Man Shao and Ye Kai are friendship goals. Im on ep. 35 and after Shao's accident I felt like the actor portrayed Kai's emotions perfectly.

Me and my friends were talking about how cool a Wuxia style drama would be in modern times and if this is any indication, we were right. Eventhough its the republic era but still, close enough🤣

She is treating her like she is one of her soldiers rather than a daughter. Her hearts in the right place but her methods are so wrong. So many people have told her that but she still wont listen and the fact that she doesnt hide the face that she likes Yang Yang more is even worse.

I think he fell for her when she figured out the riddle which is why he threw the ball to her which signifies a proposal.

They arent engaged yet. In ep. 21 trailer the family broke off the marriage Im sure it was a ploy by LY family but he is so weak that he couldnt protect her so she just got a harsh wake up call. In ep.22 it seems like LBY is persuing her now and she is resisting for now🤣

I actually dislike LY the most. I think YS isnt picking on her. He is flirting with her but she is so ignorant to the outside world she cant tell🤣

Theyre working on part 2 rn but its not coming out no time soon

Jesus Lou Yao is boring as hell. I skipped most of his scenes in ep. 14. Him and Niao Niao have zero chemistry. I guess it makes sense that she wants to marry him sense he spoils her but the mom has a point. Neither one of them really knows what love is🤣

She only wants to marry him because she can boss him around🤣

I felt sympathy for the mom at first because they were basically tricked into leaving her. But now I have no sympathy left for her. She treats her like she woul a soldier. I understand her coddling the cousin so she wont feel alone but the mom takes it too far with her insults and deminor.

I zoomed through the first 12 ep. Qfter holding out now I have to wait😭😭😭

CX was made for costume dramas🤣

The chemistry between the leads was incredible. Only draw back I have for the drama was the cliched misunderstanding that they seemed to force in there. Dude has been nothing but upfront and loyal throughout the series and you didnt go out of your way to try to figure out why he has gone awol and just decide that the relationship is over. Even after finding out that he didnt abandon you, you still act petty. They couldve spent more valuable time in other areas. Other than that this gets a 9/10 from me.

I loved their scenes together but after he gets promoted they barely have any scenes together until the last few episodes.

Why doesnt Darren Chen have more roles. I can honestly see him as being the king of rom coms in China. He has this sort of snarky humor to him🤣

So I was enjoying this. I didnt mind the amnesia plot at first because I read that he gets his memory back after like 10 ep. Then I find out that he gets amnesia from his amnesia and is still tricked by 2fl. I think im gonna skip to the last 6 ep or so. The leads have great chemistry too.

51 episodes of drama. After ep. 27 I wanted to see how long it would be until mL told FL how he knew her but that doesnt happen until like 20 ep. Later....smdh So after spoiling everything Im gonna pick up at ep. 46 and go to the end🤣
