Absolute best family drama Ive watched. The bond between the siblings was magical. All of the relationships were amazing. Everything was realistic and made sense even the conflicts and resolutions. I love that considering his profession it was more so the SML(younger brother) who played the biggest part in the climax.
On episode 20 now, and what this male lead need is therapy... He is not being humble anymore, he has poor mental…
His character gets alot better as the show progressess. The moms death really scarred him. The FL helps him alot. She is kinda like the knight in shining armor. He is actually really smart but as you said due to his childhood he has never put himself first. The series addresses all of that too. The relationship with the siblings may seem bad now but I can assure you their bond with eachother is one of the best parts of the series.
1st drama I can recall where the best friend 100% has the FL back. When she told her to move on from the family and live her life eventhough she was close to that family as well I knew she was a keeper. She didn't even care that her brother had feelings for the FL she still sided with her being with the ML and wasn't hiding it at all.
ML, FL, daughter, FL best friend, FL SIL, and ML brother were my favorites. I hate the fact that the ML brother probably won't get to spend time with ML and FL and their children due to his guilt.
I wish we got closure between SJ and CY. I don't get why most dramas ignore the fact that some characters have known eachother for years and have grown to love eachother in a non romantic way. After what SJ said to CY while he was in a coma I expected them to have some sort of conversation to resolve their issues because it seemed like the he saw her as a sister and for that relationship to break down like it did it wouldve been heartbreaking for both of them.
The ML is getting on my nerves right now. He acts oblivious to everything going on around him. Is so obvious that SJ is messing with DH because she is jealous but he continues to flirt with her right in SJ's face. Like dude everyone sees that SJ has a crush on you but you dont.....
1st off, Im so used to seeing the SML in good guy roles but he nailed this role to perfection. I saw how his arc was gonna go from the start and knew how it would end. What I didn't expect was the turn of events in the last few episodes. His acting was fantastic and although I knew how it would end part of me was kinda pissed that it was obviously leading to that because he did such a great job at making me hate him and in the last 2 episodes I forgave him .
2nd, the mom can kick rocks. I thought she was redeemable but she isnt.....
What tf is up with these dramas and their need to have couples seperate for long periods of time only to get back together in the last 5 mins?..... Ive seen it in a lot of dramas but this one takes the cake. It was no need for it. It wouldve been perfect if they reunited at the airport and we got lovey dovey stuff the last 20 mins..... His plan was for her to show up but he leaves in like 5 minutes instead of waiting🤣 I really liked this drama until the last few ep.
After 5 ep. I find it hard to stick to the show. It just feels directionless rn. The drinking is excessive. Is there a reason why they drink so much or is it something they never touch on?
