Hey, I have a question. Does someone care to explain me why no one from the family of already dead player reported…
The producers probably thought it wouldn't make any difference with the plot, and will just eat away some screen time. But yeah, in a real-world sense, some of the families would have probably filed a report already.
I don't know why ppl are so mad with the ending when clearly it is a way of saying that there likely will be a…
Well, what's new, people wanting their happily-ever-after endings, lol. But it could also be due to the inexperience, probably the first time they try to watch a genre outside romcom.
How I know that this is a good tv series is that the fans are respectful of other people's dissenting opinion. It means that the drama delivered a proper message, unlike other more popular, supposedly "healing dramas" out there where the fans are rabid, acting like they're the only ones entitled to air their opinion, lol. How ironic. Don't they know that Mydramalist is a forum, not a fans' club. So much toxicity.
Anyway, this series is totally more deserving of a higher rating, too bad that this was aired when Netflix was yet to be hub for kdramas.
Although I wanted them to, I really don't mind that the two leads didn't get back together because I understand that it's cliche already. But, really, that was it between Eiji and the controlling wife? No redemption arc for her? I'm utterly dissatisfied, lol.
I'll say this again, this guy is no doubt the best actor of his generation. He now got a Baeksang Best Actor award for both TV and Film. What a legend!
There seems to be a commotion happening in the Sweet Home page after an AIB fan started to compare the two series. Although I understand the point, but I suggest we keep our opinions here instead, since people here are more open to discussions. Besides, some people seem to be only looking for reasons to not watch AIB. Let's not give them that.
It is performing really solid across Western non-English speaking viewers. It has mostly hoovered around place…
I think what we can deduce from these data is that non-English speaking viewers are more open to exploring new content , whereas english-speaking viewers only rely on what is already a trend, which, in our present context, korean series and movies. We can safely say trends start in non-english speaking countries, and we can only hope that the AIB trend also reaches the US, UK, Australia shores soon enough.
Hmm it's okay if it didn't stand out to you. There is a reason why series become popular. It is either a lot of…
I think we have the same definition of a masterpiece, and I agree with you, this story is nothing we haven't seen before. In that case, I highly recommend that you watch Signal if you still haven't because its plot is really unique.
What do you mean? he is listed as one of the highest paid Actor(male) in korea XD, he is not that popular internationally…
Never did I invalidate other actors. They're good, but I just think that someone is better than them. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to his Hellbound project. There might be a big chance it'll be a hit since it will be shown in Netflix, plus it's a thriller, so hoping it will be as loved as Kingdom.
What do you mean? he is listed as one of the highest paid Actor(male) in korea XD, he is not that popular internationally…
I'm aware of everything you said. Yes, he's one of the top-paid, but he's like 7th, so there are those higher paid than him, and I meant it when I said that he's better than most of them. I believe he deserves more international appreciation.
I finished the drama and I admit it is one of the good ones. But higher ratings than Signal, My Mister or Reply…
That is because this drama has a bigger reach with it having been broadcasted real-time in Netflix. Also, the cast, especially KSH has a huge following. That's it. No special explanation.
Anyway, this series is totally more deserving of a higher rating, too bad that this was aired when Netflix was yet to be hub for kdramas.
