How is the rating so low? This drama was great!! The cringe and second hand embarrassment were on purpose because that's how Toh's character was, but he mellowed out as the episodes progressed. You even wondered why Nuea was attracted to that type of crazy, but he's low key just as insane as Toh and a whole ass sexual deviant. This drama had me laughing from start to finish and touched a lot of issues. You can't find a better friendship group than Toh's friends in a BL. Every couple had a story and the side characters also served a purpose. I now understand the BillySeng hype. They were great, especially Seng having to portray crazy ass Toh!!! Lmao his character. There is CRAZY then there's Toh!!! I'm glad his friends constantly called out his creepy, obsessive behavior, while trying at the same time to help him fight it.
Probably the straightest BL I've seen. I felt nothing but a nice bromance between these guys. They didn't bring the heart fluttering feelings to me. Jang Eui Soo is just so fricking pretty though. It's like everytime I see him, he goes through some sexy ass glow up. Also, the conflict here made no sense.
Ugh, I swear...love makes us dumb AF sometimes. Solid remake, I enjoyed it. I'm glad they developed out their relationship more in this one and made Vee.....softer I guess, but again, I still can't stand Vee in this one like I did in the first one. He wanted his cake and to eat it too. It's still a story of how Mark graduated from side-chick to main bitch status, while being petty as ever about it and still running back to Vee after whatever the heck was the misunderstanding of the week, but I'm glad that in this version, Mark made Vee work HARD for that trust.... and this version gets extra bonus for turning Vee, who was a walking red flag, to like the best boyfriend material in the end, but he still annoys me. That YinWar chemistry is top notch though and Yin's acting has gotten SO much better. Glad they changed out Bar & Gun actors, even though I loved Folk as Bar. If it wasn't for Nuea ending up with Praram, I would've preferred him with Mark. P.S - The first half of episode 9 had me CRACKING UP!!!!
I watched both. This was cute, but the two boys were so dense to the point it was annoying. Communication is key. This could've been smoother if they had just properly talked it out instead of all the inner monologs
Great concept, terrible execution. The story didn't really flow well and it was all choppy. But I'm glad we're getting more horror BLs. This vampire version was lame too.
Was alright. The editing was weird, but from all the hoopla it got, I was expecting more I guess. Birdy stood up for everything, but his own feelings. The fact it's based off a true story made this even sadder. It just wasn't their time. I can't believe they CGI'd in the bird. Were the birds too busy to film that day or something?
I swear, there isn't a better duo than these two. Rio better cherish Haru. Don't know why he settled for that chain smoking chimney, but I too would go soft for Kijima Rio.
I still watch this and laugh every time Kenta backs the camera with that shirt on with the Kanye quote. I'm wondering if it was intentional or they didn't vet the shirt before filming. 😂😂😂 "I'm living in the future, so the present is my past. My presence is a present, kiss my ass."
Wow, the amount of emotions I went through watching this show. Disgust, annoyance, confusion, anger, second hand embarrassment then finally, understanding & acceptance. This was extremely well acted especially coming from the guy that played Hira. I wouldn't even know where to begin to describe this BL. It's just two damaged boys falling in love. This was a lot to process. The only thing that was missing was a guest appearance by Kotani Yoshikazu, since these type of BLs are right up his alley.
Finally finished. I liked it. BUT.....I just don't like Terrence. He's just too wishy washy for my liking. Kokoy and Elijah are great actors and have a great onscreen chemistry. I would love to see them do something else together and I find Pearl annoying. I also LOVE that they also talked about having kids here. In other BLs, they make it out like it's the hardest thing they can accomplish. Also....LOLLLL at that ending.
P.S - The first half of episode 9 had me CRACKING UP!!!!
