That would be just mind-boggling. I donāt think the actor has ever played a villain so to play someone convincingly…
I love that actor so it would be great if they cast him in the ultimate villain mode. Just seems that he is in the perfect position to manipulate everyone while pretending to be a buffoon
itās not that she didnāt read the script. She see everyone as one dimensional characters on a sheet of paper…
Thatās a good point! Although I still think she didnāt read the entire script. I wonder if the show will show more backstory to all the important scenes she highlighted just like what really happened during the Lantern Festival
His mother is not the Empress. His mother is a concubine from the very powerful Gao family, and is still alive.…
Oh then I have to rewatch because I thought it was his mother that got killed. Regardless Iām on team NH against CGH - I donāt trust the SML. As for the FL, I am not for her or against herā¦I just think that she is operating with her limited knowledge of the script and prejudice. I canāt wait for her to find out more about the many sides of him.
Should I said I also team Nan Heng (btw omg this name is a same name from my daddy ) Hey chingu hugss!!! I'm probably…
Hey there, Chingu! Yeah I think CGH must have done something to cause the death of NHās mother and cause NH to take the blame. Even now heās all sneaky!
I am still team NanHeng - I feel that the FL only read parts of the script and did not know how sheās misunderstood the ML so much! When she kept putting NH down and comparing him to CGH, I felt more and more indignant on his behalf. She has no idea what happened during his motherās death. I think CGH is not that good of a person š”
Wacky fun yet heartwarming show! I wasnāt expecting to tear up quite a bit at the end but that shows how much the show was able to create a story that connects with its viewers. Recommended!
Sorry but this time I am wth the fl. Fl also don't know why he is trying to kill her. Now he would take advantages…
When I say that sheās biased is when he shared so many examples of his past achievements and she only saw negatives, when others would have thought those were good deeds. Anyway, I did say I could be biased in my original comment š so no surprise there!

Oh, I got the impression that the FL knows why he is after her.
For now, they are both fooling each other. The FL is so biased against him, based on what she read in the script, that no matter what she hears about him, she will immediately peg him as a villain. Whereas he has to resort to tricking her since he knows she is clearly plotting against him.
Team Fl all the way . No matter how much misunderstood ml is , that can't change the fact first he tried to use…
It seems the FL and ML are both trying to use each other to serve their own ends. He had no intention of killing herāat least not until he suspected she was performing some kind of sorcery on him. Once he sensed something was off, he deemed her too dangerous to keep close. And to be fair, she was scheming against him, leveraging the SML in her plans. And after that, she wants his alter ego to kill him.
Perhaps thatās the deeper premise of the show: characters struggling to break free from the roles the screenwriter has forced upon them. After all, there is no true past or first lifeāonly the script the FL was reading before she was pulled into its world.
Maybe Iām biased but Iām totally team Nan Heng. The poor guy canāt catch a break with everyone misunderstanding him or are afraid of him. I cannot wait for the FL to finally realize his good points!
LYN got another great role! Heās so versatile and itās obvious that heās getting even better each time! LYT is excellent as well! They both are so good together. I think I might get second lead syndrome - WYS is just so attractive!
