When Kim said the Knife was like a Tailsman but I think it's possessed with evil as whoever has that knife starts to attack or kill. If you look closely first Kim tried to attack Mi Rae then Mi Rae killed all the 4 people and finally why that guy wanted that knife badly when police has arrived still he was trying to kill Mi Rae while having the knife and got shot and blamed for all the killings. In the end Mi Rae repeated the same words to the cop what Kim had told her that it's like a Tailsman
He got fired from his job and his son was ill so what else can he do with no job. After killing them he commit suicide in the maintenance room of the office
