When the cyber slander queen told her staff to target Xiao Bei and his dead sister, I wanted to throw something…
Yeah, I was really irritated at the whole slander influencer mainly because there are really despicable people out there like that in real life. I suspect it is Zhou Ji Kai creating trouble and chaos for Hui Bo (the streaming platform that Zhou Mu En manages.
Totally agree about Professor Luo, I really think he sold his principles! Everything he said about wanting to earn money and provide for his daughter's future is all BS. He just likes being fawned upon, being considered the "expert" that saves the company.
For a guest role, Xiao Mu En is in the show a lot and much longer than I expected. At this point, he's not adding much to the storyline but I am waiting to see if he will pop up as an undercover agent or A's side kick.
An Ni is so principled that she expects the same kind of faith and trust that she puts in her friends, so yeah, she is naive that way, especially about Yi Tang. She would never imagine that Yi Tang would ever betray her or stoop so low for a guy.
Ep 25 and 26 were a little abrupt, pivoting away from the trial and towards more public discourse about cyberbullying. Still interesting but a bit jarring.
a mine means lots lots lots of weapons. arrows, swords, soears.... it means ability to rebel n take the throne.
Yeah I was starting to get annoyed at FY and MX for trying to prevent him from killing that Hou official but they both have very good points. The whole school will get implicated and CWD will have yet another very serious crime charged against him.
I am anticipating the romance between MX and CWD but for now I am enjoying the sisterly love and care between MX and FY. Makes me sad when I read comments about what happened in the novel. I hope the show will change things up.

Yeah, usually period dramas show that people who own iron mines are in a powerful position and many of them plan to rebel by creating weapons from the iron...
it is a exciting full of actions episodes but I do feel really uncomfortable w the master shen n sun line. in…
Even in the time of danger, people try to find comfort and distraction from their situation. So them remarking on CWD and MX's future is in a way not surprising. I agree with you though, CWD could have escaped so much earlier and rescued the women by stopping the trap earlier...Only excuse that he was not thinking straight with MX around ;D The actress playing Master Shen was not that good so her portrayal was inconsistent and weak.
I'm getting the same vibes too! That explains why I like it so much.
I had the same thought while watching the show up to ep 14. BFY is always sincere and caring towards MX but MX is more secretive and at times has an agenda even using BFY to further her plan.
I like that An Ni is still portrayed as having flaws. She may be a hotshot brilliant prosecutor but she still has things to learn from her seniors. The mock trial was nicely done with Director Wang shooting holes in her arguments and he was able to see the trap laid out for An Ni in the real one. Goes to show that we should avoid making assumptions and there are many ways to spin the truth
Li Yi Tong just lowered herself to the negatives for a man who doesn’t give 2 figs about her. The cringe factor…
ikr, that whole dialogue with ZJK totally disgusted me but sadly, there are people like that in real life. They think it is enough to be with that person and that would make them happy. I think A has not shown his face yet. I am less confident in my guesses about his identity.
Can nobody identify the country they shot in? Which country has that many black and white folks living together?I'm…
I think the show is being deliberately vague to be "politically correct". Nowadays there's lots of places with multi-racial populations...many Carribean countries, the US, etc...
