I didn’t skip that much , I managed to get the core of it . You know like sometimes , you can skip a 10 second and 20 second a few time here and there .sometimes a minute or two a few times per episode . the time where I really skip badly was when they went to get the last part of the dragon power. Toward the end of that arc , that’s when I lost my patience 😞. Thank you for answering my questions about GJM. I hope Hidden Shadows doesn’t get shelved 😩😩. I feel bad for Li Hong Yi ( the others actors and team too) , most of his drama are being held captive in a cave 😭😭.

Okay, I’m a little disappointed…. I initially dropped it back when it was airing at episode 6. I picked it up again from the beginning because the first time I didn’t remember anything since it didn’t catch my attention. I was fine from 1-6, then 6-13/14, I struggled. I skipped through some stuff. For me, if a drama doesn’t catch my attention from episode 1, I still give it a chance till like episode 10. I managed to watch till 24/25, but with struggle and some skipping. I really just wanted to finish and get it out of my way to move on, so I skipped the rest and just checked the ending. It’s not something that happens to me usually. Most of the time, I always finish my dramas regardless of if I find them boring or not. If I drop it, it’s because I really can’t bear it anymore.

Story-wise, it didn’t really excite me or catch my attention. I was doing something else half of the time while watching it.

Romance-wise, I was more interested in the WuWu couple than Ji Ling and Lu Wu Yi. WuWu felt more like a mature couple. I would have loved to see more of those two. I’m a little sad that I didn’t feel the connection to the JiLu couple like others did. Alsooo, why does Joseph keep getting more and more handsome every time I see him? I need his secret 😂. Tian Jia Rui, I can’t wait to see him in more dramas.

GJM…… dramas are so similar yet so different too… Does GJM make all his dramas like that? Was it on purpose? Is this an original script? I hope the one with Li Hong Yi is more different. The OST, background sounds… did he used the same singer for the OSTs? (the OSTs are so similar, I really thought I was tripping), even the background sounds 😅😅. Story elements too. Except the romance was more present here. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem enough to catch my attention as much as I expected. The same actors toooo… He seems to like working with the same actors, and that’s not a bad thing. It gives the actors more exposure, but man, let them go too 😂😂. I wanna see them in other kinds of dramas.

It's already clear that he's not a Ding, and the comment on top was about him possibly being engaged/married to the Ding sister, not about him being a ding, unless it was edited and I haven't seen it. I don't know where they are saying that Zhan Zhao is a ding. I haven't seen those comments. I don't fully trust the cast list. I think the cast list sometimes doesn't show all names that the actors are playing because it would spoil the plot. Ex: Zhang Yue Xi doesn't have Ding Yue Ha under her name, but she's playing both. It can be confusing. 😩😩😩

I don't think they are saying that Zhan Zhao is a Ding. Zhang Yue Shi (ZYX) is playing the Ding sister. From what was said in an earlier episode, Zhan Zhao is allegedly engaged to Ding Yueha. It's not clear yet if he's really the Ding son-in-law or the future one.

She was partially veiled, and maybe he didn't recognize her because that was the last place he would expect her to be. Something can be right in front of your eyes, and still your brain doesn't recognize it because that's not its usual place. Like the last things you expected. Only logic explains what I could find for Dramaland lol.

it’s 6 usually ( two regular and 4 express for premium VIP) 5 is only when WeTv and IQiYi are both airing the drama or when it’s a co-production . However this time I was quite surprised too . I didn’t expect them to drop all 7 episodes. Since they dropped the first six episodes , it’s should’ve been the last 6 together but they decided to add one more.

I find it funny too. I don’t mind it either. I loved seeing the older generation from Blood of Youth in Dashing Youth as the youngest. Learning about their stories.
Between Dashing Youth and Blood River, it’s 3 years, I believe. So logically speaking, it should be 15–20 years between Dashing Youth and Blood of Youth, but then the timeline has some plot holes in it, so it doesn’t really make sense, but I just like to imagine it’s just 20 years later 😂.

between Dashing Youth and The blood of Youth I don’t think it’s twelve years, I don’t remember if it’s was specify or not. Between Blood River and Blood of youth it’s twelve years or around that. Also between The beginning of dashing youth and th end of it there’s a significant amount of time that has past. Probably a decade or so. Logically the characters should have age up.
However since The Blood of youth came out first , some stuff are bound to be inconsistent.

lmaooo all the comments about A Sheng are no shock. I knew since the beginning she was going to be like that. The character has been unlikable since the beginning.

Exactly . Very odd and repetitive.
I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with the kissing part. Romance is much more than that, a real relationship is much more than that . They know but still watch and come complain again.
If directors are picking him for lead role in romance drama where’s the issue. I find it funny because there’s another actor out there who also seems to have a non kissing disclosure in their contract and still does romance drama but that actor get praised for that. Double standards very much .

The Emperor wanted to kill him out of fear because LQQ is not mortal . He’s afraid LQQ would come back to take the throne and he tried to kill LQQ many times already no success cause he can’t died 😅. LQQ is the one who help him get to the throne when he wasn’t even the heir. That’s a pretty normal behaviour for a Emperor lol. They will kill anybody that they think is threatening their Precious little throne even their own mother if they have too . I don’t think it has anything to do with how LQQ though him when he was his Master/Tutor. That’s just typical human behaviour.
