I think he does suspect. He’s not at odds with his father because of Minister Qi, he already had issues when his father left his mom and him. He was helping Minister Qi gather evidence against Lei Jing but now he’s finding out more and more that Qi’s real target is his father. Not sure if you watched the latest episodes so I won’t spoil further 😁

Apparently in the past she was like that too until the unfortunate episode with her ex. And now because of that Ke guy and SRZ’s instigation, she’s starting to think she’s too good for the normal people

I suspect GQF will realize very soon that Minister Qi is not someone to trust!

That was one of the highlights for me - the show acknowledging a hole that we the viewers have been pointing out 🤣🤣🤣

GQF asking Pan Er if she would still marry him if he did not get Censor Qi to be the matchmaker? No hesitation, not even a pause about what marrying Pan Er would do to his career.
Then Pan Er wanting to switch business so that she would not negatively impact his career. She even did research into what is suitable for an official’s wife!

I know I’m supposed to be impressed but the scene of GQF slicing up the carp and dejuicing the orange made me laugh instead. The men’s reaction seemed farcical too.
Young Xiao master and Yinzhang are perfect for each other - both like to run their mouths off

The thing is only us the viewers see her thoughts and hear her monologues. It’s not surprising that the other two do not know what sort of thinking YZ has about GQF. To them she has only openly expressed admiration.

I think she sees it as Yinzhang admiring and looking up to GQF. She said that Yinzhang talked about GQF incessantly to the point he was like a deity

That makes sense - I often wonder their PDAs are acceptable during that time so maybe she was embarrassed to be caught hugging, and then going through the mixed emotions you described. Most important is that she ends up with happiness!

Totally agree - Saimai will want to hook onto Khun as a way to get to Taiwan’s inheritance. Or she will plot with Wat to get the inheritance through Wadee and Payu. In any case, we know she will cause some stress!
Can’t wait to see Ache and Namcha together - they will make such a cute couple!
