The Tan issue, it feels very bad, actually they try to show all Koreans were poor and miserable, which is not true actually. I have no idea why they have them tan, to make them look villagers or country side people? What a shit load of nonsense!!!
CCW can never play good roles now, he s either jerk or bastard. After his BL series his career really bloomed, but he has since played jerk roles only. May be his face is like that he is plotting evil all the time.
Political turmoil, poor-rich family, nice people treated like hit, while not so rich but rich trying to push those people down by putting fake smile on their faces.
They were never friends. yes you can get jealous when one is more capable than you, it is natural instinct, and it is very normal, but not normal is you let other people take a fall for your crime, by reminding them or making them feel that you are indebted to their kindness.
Kindness remains kindness, until it is reminded. The deed is gone when you remind someone of it.
This series is just a suffering till end, probably with sad ending.
As it is set in 70s, so it is third republic, and it is also set in 80s, which saw short lived Fourth republic followed by Fifth republic in 1981. The historical timeline between these two decades actually shaped Korea, so much bloodshed, power greed and rise to an other dictator, so not sure with such background will they make story a happy end or not.
p.s. he was playing Schubert on that street piano, not the norm, first time hearing it in a drama for me. My only…
the street one wasn't what mentioned but the before it was Mozart, also the street piano performance obviously was fake, when he lift the finger off the keyboard, the sound of piano playing was still coming. So anyway...it just a typical piano obsession.
Korean series and their obsession with Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin's symphony 9. Making these music pieces to the tragic past of every lead is just too typical of them.
This damn cake, my god....don't know how it is going to be better with all the reference they are making, from previous material, as it is not dramatise and as a viewer I am at loss who or what are they referring to.
Sequel? no issue, but made it like that you don't need the feel to have a prequel, in LSIII case a sequel is a must, as first episode felt incomplete without the backstory.
Don't know how is the future episodes, but for now it is not good. This series gives me BL vibes from six years ago, when they just started booming...
fucking disappointed in ep 15, they had him killed so easily, what a bonker, no justice for his crime, death is not a justice, living is hard. Being bullied or having abusive childhood, do no make murderers. FU writer.
The best part that effing mother that I hated throughout the series got her perfect revenge on her husband, and his mistress, loved it, this is called revenge.
You can't help but doubt SJH for is nice demeanour. He is one shaky guy for me, and after Crash Course, I will never look at him the same way as I did in VIP. First saw him in Page Turner, where he played a selfish, self-complex guy with shit personality, though his image restored in VIP but Crash Course again proved that he smiles alot, but his smile is evil smile.
In this series also, he is just way to nice, that obviously looks fake, even if it isn't then it is acting problem. Because usually good people in series, don't behave the he do. I am super suspicious of him.
I hope I am able to see past SYSPHUS shit, he was outstanding in secret, one of the best acting. Hope with this rom-com, I able to overcome his previous disaster.
