting story - for the first 11 episodes, I feel like I am watching a slice-of-life drama about a psychological counselor, a screenwriter, and the supporting characters around them. The plot is somewhat choppy since the ML's fiction is mixed in between the main storyline. I do like the style, though.
Certain sub-plots are unnecessary to me, like the bad stuff associated with the FL. The show should have gone with one villain for her instead of the double whammy.
The ML's brother is supposed to be for comic relief I think, but I utterly dislike his character at this point. He is a manipulator and an opportunist in the worst way.
Romance-wise, I expect it to be a very slow burn. Allen is the ML, after all, LOL...
I like the OST, but that one song is played way too many times. Is Allen the singer? Also, the instrumental bg music reminds me of the one used in Forever and Ever.
Overall, the drama is engaging enough for now. Let's see how the rest of the 40 (š±) episodes go...
The sistersā reunion was wonderful but Iām worried by what Min-Gi said. Im guessing that he is not a bad person out to harm BJE. His shaman bells can help her remember her past lives even more, I suppose.
But she shared some things with Seo Ha and he did not die
No I meant that when she was living as Ju Won, she did tell Seo Ha about her past lives. But maybe that doesnāt count because he didnāt believe her?
HiCan you please tell me if the lead girl is rude or annoying And if they have any breakups or miss understandings
Well, the female lead starts off being all hi-so (high society) so she is spoilt and somewhat obnoxious. She will get better though. Yes there are misunderstandings and there will be a breakup towards the end. Still the overall show is pretty good and the couple when together is very sweet to watch.

This show has raised my expectations- I tune in each episode knowing that I will be moved!
