Last episode is going to be 90-105 minutes long...that's like an hour and 45 minutes.
Really? Is that confirmed?

I'm confused. I can't recognise DoWon oppa. He's too different from chief resident Koo DoWon to recognise. They…
I actually don’t think he changed all that much. In the first couple of episodes, we already saw that he has a pretty dorky side outside of work. He was goofy and teased OIY even before they were a thing. Even OIY herself pointed out that he can be kind of thoughtless and clumsy when he is being her in-law, as opposed to when he is her senior at work.

But yeah, for most of the drama, we mainly saw him as the “mature” chief resident who acted distant after OIY confessed. So for some people, this shift might feel a bit sudden.

Of course, now that they’re dating, he’s way more lovey-dovey, but that goofiness was always there as long as it wasn’t in the workplace :D

Also, this drama skips through time a lot between episodes, so things can feel a bit rushed. By the end of ep. 9 and into ep. 10, they had already been dating for a month. I do wish we got to see more of the early stages of their relationship, but since this isn’t primarily a romance drama, the writers seem to be focusing more on the slice-of-life vibe and trying to fit their whole first year of residency into 12 episodes… which means we don’t get much of the actual dating moments or development on screen.

Watching the commentary right now and WHAT? The director & writer Yoo Su Min is the older brother of actor Yoo Soo Bin! I didn't know that at all lol

I'm so happy reading all the comments from people who are loving this beautiful drama! It really took its time to grow into something so heartwarming and enjoyable. Each lead character had their own meaningful development and the friendship dynamic is still evolving, but it's been such a wonderful journey. And the romance? Totally my cup of tea. It's always the dramas without a heavy romance focus that somehow have the best chemistry lol

We've grown so comfortable with these characters, it’s honestly sad that it’ll all come to an end next weekend 🥲 I really wish there were more K-dramas with this kind of genre and vibe...

Prayer circle for HP3 and RP2 🙏 These creators just know how to do dramas haha

So you think that’s it, there won’t be another one? 😢
Since it's not a romance drama, I actually doubt they will give us a proper kiss. Creators were also pretty stingy with some HP couples, so... we shouldn't get our hopes up :')

I'm kinda disappointed we got that kind of fake kiss... Especially when it's the first kiss. Seems like we won't get a proper kiss from them at all.

Sad :( I'm so invested in this couple, so that left a bit of a bad taste for my ship lol Well, they were still totally cute, but still... disappointed.

I'm sorry, I dropped this drama, I was expecting Kang You Seok will be the main lead in terms of romance. I waited…
Okay bye~

I hope Joo Yeong gets pregnant by the end of this drama. Must be hard on her to try for so long... Her husband is a total green flag as well. I feel they would be great parents.
If she gets pregnant, then Do Won and OIY will have to move out eventually. Maybe they'll move together somewhere else 🤭

If we ever get to know what kind of trouble OIY caused in that local hospital for her to quit/or get kicked out? Or where her deposit was used for a "good cause"... I guess I'm much more curious than Do Won, because her answers were so half-assed that I would've bombarded her more. We still don't know anything 😅

Title Resident Playbook Spoiler
There’s a lot of speculation that while OIY’s sister and her bro-in-law are away on their 4-day trip, Joo Yeong and Yi Yeong's father will show up. It makes sense since the timeline is in September and Chuseok is at the end of the month.
Honestly, I think it’s very likely. No way the writers would let Yi Yeong and Do Won have the house to themselves. That would be way too scandalous for the creators lol

I’m super excited to see who they cast as the father tho. Hoping it will be an easter egg. A famous actor maybe. Would love to see Ryu Seung Ryong as the father lol Then this drama tops as the drama, that had the best cameos ever haha

I've grown so attached to all the characters that the thought of letting them go already makes me really reluctant. This drama took its time to build the story and develop everyone so beautifully. It hit such a perfect balance now and is really enjoyable, that I'm honestly so so so sad that it's almost over.

I can picture so many more stories with these characters. Even the minor roles with barely any screentime were so well-done. I would’ve loved to see more of them too. I know it’s wishful thinking, but I really hope they consider a second season. I think it did pretty well in Korea, ratings and recognition-wise...

Hospital Playlist S3 and Resident Playbook S2 are at the top of my wish list. They’d make me so happy! I'm honestly just tired of all these mediocre romcoms coming out one after another... I need more slice-of-life dramas with just a touch of romance. They do that combo so well... why is there so little of it? 😭

Just finished this and really enjoyed it! The fight scenes were incredible, especially the rooftop battle between Si Eun and Geum Seong Je. I don’t usually watch many action dramas, since fight scenes often bore me lol But not here! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And the acting? Absolutely top-notch!!

Park Ji Hoon’s eyes were made for this kind of role. It’s honestly amazing how someone with such a cute and innocent appearance can be so intimidating just through his eye acting.

Also I know it comes down to personal taste which season people prefer, but for me, S1 is still unbeatable. Maybe it’s because I gravitate more toward character depth than fast-paced, action-heavy storytelling. S1 felt character-driven, while S2 leaned more into plot. It’s hard to explain, but the characters in S1 had more depth and development. I think S2 needed more episodes to build the same kind of emotional connection and friendship dynamic. I just couldn’t connect to the bonds in S2 as much and the pacing felt off at times. It had potential to be even better with a longer run.

Still, a really solid sequel and definitely worth watching!

I love how DW is always smitten by OIY's chaotic antics. When she smiles lovingly, no reaction from him, but the moment she curses or does weird stuff like eating that crab legs, he has honey dripping from his eyes hahaha

I'm so proud of Jae Il! He's grown so much more confident but still kept all of his lovable charm. That scene with the intern describing their “unwell being” cracked me up haha It was just them being themselves and their personalities. And then the comparison of each of them during a birth. I love how unique and quirky they all are.

The cameo was great too! I really missed Ik Sun. It would’ve been perfect if she did her tissue bidulgi move, tho hahaha

"Don’t worry, I’m a famous doctor!” LOOOL OIY is seriously the best! She had zero confidence but still gave it her all to reassure the mother that everything would be okay.

And the scene of her secretly devouring those marinated crab legs even though there is nothing to eat. I’m falling for OIY more and more. She’s unintentionally hilarious, totally unhinged and chaotically lovable haha

Why is everyone in such a frenzy over the anesthesiologist? There’s no love triangle here. We’re watching a Shin PD drama, not some over-the-top makjang lol He’ll disappear just as quickly as he showed up. No need to worry haha

Honestly, I thought the moment between OIY and the anesthesiologist during the emergency delivery was really sweet. But he’s clearly not a real rival to DW. If anything, maybe he’s just here to give DW a little push to finally make a move.

Shin PD was right. Ep 7 really is a phenomenal episode!! I loved every second of it and repeated so many scenes. It took me two hours to watch this episode lol

I loved the scene where all departments came together and every single one of them were so supportive and emotional! Such a heart-warming and also funny scene! Was hilarious when OIY and that anesthesiologist hugged each other the second time hahahaha
