I think they should change the poster here to a vertical one, or add a new one, because I keep tilting my head to look at the poster above every time. lol 😆
ML's name is just being used for promotion and billing to attract investment, but he is just a love interest in the drama with little screentime. It's sad to see that. So unfair.
Finished the final episode. 8.5/10 for me. It had its moments, a lot of times I wished the writing should’ve been better and editing too. The main cp’s chemistry is great and New is so beautiful. It’s at least enjoyable.
I am thinking about something. This type of marriage proposal from Lion, making his friends and everyone jealous and envious: "We'll travel the world together. I'm a captain, you're a flight attendant. No one suits me better than you." This is exactly the kind of thing Kanit once dreamed about... yet, in the end, he was ready to say no and give it up. Sometimes, everything changes when you finally get what you've always dreamed of.
this is so well said! We love to see flawed characters in media. not everyone can be a green flag. and even if…
Yes, It looks like people wanted Kanit to be innocent and cute (like he couldn't be someone shameless or needy enough to ask Toto to sleep with him). People seem to think that a pretty, sophisticated princess like him shouldn't stoop that low or something. That's what I think.
I like Kanit because of the way his character is written. It has nothing to do with whether I like the actor or not. Some of you seem to think that if someone likes or defends Kanit, they must automatically be a fan of the actor, and that's simply not true.
Kanit isn't mentally strong, and that's exactly what makes him interesting to me. Sometimes he reminds me of myself—someone who's insecure, struggles to see their own good qualities, and relies too much on other people's opinions for validation. He doesn't love himself enough yet, and I believe that's what his character arc is about: learning to love himself, probably through romance and personal growth.
People like him can end up hurting others because they're hurting themselves. He's constantly been judged, pressured by his family, and emotionally manipulated by his ex-boyfriend into doubting himself. He's also the kind of person who always tries to put everyone else first.
So please don't judge him by your own definition of a perfect green flag or a flawless, pure-hearted character. If that's the kind of character you prefer, that's completely fine—but Kanit simply isn't written to be that person, and that's okay too.
The Korean dialogue is "군인으로서의 대표적인 이력으로는 팔레스타인 공습 계획 3회"…
Ok. I understand now. It's becoming more and more common for K-dramas to be ignorant of other countries, cultures, and religions. Last time I dropped genie make a wish, and now this with Palestine? It's only getting worse.
It's silly and over-the-top at times, but I'll keep watching for the chemistry and the fun. P.S. New is such a visual- drop-dead gorgeous! I can't resist a pretty face. 😍🤩
