I love that actor so it would be great if they cast him in the ultimate villain mode. Just seems that he is in the perfect position to manipulate everyone while pretending to be a buffoon

That’s a good point! Although I still think she didn’t read the entire script. I wonder if the show will show more backstory to all the important scenes she highlighted just like what really happened during the Lantern Festival

Oh then I have to rewatch because I thought it was his mother that got killed. Regardless I’m on team NH against CGH - I don’t trust the SML. As for the FL, I am not for her or against her…I just think that she is operating with her limited knowledge of the script and prejudice. I can’t wait for her to find out more about the many sides of him.

Hey there, Chingu! Yeah I think CGH must have done something to cause the death of NH’s mother and cause NH to take the blame. Even now he’s all sneaky!

I am still team NanHeng - I feel that the FL only read parts of the script and did not know how she’s misunderstood the ML so much! When she kept putting NH down and comparing him to CGH, I felt more and more indignant on his behalf. She has no idea what happened during his mother’s death. I think CGH is not that good of a person 😡

I love that the generals and men for both the ML and SML care so much about their “bosses” happiness and their love lives!

Wacky fun yet heartwarming show! I wasn’t expecting to tear up quite a bit at the end but that shows how much the show was able to create a story that connects with its viewers. Recommended!

I don't think anyone at least me and the others commenting on my post called her dumb or anything like that.

When I say that she’s biased is when he shared so many examples of his past achievements and she only saw negatives, when others would have thought those were good deeds.
Anyway, I did say I could be biased in my original comment 😁 so no surprise there!

Oh, I got the impression that the FL knows why he is after her.

For now, they are both fooling each other. The FL is so biased against him, based on what she read in the script, that no matter what she hears about him, she will immediately peg him as a villain. Whereas he has to resort to tricking her since he knows she is clearly plotting against him.

It seems the FL and ML are both trying to use each other to serve their own ends. He had no intention of killing her—at least not until he suspected she was performing some kind of sorcery on him. Once he sensed something was off, he deemed her too dangerous to keep close. And to be fair, she was scheming against him, leveraging the SML in her plans. And after that, she wants his alter ego to kill him.

Perhaps that’s the deeper premise of the show: characters struggling to break free from the roles the screenwriter has forced upon them. After all, there is no true past or first life—only the script the FL was reading before she was pulled into its world.

So true - behind all that false rumors, he's really not that bad.

Maybe I’m biased but I’m totally team Nan Heng. The poor guy can’t catch a break with everyone misunderstanding him or are afraid of him. I cannot wait for the FL to finally realize his good points!

LYN got another great role! He’s so versatile and it’s obvious that he’s getting even better each time! LYT is excellent as well! They both are so good together.
I think I might get second lead syndrome - WYS is just so attractive!
