Ah, darn that LYN—he’s just too good. Nan Heng’s sadness and hopelessness were captured so perfectly through his expressions, and with his OST playing in the background... I just wanted to cry along with him.
I’m so incredibly frustrated. CGH knows he wronged Nan Heng by abandoning him, and yet he still has the audacity to blame NH for abandoning him. It’s infuriating. And to make it worse, he allowed himself to be manipulated—even by his own father—into siding with that utterly useless Nan Rui over Nan Heng.
As for Song Yi Meng, her stubbornness is exhausting. She can clearly see the plot has shifted, but she still clings to the outcomes of those iconic scenes instead of trying to change them. Her lack of growth is getting hard to watch. I was genuinely relieved when Li Shi Liu finally called her out and told her some hard truths.
Started today and binged until ep 9. LXY and MZY are just so gorgeous to look at and I really like their chemistry. The drama itself is ok, the editing is not the best but for those two, I can overlook the negatives.

The actor playing the Emperor in this show and the Princess's Gambit is having it easy - both are just a**holes!
Whever who pick the soundtracks - genius...
