honestly, i think this is best drama of 2020.this remind me of my favorite drama ashes of love soo much, but i still like AOL more. lmao.
the story was fine, i was able to guessed the plot and all, but still entertaining. the lead chemystry is really good tho, love it. i alsolike baishu as tengshe.
honestly, iam so annoyed at xuanji until 40ish episode, when jinmi in AOL free from her yundan, she became more mature, lovable and try real hard to par for her mistakes, but xuanji, after she gained all her senses and god of war power, she became more stupid. i cant believe this. sifeng, suppossed to be the oneshe love, i cant believe even after sifeng told her to kill him if he changed to sect demon, xuanji still didnt trust him.
iam also annoyed by this mortal people (all sect leader). like what chief of lize palace said, they r useless, how can they torture someone before looking for a proof -_-
also, if there is a man like sifeng in real life, how wonderful would that be, he literally love xuanji sooo much. all his tribulation life, keep getting killed by her but keep fall in love with her too. even after he know everything, or when she changed to luo huo jidu(a man), he still love her. damn sweet >//<
but, even tho i annoyed by xuanji and like sifeng more, i like yuan bingyan more than cheng yi. cant wait for her another drama!!

Cai minmin and he canyang!!
This one is really good, i found the first half of the drama was boring, but everything became interesting after their breakup.I dont really dispise luming, he is cocky but he is super kind and care to his niece, a lot. I even ship fanxiang and luming for a while, lmao.
But i like cai minmin and he canyang story the most, they r too cute i might combust >///<
Whatever happened at the end tho? There is no one explain if they still strong or breaking up ?
The one i hate the most was fanxiang's friend husband who cheated. Cheater have no right, esp if his wife is pregnant. Trash.
Songxue boyfie also kind, he has responsibility, i wish songxue told her boyfie first rather than running away. But glad it went well at the end.
I have no word for the leads, they have nice chemy, but it gets draggy too much, also the male lead personality didnt grown at all. So it kinda hard to see their scene. Whatever it is, i enjoyed it, i usually didnt like victoria's drama bcs i cant stand her acting. So i hold this for a while, glad i decided to watch this. Her acting also improved.

yang zi and ren cheng wei
this drama is just so much more, no words can describe how iam loving this drama. tbh, i thought it was gonna be a war theme based drama with the 2 main leads focuses like how they able to overcome their love in the middle of the war. but its not!! it was definitely not!!tbh, its shocking me that this war theme drama is not as depressed (even tho it is esp at the end), what i mean is, they mixed everything. slice of life-family-comedy and obv romance.
if i were to grade the character, xue junshan is obv my fav, at 1st i thought he is gonna be that cruel brother in law, but he is not. he love his family, his nephew, his son and wife. he may act like a gangster, but his heart is pure gold. ren cheng wei nailed this character.
second one, Yang zi takes the cake. her potrayal as xianxiang is just amazing. people maybe annoyed at 1st with the twins antiques (iam not, i love these two trouble maker since 1st episode, they making the show interesting for me), you could literally see her character develpment throughout the episodes. from this little brat to a nurse and to a mom. a very memorable scene of her definitely when she cried at the end, i cry with her too T.T
the story and the cast acting is really great, there is literally no one lacking, the music is not really important tbh, none really memorable, as for the rewatch value, altho this is such a great drama, fun and most of it a slice of life, but its still sad and depressed.

story
i watched this when i am in elementary school, and since then i draw my princess with their hats. iam so glad i found this again, and finally understand the story, bcs child me only liking their visuals and of course the xiao yanzi cuteness.i watched countless time after i finally found it couple years ago, idk how many times now. lmao . bestever! its quite dated, but overall, looks good, story wise and also character wise. zhao wei is excellent, this, romance in the rain, saolin soccer and mulan are my fav work from hers.

IKJUN BEST HUMAN!!
i personally watch this bcs jo jung suk is in the cast, he has incredible acting and can do anything. and i was right!!!him playing as ikjun is the best ever!! can sing, can dance, can act, handsome, also great at humor?? lee ikjun is literally jo jung suk in real life!!
thesecond best i like about this is the OST!! damn, i replying this over and over again, they r so talented. esp jo jungsuk and jeon mido. they did really well, their ost also charted so well, pretty sure jjs gonna got that Ost of the year!!
the third best character that i like after ikjun and songhwa is jang gyeo wool, i love her character development. the girl who dont care abt a patient, she did it her own way too~
about the ships, iam all for ikjun-songhwa, they r the sweetest, altho at 1st i like chihong, but when he cant take the hint with how many times songhwa reject him and he still pursuing her, and that day at the dinner with other nerosurgeon doctors, he crossed his lines. iam 100% IKSONG for endgame now!! def knewiksong gonna be super slow burn couple, but whatever, they r my endgame now

this is bomb f!! i love this!!literally falling in love with chinese drama bcs of this.
jinmi and xufeng love story is just too painful, the other love her too much while the girl notknowing at all is just too painful.
also, you could literally see their development esp jinmi, form the naive girl she sito the girl that can tell other people feeling ( when she confronted runyu).
my fav character of this series def jinmi, she is so pitiful...even at the end, she still pitiful...
earlier episode, when runyu still the gentle fish fairy, i like him more than xufeng. but when he become this evil, obsessed man, nah!
i literally dont understand that why people defend his action? bad childhood is not an excuse!! or bcs the actor is a good looking man? i literally want to throw him to the trash bin bcs of how selfish he is, great act from the actor tho.
the music is top notch, still repeat this until now.
i dont watch TMOPB till the end bcs i found that boring :v and totally different story with this, so i dont understand the comparison and similarity.
i still watch this repeatedly tho, again, great drama.

this is surpisingly super good, i love the story, love how they were told to us, love the cast act, love their friendship and i love how their character development. its simle story that woth seeing for.i especially likehow there is no moment to drag, like couple episode for their highschool, then moving on to their college life and then almost immedietly moving on to their work life. iam so glad they didnt drag everyting to long.
the femalelead just too cute, she is too adorable, her chemy with the male lead also good, i saw their other drama, buti still like this one better bcs of the story. what i like about the fl is, she didnt put hope to the second male, she know she only like the ML, and try her best to make hers and thesecond lead only friends. love it.
