exactly it’s not a big deal especially if it’s was clearly mentioned multiple time that they are not related for real. The amount of real powerful and popular figures out there who married their biological cousin but I don’t see people reacting like that and making at big deal out of it. why they acting like this under the comments section of a fictional drama 😂.

Me too. In my culture, it's very common. I'm Canadian by nationality, but I was born in the Caribbean, and that's where my ethnicity and family roots are as well. My parents are from there, and so is my entire family.
Since we were kids, we've been taught to call elders "auntie" and "uncle." We use the word "tatie," which basically means auntie. It's a sign of respect for our parents' friends and other elders in the community. I still do it even though I'm older now.
The children of those aunties and uncles become like your cousins. My mom has an aunt she's not even related to by blood. She was raised in my mom's family. Whenever she introduces my mom to someone for the first time, she says, "That's my niece." My mom is her niece in every way that matters, even though they have absolutely no blood relation.
The same thing happens with friends. One of my friends had a baby. We're not related, but I'm still that baby's auntie, and that baby is my niece. You don't have to be biologically related for those family titles to have meaning.
Except we don’t call childhood friends and not blood related people cousins or siblings even if we are close.…
you guys don’t call your parents friend aunties or uncle either ?? Where I’m from we do. it depends on each culture and how you grew up.sorry if my first comment sounded rude , it’s wasn’t my intention. I saw a comment down there and I ain’t gonna lied it did pissed me off . People can be veryyyy..ughh
I’m sorry are people really that….. do you guys not have cousins that are not blood related?? like childhood friend or friend so close that their mom became like a seconds mother to you and your friend is like a sibling. people you grew up with and you call family with no blood connection. is it not a thing anymore.???
waitttt , did they dropped this with no promotion?? I don’t have social media anymore so I don’t follow platforms pages.but I’ve been constantly checking MDL’s app for the past two weeks to see what drama would air next in the upcoming drama section. I didn’t not see this at all 😭😭. there’s no way I missed that
Why does Youku seem to be reducing the amount of episode of their drama 🤔. Those who were filmed some time ago seem to be the usual amount of episodes but the newest are getting shorter. like , 24/28/29 even shorter than that sometimes.
Today's ended A Splendid match has 8.4Recently aired Pursuit of Jade has 9.1Nirvana in Fire has 9.0The Ming Dynasty…
Don’t take MDL ratings too seriously 😅. It’s has no real impact . we just watch for ourselves to see if we like it or not. There’s so many drama that I absolutely love but the ratings is awful 😭. I would have missed those gem if I didn’t watch for myself . On the opposite side, there’s some drama with high ratings that I watched but for me was not worth the hype or like didn’t Stand out to me.
after reading through what you wrote... I wish I had skipped reading it, too, cause all I got from it was that…
Yes you did entertain me with your comment. I had a good time. Also what does Blood of youth had to do with GJM ?? I only mentioned LHY because GJM worked on his drama Hidden Shadow and I was wondering if it would look like his previous work but someone actually answered me .
as For LHY , that’s your opinion. There’s nothing wrong with that. You not liking him or his drama doesn’t affect me . I also didn’t really enjoy his two recent drama. However I still think he has potential, he just end up with bad script. He’s not the only one. there’s a bunch of other actors with great potential but bad script. Like you said, they got unlucky.

I don't know why people are so shocked by that.
