What I understood is that "time does not flow". They were only there for paradox. There is no original timeline since it's all happening in parallel dimensions. But for Saeha comeback alive, I have no clue.

I know that actor playing the new dude. He is a Korean-American actor who acted in the Maze Runner films. It looks like they planned it and made him the main character for the sequel. Since Disney+ is well-known in US, I won't be surprised if they come up with it.
