This drama has only 12 episodes and the main premise is about ghosts and solving cases and their relationship evolving... yeah I know she's a CEO and business stuff is included... but tbh I don't really care for this kind of subplot of evil relatives and obsessive 2MLs, as it's nothing special and frankly just boring at this point. We have dozen of these plots, so I'm a little bummed out that the focus shifted towards that and I really hope we're getting back on track in the next episode.
Just a thought... but the assassin organization plot isn't even unrealistic 😂 What's unrealistic is that Tae Song grew up with a mother like that and somehow still became such a respectful, green-flag husband. Like HOW?! lol
Especially when his older sisters clearly adopted the same awful mindset. I genuinely don’t understand how they’re comfortable watching their sister-in-law work her ass off for THEIR ancestors while they do nothing, then just show up to a meal she prepared. I’d feel so uncomfortable 😭
I hate Tae Song's mother and older sisters. They are horrible... it's sad that there are countless real people like that out there >_>
Otherwise I really, really liked ep 5! And I really love their relationship. I'm curious about their backstory, how they got together and Bo Na's past. Tae Song also seems to have some things he hides. His nightmares of the past(?) and that message on his phone...
I agree with the comments saying that this drama deserves better rating. I think a lot of people rated this low because they expected somewhat more angst and much darker vibes, but I rather think the current vibe is quite refreshing and fits the story more. And I'm sure it's getting darker in the second half of the drama.
Every Chinese drama is dubbed either by the actors themselves or voice actors because there's a lot of background…
hmm... but that's not true. Not every cdrama is dubbed. Most of them are especially historical or costume, but not all of them. You can often hear which are dubbed and which are not. Recently I feel it's getting more, even in modern dramas which usually have less dubbing.
I really enjoyed the first two eps! I'm really liking the story so far and the leads are compelling as well. But I'm honestly considering letting this one marinate, because we're getting only one ep per day next week and on only 4 days... that's just torture 😭😂
One thing that bums me out is that it's dubbed. I really miss hearing the actors' real voices in C-dramas. It feels like almost every historical/costume drama I've watched lately has been dubbed. I know some actors use their own voices, but overall dubbing is still a downgrade for me. I don't know why... I’ve watched so many cdramas already, but I just can't get used to it.
It just takes away a part of the performance somehow. idk how to explain, but you know what I mean lol

It's kind of annoying watching just one ep because it completely changes the flow and how invested I get haha xD I honestly don't know how I manage with kdramas or even american shows lol It just hits differently when you can be fully immersed for two hours straight or more 😭
Maybe I should just let it marinate for a bit... but I'm seeing so many spoilers all over social media and it's so annoying not being caught up because of that...
Hmm… I really liked the first 5 eps a lot, but ep. 6 was… idk… weird?
FL’s behavior was extremely unprofessional and childish in this episode. It kinda felt out of character and was just weird to watch. Personally, them getting together like this felt rushed to me and didn’t give me the butterflies I had in the beginning.
Oh man… another kdrama doing this to me?! They always start off great and then suddenly it feels like the writers handed the script over to AI or something. Well, I really don’t know anymore… I’m having mixed feelings now.
And seeing how the preview is already bringing in the ex trope makes me feel like this drama is heading straight into the same old lame clichés.
I was actually really excited about this drama before watching ep. 6. Oh, how fast the night changes T-T

LJW is a great actor... but he sucks at picking scripts. Haven't seen a good drama of his as ML since AOS. A pity :') Maybe he has better luck after his military service ...

If the FL just told the ML, "Hey, I want revenge on my horrible mother and I need money for my grandma hospital bills because my mom stole the money dad actually left me" he would literally join her revenge mission the next day 😭
That’s why I can’t really get emotionally invested in the angst or even in the plot? It feels like one of those plots where the writers are forcing conflict that could be resolved with a single honest conversation in 5 minutes.
And it seems like he already knows she's her daughter, which makes FL's secrecy make even less sense.
Well, K dramas at it again... what a messy, incoherent ending to an otherwise phenomenal show. Honestly, some of the theories people were coming up with on Twitter were better than what actually happened in that last episode 😂
But you know what? This drama brought me so much joy over the past few weeks that I'm not even that mad about the poorly written ending. They got their happy ending, even if the journey there made very little sense ...
What I do know is that this couple had me completely invested!! They were such a unique, hilarious, chaotic, romantic pair. It's so rare to find a couple that can carry the romance, the comedy, the melodrama and all the emotional moments so effortlessly. I've genuinely never seen another pairing quite like them.
And the acting! Not just the leads, but the entire cast was phenomenal. I'm especially happy the drama was so well received domestically because these actors absolutely deserve all the recognition they're getting.
I'm going to miss this couple so, so, so much. Honestly, I feel like a couple like this comes around once in a drama century ❤️
Seo Ri's way of speaking changed a lot after she woke up. She hardly uses a Joseon accent anymore. A few traces of it still come through in her tone and delivery, but her grammar and vocabulary sound almost entirely modern now ...
