oh no! I watched 5 eps on a whim last night before looking at the comments and they were so good. but literally…
did You like it? it’s only matter if you like it. don’t decide base on the comment especially on Mdl. Better to try it for yourself , everyone has their preferences.
People actually want to watch and discuss the drama in peace without scrolling through essays. If you not where…
I got so annoyed I actually forgot what I initially came here for 😭😂. I’m still at episode 1 and Ml seems so cold hearted 🫢. like a psycho not afraid to kill . I like it
People actually want to watch and discuss the drama in peace without scrolling through essays. If you not where to discuss about characters, the plot etc.. but only about the age gap. There’s no point …really. The show is already filmed, passed Chinese censorship, and is airing. Their main audience/target is in China, not the West. As long as it meets their own standards, they don’t care. If you want to complain, take it to official platforms like Weibo.
Anyway from what read it’s seems to be doing well in China so yeah. Just move on. Just put it in your not interest drama list and go on your day.😅
I’m at episode 4 and so far , I really like the father and son duo ( crown prince and Emperor) . I think this is the first time that I really hope Emperor is not the villain 😭😭. if he is , I will cry with my whole heart 🤧🤧
No hate to the actors, but they should've cast Ai Mi with someone in her age group for a romance. It just feels…
You can voice your concerns on official pages , there’s nothing people on Mdl can do . This is not her first time , she’s been cast like that for years.
It's been 2 years since I watched this, can you remind me why it was bittersweet.I remember it as HE? ?
honestly I would say try it yourself see if you like it.
I personally was pretty disappointed . I would say the first 10 episodes were good but after that I fast forward a lot. it’s really focus on the court and palace stuff. I don’t wanna say to much cause I think it’s better to try it yourself.

It is a happy ending, but the 'bittersweet' part is really more of a feeling than a plot point. While everyone ultimately finds peace, happiness, or freedom, the ending carries a lot of weight. It makes you reflect on the lost and the heavy price of survival in the palace. Even when characters win, the journey to get there leaves a quiet sadness that really hits hard in the last episode. Some characters story can leave a mark in your heart. I can’t really explain well by words , someone have to watch or rewatch to fully understand what I’m saying.
That's it? Su Zui Die carefully planned to break the war between two realm, executed everything perfectly, and…
I think this behavior is highly realistic for this drama, and I completely agree with the other comments. No matter how smart you think you are, overconfidence and love can easily become your downfall. The first time we see this is at Prince Ding’s house. It was sooo obvious what she was trying to do, and all three of them immediately saw through her plan. Ye Li even purposefully called her out on her BS. She underestimated her enemy. Also Look at how she killed that drunk man for the dumbest reason and in broad daylight, no less. She’s impulsive and think highly her herself ( ego , overconfidence). And honestly, look at the reason why she hates MXY in the first place... like, be for real! 😅😂 She even went against her own boss by targeting Ye Li. she didn't expect Ye Li to manage to escape, she let her guard down. She was probably planning to kill her on the spot, just like she did with the drunk dude. Even the trick she used on the princess to kill her wasn't that complicated either. I’ve seen real strategic characters in dramas, and she is definitely not one of them. A truly smart strategist doesn't act like that. Even brilliant people can completely lose control when it comes to things like love and ego, but she is just too impulsive. A real criminal mastermind wouldn't use this kind of sloppy trick that's amateur, debutante level stuff.
If we are talking about real criminal mastermind or strategic masterminds, The Empress is an example but she’s not the best I’ve seen.
