Li Meng is such an incredible actress! She always plays those villain roles, but I can't seem to hate her, because her characters are always quite pitiful and her acting just makes me have sympathy with her 🙈 I really hope she gets a main lead role soon, because I would love to root for her character once!

I really liked this one! Of course, some things were questionable but overall there was no boring episode and I loved the leads! ❤️

Him literally FLYING onto that couch has got to be one of the funniest scenes I’ve seen in a while LMAOOO 😭 I never thought THIS drama would have me nearly dying on the floor laughing 😂

I replayed that scene way too many times because the way he just launches himself onto that couch is absolutely sending me 😭😭

And you cannot convince me that wasn’t Luan Nian’s real personality coming through. That man is a comedian at heart 😂

This starts to get draggy, with not much going on. And I don't like ML's behavior - he's very intrusive, overbearing…
My thoughts exactly... especially about ML's behavior and the drastic change after she became a pilot. I just can't get behind how quickly they fell for each other without anything significant happening that would make all that history between them suddenly not matter?!

I actually think they had the perfect setup for a really good enemies-to-lovers story based on their past. But the relationship development just felt so unnatural and unconvincing. Like, he basically fell for her the second she stepped out of that plane and she fell for him because he was suddenly semi-nice to her while constantly intruding on her life?!

There was so much potential to actually make him reflect on how horribly he treated her, slowly earn her trust and have their feelings develop naturally from there. Instead, it felt like the past was just brushed aside so they could rush into the romance >_<

And I guess if I've watched this many episodes and still can't root for them as a couple, then this just isn't my kind of drama. Time to drop it...

I’ve enjoyed the episodes so far, but I’m in the middle of ep. 10 right now and this has got to be some of the worst writing I’ve ever seen...

Don’t tell me THE POLICE actually played a real murder video on a huge screen in front of an auditorium full of MINORS?! Are you kidding me?? Just casually traumatizing everyone in that room. FOR WHAT?!

Like, what the heck. Did the writer, director, cast or literally anyone involved not stop for a second and question that scene?

And what was even the reason for doing it? They already had the evidence. There was absolutely no need to put on this whole show in front of a bunch of kids. It was clearly done solely for dramatic effect, but with absolutely zero logic or reason behind it.

I’ve actually defended this season quite a few times because I do like the addition of the new FL and I love the overall team dynamic, but sorry, this is some seriously questionable writing.

Absolutely stupid.

Hmm, I don't really know what to think of this yet. I'm stuck in the middle of ep. 3.

I do enjoy it, but it kinda gives me the ick that the ML was absolutely horrible to her when she was a flight attendant. He looked down on her, embarrassed her in front of other people and accused her of wanting to marry up. Even if that was based on a misconception on his part, the way he treated her was just so arrogant and narcissistic.

But now that she's a pilot with a bright future ahead of her and a high-status career, with "no need to marry up," he's suddenly all over her and tries to get close to her? And she already seems to be softening toward him over that bare minimum?! I mean, yeah, she's still hostile toward him, but not nearly as much as I'd like her to be...

It just makes his feelings seem incredibly shallow to me, knowing that she was practically invisible to him when she was a flight attendant. He didn't even recognize her, even though everyone else did. But now that she has a different status, he suddenly "sees" her, listens to her and is interested in her?!

I don't know... I just don't want to root for an ass like that. Especially if there's no proper repentance or serious groveling coming. I need him to have a really, really, REALLY hard time winning her over because right now he absolutely does not deserve her softening toward him this quickly.

I mean, I love Da Reum & Hagi, but after thinking about the last episode a bit more, I feel like most of us viewers, myself included, naturally watch the drama through “main lead glasses.” We automatically put the ML in a slightly different position and tend to let certain things slide because, well, he’s the ML ... 😅

But if I try to look at it from another perspective, Hagi actually has been the third wheel quite a few times, inserting himself between Da Reum and Chan. And I can totally understand why Chan will feel extremely hurt by what’s happening now.

Hagi knew that his “bestie” Chan liked Da Reum and had been going on dates with her, yet almost immediately after she rejected Chan, Hagi started dating her. Especially considering that Hagi never admitted to Chan that he liked Da Reum in the first place. Looking at it purely from a friendship perspective, that’s honestly not great behavior either and actually makes him a very bad friend. And it makes me understand Chan’s comment about maybe Hagi never seeing their friendship the same way Chan did.

I think that’s what I’m realizing after reflecting on the last episode: all of these characters are flawed. I love Hagi as the ML and I’m rooting for him and Da Reum, but he hasn’t exactly been a good friend to Chan. Especially now that he’s dating Da Reum and apparently isn’t going to tell him. And in some ways, he’s now doing the exact same thing he was upset with Chan for doing, which does make his behavior feel hypocritical.

So if Chan does end up going down a darker path in the next episodes, I might actually understand where some of that resentment is coming from. That doesn’t mean I’d excuse everything he does, of course, but I can understand his perspective. Just try to think of this in a friendship perspective, not the romance one.

I just really hope they don’t turn him into some stereotypical jealous villain because I genuinely liked their friendship and was hoping it would survive all of this T-T

Obviously this is a fluffy workplace romcom, but is no one going to acknowledge how bad the optics will be for…
I actually thought about that as well... Even literally before the kiss, Hagi said "as the CEO he has to think twice before making a decision", but just seconds later, he kissed her. Did he even think once? lol

Great episode again! I’ve loved every ep so far! ❤️

Now let’s see if this drama falls victim to the kdrama curse, because annoying exes or past loves always seem to be the beginning of the downfall of an otherwise amazing drama 😭 I’m excited for their dating era, but at the same time I’m already anxious because almost every kdrama I’ve watched lately seems to fall apart somewhere after the halfway point.

It almost feels like Kdrama writers are competing to see who can write the worst final eps. Hopefully this writer won't compete lol

I've watched until ep 18 and paused, because I was busy... but reading recent comments, I don't feel excited to watch further :'(

If all the suffering, villains and plot feel forced, it just doesn't resonate with me anymore. I know it's a drama but if it's too exaggerated for dramatic purposes, it's becoming boring. So maybe I will wait until its finished and consider picking it up again 😅

Kim Hye Jun is so romcom coded! Why did I never see her in a romcom before?! I've actually just watched her in "A Shop for Killers" and here 😅 But she should definitely do more romance or comedy, because she's slaying! I love her expressions and her voice is so gentle and nice to listen to. She reminds me a bit of Seo Hyun Jin :D I hope she's doing more romcom in the future ❤️

In episode 7 Chan took Dareum clothes shopping and tried to make her wear short dresses that he liked but they…
Yes, you're right. I get your views. He's definitely too self-centered. But I still think he's not a bad guy. I still feel bad for him, but I definitely get now where you're coming from 😅

Title My Bias, My Boss Spoiler
When the scandal came out I imagined a scene where Ha Gi tells reporters Da Reum is his girlfriend and since he's…
That would actually be a great idea to cover this up real fast. But I'm sure they're not that clever lol And I guess being together with her boss won't be that good for Da Reum as well. People just to love to gossip and make every relationship a scandal 😅

Title My Bias, My Boss Spoiler
I loved ep 7! I feel like both of them slowly recognizing their feelings and if not for that news call by the end, I guess Hagi would've confessed. I hope Da Reum will stay at Appello. She loves her job T-T

And I can't be the only one who feels bad for Chan?! I mean, I don't really get the hate he gets. They just don't fit as a couple, but he's not a hateful person. I mean I love Da Reum and Hagi together, but I still have a soft spot for Chan and don't want him hurt. He will feel so guilty in the next episode, even tho it's not his fault. But the entertainment business is a lion's den, his agecy will try to throw Da Reum under the bus and his ex is evil af. He doesn't have any luck...

Also I love Hagi's and Chan's friendship and just hope they won't ruin that. I guess what I hate more than romance breakups are friendship break ups over a woman/man 😅

My only gripe with this drama is Kang Ha Gi constant deadpan expression. I know he's supposed to be written as…
Deadpan? I mean, he tries to look nonchalant, but he doesn’t come across that way to me at all.

I guess some people just aren’t good at picking up on micro-expressions. Even in that scene where he tried to show off his packaging skills in front of Da Reum, you could clearly see him pouting when she ignored him lol And when Da Reum told him that the guy she was meeting was someone she’d had a crush on for a long time, he looked like he was about to tear up. You could literally see his eyes getting red and teary...

Do people really need extremely exaggerated facial expressions to recognize emotions?
